I am sure you will do well with the channel. You have a great natural onscreen presence. The videos are getting better and better. Keep them coming. ✌️
Thanks for your comment! I just recently got the mirror and plan on making a video explaining ins and outs of my choice as soon as I can get it made. Gotta get my mom moved this week, however, which has been consuming loads of time...
If your mom feels it is too high to get into, there is a simple solution: I installed the steps from Black Sheep onto the rock sliders. Easy install, perfect fit
Thanks for your comment. I did have the side runners installed and she actually gets in quite nicely. Her reactions were more about the beastly size, but she does actually feel pretty comfortable riding in it and likes the up-high view.
Love your vids, very very informative, enjoying the streets of San Diego when we lived there, in The OC now and contemplating a Grenadier! Have you thought about window tinting especially on the Safari Windows - UV in SoCal is out of control!!!🌞
Thanks for your comment! Yes, I've been contemplating tinting the skylights and on the first day of my test drive, I realized that my seating position is just behind the skylight so most often the sun isn't really beating down upon me. That caused me to do a "wait and see" and in the meantime, I got those cheap $30 covers that insulate and block all sun (mainly for benefit of my mom when she's a passenger), but they turned out to be better than they look. For the price, they're a good occasional use item. So, while I try to decide this, I'm paying attention to how much/dark I'd want to tint them - but this is definitely on a slower track. See what you think when you test drive.
Hello, I would like to ask you about the mirror dash cam that you recently installed since you haven't posted any video about it. I hope you can talk about it, its type, specifications, and how to install it because I am thinking of buying the Wolfbox G900 to install in my Grenadier.
Howdy - I just had this put in and will be creating a video to explain my installation and the decisions that I faced. Gotta help my mom move this week, so video will be coming as soon as I am able. Thanks for the question!
Hi - I just had a Wolfbox G900 installed. I'll be doing a video about it and all of the decisions that I made in the next couple of weeks - have some family obligations that are keeping me away from the camera at the moment, but it's already in progress! Thanks for your comment.
My modifications mostly fall into the DIY category except for the addition of a rear view mirror/camera that I had professionally installed. I'm working on a video to share some of these projects, but fell a little behind during the move with my mom. Thanks for your comment!
@@MyAutomobileObsession good luck and best wishes to your mom! If you get a chance, check out my page for several installations and reviews of products, including the prototype Eibach USA spec kit and Trailrax prototype roof rack on our Grenadier. We’ve been working on it since November! Enjoy your rig! 🤙🤙
Yes - they are Magsafe phone chargers. I'm going to cover this soon in an upcoming video. Just got a little behind with helping my mom get moved and settled. Thanks for watching!

Maybe not a bad idea. My dealer is also trying to get me more involved in their off-road focused meet-ups. I'm not opposed, but I don't think I get the same enjoyment that true off-road fans get. Time will tell.
LOL - you've got a point. I always have several stops when I first head out of downtown, and when I'm trying to get chatting underway, it becomes a split-concentration thing. Of course, living in California I am aware that some folks consider stop signs to be a suggestion only, but I don't really put myself into that category...at least not intentionally! Thanks for watching!
It most reminds me of my first '95 LWB - Though, the Grenadier isn't as likely to make you sea-sick like the Rover used to - it had a lot of sway when you drove around bends. The LWB had great character and charm and wasn't nearly so fancy/posh as the modern day Range Rovers which sadly became a turn-off for me. The Grenadier is a bit of a unicorn on the road (which I enjoy), and it feels stable and solid (which is reassuring). I feel like the Grenadier will be the kind of car/truck that owners will look back fondly upon as something about being in it and driving it just feels unique/special.
Oh, I do....mostly. But she did teach me to have my own opinions after all, so it was almost comical seeing her have a strong opinion about the Grenadier. She's warming up to it... Thanks for your comment.

Indeed!
Thanks for your kind words. Much appreciated.
Your videos are like im talking to a friend about the IG. Love the new mirror! I want!!

I want a full install video on the camera mirror 😂 …. Where did you mount the camera in the rear? How did you wire it up?

Love the videos. Keep it up and fun

If your momma hates it then it’s a cool car.
LOL - good point! Thanks for the comment.
Which rear view mirror camera did you add to the grenadier? Awesome vids!

I’m interested about those two items on both sides of the compass. Are those phone holders/chargers? I’ve never seen those before.

Do you have a link for that magsafe product? Also, is that a wolfbox g900 for your rierview camera? How do you like it?

I am in Orange County, we should go off-road over landing sometimes…

Another interesting video, Josh. I’ve got to ask though … Don’t you have to stop at stop signs in your country? 😜

You said you once had a Range Rover LWB, which was a pretty big machine. How does driving the Grenadier compare to that experience?

You should listen to your mother.
