I think I’m alone, but I like the light medium the best. I think it brightens your face up. The others look great too. I just got this and like it. I use the reg cc cream on the sides of my face for extra coverage. Love your videos!
So smart to mix the two formulas
I am so happy that you reviewed this!!!! I wanted to try it. Thank you for the great advice and videos as always.
Thank you so much, Samantha! 🥰🥰🥰
Rebecca, Thank you for another great review. You answer so many questions I wouldn’t even have thought to ask! 😆💕
Thank you so much, Whitney! and I still think of all the things I wanted to add and forgot. ARGH! haha
I like the light medium, it brightens your lovely skin xxx
Thank you so much for the lovely compliment, Amanda!
Thank you for another great review! Need confetti!!!!
Honestly, Michelle, what is wrong with me? I love the confetti more than anyone and I keep forgetting it!
I like the light medium! Mixed was nice too.
Thank you so much, Janet. At first everyone was saying the neutral but now a lot of light medium votes are coming in
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty There is something about the brighter look that is so flattering!
@@blondebeauty995 Especially once you add just a little bit of bronzer!
It looks so nice on you. I ordered mine and have received it and the free #7 brush with it. I’m excited to try it. I haven’t been a fan of the other cc creams but I liked the glow factor with this and lighter coverage.
Hello Cayla! Totally agreed. The others felt too thick and kind of dry for my taste. This one is right at my alley and I think you will like it too.
Definitely like the lighter one 👌 😍
Me too! The neutral is going too yellow almost.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty most shades do, you never hear about shades going too pink or cool. Usually orange or yellow lol
Very very true!!! Must be the chemical makeup…of the makeup! Haha.
Yesssss!!! Was waiting for this hahah the original it cc is my fave! Can’t wait to watch this ❤️❤️❤️
Ooooo I like this one, Aline!!!!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty oh no I just realized this one has chemical sunscreen :(( I guess I’ll stick to original . It looks so nice on you though ❤️❌⭕️❌
Yep yep. It’s a shame. I agree.
ooo yay this looks really pretty on you!! I have it in my cart for the Sephora sale!
It's a good one, Lauren!
Hi friend 🙋🏼♀️✨
My vote is for the neutral medium and I’ve been a makeup artist for 20 years, but, honestly you can get away with any of the 3 options 😊
Personal preference, so you do you!
Thank you, Belinda!!! I very much appreciate your opinion!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Definitely the Neutral Medium! We have similar skin tones and I used the CC cream in medium and it’s too yellow. I thought the neutral medium would be too dark, but it’s perfect. I just got mine today and I love it! Thanks for the great review 🥰🌹
I love this, Judi! Thank you so much for weighing in. It’s very very helpful!
I think you could go with either one. This foundation looks absolutely stunning! You look beautiful! Very pretty on the skin.
Thank you so very very much, Laura!!!
Oh wow! My friend was just asking me about this today! I am gonna send her your video
Thank you, Veronica! I appreciate that very much. I hope the video helps her
The neutral medium shade looks great on u & especially with summer around the corner I think it's a great choice
Good point about the season changing, Megan!!!
So glad you tried this one. I'm usually a light with cool rosy undertones, but there is only one "light" in the range. I might try the light-medium with cool rosy undertones. But I'm also holding out to try the Rare Beauty tinted moisturizer that is coming out soon!
Hello Emily! Oh you know I am going to try the rare beauty as well.
Thank you for the excellent review 🙋🏻♀️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Thank you for sharing in it with me!!!!!!
The older It foundation has been my favorite but I’m going to try the Glo one soon.
Hello Beverly! And you might not like this one because it is so much thinner in texture. So if you end up trying this particular one I’d be very curious about your thoughts!
We finally got this in the UK this week! I’ve got light medium and will try it tomorrow. I think this shade looks best on you. ❤
Let me know. I think the light medium is a good shade and it has a beautiful glow to it. just enough.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I love it. This and their original cc cream are my favourites for dry skin days
Defiantly the mix!
Hello caroline! Darn it. The mix always wins. Haha.
Hi Rebecca, great video. I preferred the 2 colours mixed, your make up looked lovely. Never tried It Cosmetics before but really want to try this x
Thank you so much, Victoria! I really like this product. I think it is definitely worth trying

Me too!!!!!
Looks fantastic! 😍as usual on bare face I always like lighter and then bronze/ blush up :) but either works
You know I’ll end up keeping both, Jodi!
I prefer the light medium...it brightens you up. J. 🙂
Thank you so much, Julienne. I agree with you!
I like the light/med best on you. I use the original cc because of the mineral ss, so I won't be getting this due to the chemical ss. Thank you for bringing that to our attention
Hello CAROL! Yes. I am not a fan of chemical sunscreen. I wish it weren’t in there.
Light medium looks best on you. I like them mixed too for a summer shade.
Thank you so very much, Jackie!!!
I love your eyeshadow.
Thank you, Elizabeth!!! It’s the new Tarte!
As usual a fantastic demo !! The light medium brightened your face and almost gave you a 'lift" effect, I'm the same coloring as you, would you say the med neutral is a warm neutral or cool, whenever I use a cool neutral it shows pink on me
Thank you so much, Kari!! The neutral leans yellow actually so this is good news!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I prefer the light medium on you. It evens and brightens you. I really enjoy IT Cosmetics so i’ve been watching reviews on this one. I’ll probably pick it up during the Sephora sale so I get that 20% off lol
That 20% off is crucial! I hear that.
Looks beautiful on you Rebecca!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩 Love the deeper shade and the mix the most, also looking at your neck colour. I don't like SPF in foundations, but this one looks really good!!!! The brand is also here in The Netherlands, at ICI Paris XL, like you, not such a fan, well i love their double ended foundation/concealer/whatever brush!!! Will keep in mind when it comes here, thanks for another great video with lots of honest info, enjoy your day!!!!😘😘😘😘
I like the mix of the two too. Always happens to me. And then I end up keeping both. Argh. Haha. Oh yes!!! That doubled ended brush is really good. I remember that. I need to get it again.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes love the double ended brush, especially with thicker, more full coverage foundations. Have an amazing day!!!😘😘😘😘

Oooh, this is interesting. Wanted to love the original but it was just too much coverage for me. Was just considering the Reformulated Laura Mercier one but maybe now I’ll go for this one?? Decisions decisions! Thanks for another super video though, always so fun, informative and relaxing to watch, your positive energy is infectious. Thank you X
That is incredibly kind of you. Thank you so much for this lovely comment. I think I prefer this one over the Laura Mercier. I just like this little bit of glow that it has but only in the sunshine.
Rebecca i really want to see a ranking video with all the foundation you tried recently because theres so many and you are very detailed and appreciate that. Love all your video
Thank you so much. I absolutely have to do a new ranking video. I keep hesitating because every time I turn around there’s another new release! @@takays2 YOU are an amazing human being. I’m so lucky to have you as part of this incredibly lovely community!!
Hi Rebecca 🦋. Love the look of the Neutral/Medium - very pretty on you. Interestingly, I watched a video by Hung Vanngo recently and he made the comment that as we age, he feels one should pick a slightly darker foundation as we tend to lose colour in our complexion. A few years ago I made the switch to an ever so slightly darker foundation and am much happier with the result.
Really? That is so interesting, Alise. His videos are absolutely fascinating. And I think the neutral medium would kind of count as slightly darker.
That's interesting. As I age (I'm in my 40s) I do find I prefer slightly darker foundations.
@@AS-qk5ii it’s true. It really is.
Yes, I grew up matching foundation colour to my own colouring but I also have very recently changed to go up in colour a little because I have noticed I just look but ill if I go same colour as I am pale with under eye bags (pale foundation highlights them) I think the game changer may be that now we blend down neck and Bronze etc. Previously we just blended under jawline, not so far down. We can get away with it more maybe?
That explanation makes a lot of sense, Polly. Yes. We fine tune. Plus we have so many more nuanced shades now. Our mothers had like five shades only. Haha.
I pre-ordered mine in the light medium and can't wait to try it when it comes tomorrow! I was worried when I saw the added fragrance but it doesn't seem to be too bad based on what others are saying. And I'm the type of person who really likes having the SPF already in my makeup because I'm lazy and hate applying SPF separately! LOL Also, I was afraid the light medium would be too cool toned for me, but their light is so yellow/gray on me, that I went with light medium... And based on how it looks on you, I'd say there's just enough yellow in it. I like the shades mixed on you, but I also kind of liked the light medium alone on you too... mainly because it brightened up your skin a bit more.
The light medium definitely has a tad bit of yellow in it. I think you will be really pleased with it. And it has enough SPF that enough of it will get on your skin rather than the typical SPF which never meets the requirements. Let me know what you think when yours arrives.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Unfortunately I really don't like this one. :( Like you, I found the original cc to be too heavy, so I had high hopes, but this one comes off as super sheer on me! Covers nothing! The shade also oxidized like crazy and the light medium is too dark/orange now. I think their Bye Bye foundation is way better than this. I don't know if you've tried that one?
@@daydreamer3 darn it! I am so sorry. I hope you can return. I’m so sorry. Yes. I have been using the lighter shade version more, I’ve noticed. I do believe it oxidizes and goes a bit yellow. I agree. I can’t find a happy ground with their products. I always like them. I never quite love them.
Can’t wait to try it! When will it drop in the U.K.?
Such a good question. But I know it is coming to the UK because all the cosmetics are available there. I wonder if it might take a month or so. I will keep my eyes peeled.
Hi Rebecca, a makeup artist here in Oz who specializes with us over 40's recommends we match our foundation to our décolletage and see what shade disappears there, so that your makeup looks seemless with your body. That always puts me with a shade several shades darker than my face which I cannot get on board with, especially when they tend to oxidise. A high neck top like you're wearing means you can truly match your face if you want. I like the Light medium personally but I think the Neutral Medium works a tad better for you on bare skin. The bronzer negates the mixing and doesn't show a difference. When you have 2 shades, I'd like to see them swatched on your arm as well side by side and then mixed to see what is created with the 3rd colour and how they compare. I think the sun on your face is a little too bright to get a good idea.
Good idea to show on arm as well, Carolyn! Thank you! And maybe face in indirect sun! It’s so interesting how makeup artists have such differing ideas on shades. It’s like when I bought the Charlotte Tilbury beautiful foundation, if I had gone to three different stores the artists there would’ve probably matched me in three slightly different shades. You know what I mean? I think also, in the past, our mothers, our grandmothers, had so many less shades to choose from. Now it’s so nuanced and there’s so many choices that there seems to be more room for artistic interpretation!
I have been waiting to see this! Really curious how it compares to the illuminate one. Also Rebecca what is on your eyes?!?! You know I LOVE a cool taupey eye 🥰
That is the new Tarte eye palette!!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty ooook. Might have to pick that up! Ty!!!
@@DanielleNicoleMakeup AGREED!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Goodness, the lid colour is very attractive - me like 💜
It’s such a pretty palette.
I like the Neutral Medium I tend to go darker than my neck then blend down agree with you insight on the matching thing... just keep the NM If you have forking out the $$ just keep the one :) Love you!
Love right back at you Renee!!!!!
I like the Neutral Medium on you better. I ordered the Light Medium after trying the color in store. I am usually one shade lighter than you! I think it looks really pretty on you. Interesting because Angie Hot and Flashy hated it. But she may have oiler skin. I’m oily in the t-zone, but normal elsewhere. I worry about my t-zone with it.
Hello Rabbi! This is like if the Jones Road WTFoundation tamed itself down like 85%, if that makes sense. I think it's actually very pretty on the skin and I have disliked every other IT complexion product up until now. This one is very pretty. Yes, if Angie has oily skin, I can see why she'd feel this one slid off. So true. I think if you powder the T-zone, you'll be good to go. but do let me know, if you can.
I purchase the lightest shade. I am an f-1 skin tone. But I purposely go lighter and cooler to counter balance my bronzer. It’s the only way Incan wear bronzer and blush.
Hello Kim! Lately I like to go lighter and bronze up too!
So hard to choose! But I think the Neutral Med looked better than the Light Med but then the 2 mixed is best, of course. Question, did you not want to try the Medium because it says it is for warm, yellow undertones? I am having a hard time deciding which shade for myself. I am a light/med neutral.
Hello Emily! Yes. Here is the issue. The light medium is already yellow enough. And then the medium says it’s yellow so I can’t imagine, you know what I mean?
Well the sale is soon and I am so curious about this I wish I could get a sample first but I may take the leap, but I’ll also keep a lookout to see if it cosmetics competes with Sephora’s sale. This has mixed reviews but my skin is dry and I trust your opinion and think you look fabulous! I was lucky enough to try the Victoria Beckham primer in golden and I love it but can’t afford to keep it up and I use it just on its own to blur and brighten on no makeup days, hoping this can replace it lol
Hello Kristina! Oh the VB primer in Golden is AMAZING. But I've found I only really like it when I apply a ton of it....and that is NOT cost effective, as you so rightly note! I am not entirely sure that this replaces that but it's very very pretty. Try, also, the Shiseido newest skin tint. This one, however, has such a lovely sheen. I think you'll really like it. Please let me know!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I’ll look up your video on the Shiseido one, thank you I’m just hoping to find something hydrating and light for this time of year and I know I can’t rely on it for sunscreen but a little extra never hurts lol
@@kristinaturner7318 True. And this IT product has the sunscreen in it, which is quite nice. Look also at the Estee Lauder double wear sheer which also has a little bit of sunscreen in it and the shape tape cloud coverage by Tarte, also with a little bit of sunscreen.
I never cared for the original. I also found it too thick. This looked lovely on you. I might have to give it a shot. Thank you!
Same. Same. Same. This version much more our style!
I think the neutral medium suits you better. Mixing them works, but it’s $84 plus tax. I haven’t heard of this new foundation. Looks nice! If it’s dry skin friendly, I’m going to look into it.
Hello Janice! Totally dry skin friendly! And I’m really liking it. And thank you for your shade choice!!!
Uh oh you forgot the air horns & confetti 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I can't do a CC cream or balm. Not enough coverage for this beautiful face o mine 😃
Today is National Cocktail Day so ya better celebrate it well 🍸🍸🍸🍸
Really? Today is national cocktail day? Well that really does deserve some air horns and confetti!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yup!! It's also Cheesesteak day but I don't eat meat so I'll celebrate Cocktail Day instead although every day is cocktail day around here...or at least wine 😂😂🍸🍷💓
@@pinksparkle258 I have actually never had an original Philadelphia cheesesteak. I’ve been in Philadelphia 1 million times. I’ve had cheesesteak outside of Philadelphia though it’s not a personal favorite. This will need to be remedied. You can get something Non-red meat. We will both have the drinks. BB too of course
I think these UA-camrs are matching their bodies that seem to be a few shades darker. I used to do this as well, but no more since I got this kinda lightning product from my dermatologist. (The only product that ever worked on my décolleté to lighten it, plus some dark lines on either side of my neck). And, now my skin is definitely more uniformed. Took 4 months, but loving the results. And, as a result, my foundations had to go a shade or 2 lighter. Now to watch the rest of the video.
How interesting, Janice! And, yes, I agree, sometimes only the dermatologist has the real solutions!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes. I found this out! And, honestly, not more expensive then some of the products you buy on-line, or in Nordstrom! I think less. Yes definitely less.
@@janicecroissiert9116 soooo true!!!!!
At first I liked the light medium. But then when you showed your neck/chest it seemed the darker one was a better match. It does really help to see the whole picture lol.
Yes. For sure. I keep reminding myself to wear a V-neck when I do foundations and then immediately I forget. Honestly if my head were not attached it would roll down the hall
How does it compare to the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation?
I actually like this one’s slightly better. It is a little bit more glowy in the sunshine and I think just a prettier foundation overall but I probably am not the best judge of that as I tend not to like Charlotte complexion products in general.
I have to admit that I have a love/hate religion with iT cosmetics. Most of the brand’s products are so dry on my old Af face. But…. That CC Cream blah blah blah..is some of the greatest stuff I’ve used on my face!
My thoughts on foundation per se? At 67 I m into the less-is-more. I use found to even out my skin tone. The greatest tool is the LEIA beauty blender tool! Its the best!

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I used the Supergoop glow screen a few weeks ago for the first time and my face broke out so bad I was embarrassed to leave my house, and it was painful, I’m not sure if that one is mineral or chemical but I’ve been scared ever since 😅
@@hollyrosas I just looked it up and it’s all chemical. That makes sense for a number of reasons. Those kind of super thin sunscreens usually are chemical and, if they happen to be mineral, they tend to advertise it because that’s fairly rare. But there’s also things like sea lavender and other things in there that might be irritants as well. But the chemical sunscreen breaking you out is not unique. I think a lot of people have that issue

I think neutral medium looks more natural and undetectable like you have nothing on. Light medium looks natural but it brightens you up and looks like you enhanced your natural beauty just a tad. If that makes sense.
You’re so kind. Thank you so much. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
The mixed looked great, but if I only were to choose my favorite of the three looks, it would definitely be the Neutral Medium! Not just a matter of darker vs lighter, but also undertones. The Light Medium is way too yellow. But for me, this product is a complete pass because of the chemical SPF.
Hello Nancy! The chemical SPF is indeed a complete bummer, to use the technical term. Ha ha. Everyone is definitely saying the neutral medium!!
That name is sooo long 🤣. I went on Sephora, shade finder. Checked my color in Charlotte Tilbury, Estée Lauder, Ilia, and MAC. My shade was not found.

Yes, mixing these shades is ideal but, if I had to choose only one, I choose the lighter one. Light-medium, right?? It just makes you look brighter. I will spare you my rant on chemical SPF and the IT brand as well. I didn’t like the total nonsense way they defended themselves for using snail secretion filtrate as the second ingredient in their original CC cream. I did research and concluded I wouldn’t buy anything else from the brand and that’s what I did. Now, why do I research ingredients and such?? That’s a problem. It takes the fun out of everything. Why do I have to think about the ways they collect snail secretions?? Now I cannot un-think that and it ruined my interest in the whole brand. I am weird at best, to be honest. That was a while ago (years) and I never looked back. I don’t want to be negative here; this is my story with this particular brand. Maybe they stopped using snail secretion; I don’t know. I do appreciate your review and, as always, you look fantastic!!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰💖
Oooooo I had indeed heard that and wondered if it was a rumor. Ewwwwwwwww. I am so pleased to have your input and opinion. On the shade but also the brand and its history. You know that’s my passion!!
Hey Sis you are not weird cause I feel the same way about this brand too. They still use snail secretion in their products including this one. 🐌
@@pinksparkle258 really???? Ewwwwww
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I do wonder if everything is a rumor, but I read an article saying that, when the brand was asked: how can you be cruelty-free if the second ingredient is snail secretion filtrate?? They responded that they follow snails around to collect the secretions they naturally shed (secretions help tighten skin, etc.) What????!!!!!!!! That is simply impossible. It’s SO ludicrous that I could only laugh. Then I researched how the secretion is indeed collected. No. Just no. I am not a masochist to want to know this stuff. It’s just that the brand’s self-defense was SOOOO absurd that I HAD to follow up. Anyway, that was many years ago. Maybe it’s a non-issue today. Lovely-looking product, though!! Oh, and about the dark foundations… I don’t know how to feel and what to think about that. I don’t do IG, but I have watched some videos here on YT where the creator’s skin is milky white and they use A TON of self-tanner and a super dark foundation to match the body’s tan. They look orange, sorry. Unfortunately, forgive me (just my opinion), but it looks veeeery unnatural and not flattering at all. I would rather see each one of us striving to be the best version of ourselves that we can be rather than desperately trying to become a bronze goddess when you look like 1812 Brothers Grimm’s/1937 Disney’s Snow White. OK, rant over. Sorry!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰💖

Very disappointed that the sunscreen in this is chemical. I can't use chemical sunscreen. Makes my face itchy. What a bummer!!! But I like the netural medium on you best for summer.
