The way the title and thumbnail are arranged I thought at first the game was literally called “Early Access”
When when the game will release it will be in perpetual "Early Access".
@@Jean-Seb I mean gotta agree its Paradox, cant get the complete until 15 years down the track and down $500 on paying for DLC
Thanks for pointing it out! Fixed the title.
So if Satisfactorio and Minecraft had a child
Nice Satisfactory trailer! can't wait for 1.0
Satisfactory
Nah, Satisfactory is much better looking :>
The comparisons to Satisfactory are inevitable, but since I spend half my game time these days in either Factorio or Satisfactory I will say some nice things:
First, is that dam actually holding back water? I would love water physics. I've recently been enjoying a bit of Timberborn and enjoying the water physics.
Secondly, it seems we can interact more with the Terrain. Factorio is limited in this regard, but in Satisfactory the world state is rather permanent - which leads to everyone building their factory out in the ocean where "The world" can't get in the way. Which I think is sad. Seeing underground structures, and mines is really nice.
If I were to criticize two things, the style feels "No, we have Satisfactory at home" to a degree. Not as bad as Stormgate compared to Starcraft/Warcraft levels. But its a concern. Sometimes I just like making my factories pretty.
Secondly, Paradox has botched so many releases I don't want to jump in. They dropped Imperator:Rome just as it got fairly okay. I have 4 digit numbers in my factory games so if I go into this game and they never develop it I will feel a little betrayed.
Those are my thoughts so far.
So Satisfactory from Paradox?
Expect tons of DLC
@@JackfromshackMe on my way to buy the basegame and crack the 200€ DLC
@@miguelpadeiro762 I wanted to do this too, but then I found out that you can get banned from steam if you're not very careful with the "achievements" that you don't have access to.
yeah i dont think the folks over at Coffee Stain studios have much to be worried about
Hopefully you guys didn't shaft these developers like you did Colossal Order. CS2 was and still is an undercooked, bug-ridden game, and you guys pushed CO to release it in such a state since you have the "Release now, patch it later" mentality which is pervasive in the gaming industry!
Yeah or CO is just a bad developer. You dont know if paradox pusched or not…
Same applies to you. You dont know if paradox is a bad publisher that rushed a product @marcussimonsson6805
@@marcussimonsson6805 I find it hard to believe the CO wanted the game out in such an abysmal state. None of their previous games ever flopped like this.
Publishers are notorious for pushing games out the door before being release ready.
Do you people whine about everything?
It’s not out yet waaaaah
It’s out to early waaaaaah
Go outside it’s a fake online game
@@marcussimonsson6805 I mean they are pushing patches with DLC for CS2, like other Paradox games such as Stellaris and HOIV, its the paradox playbook. Pay for the full game after 15 years and $500 of DLC.
So it’s a 3D Factorio! Sweet!
There is also Satisfactory
they made satisfactory!
with terraforming
Knockoff satisfactory?
Is this any different than satisfactory?
It looks like fluids exist in the world, and the terrain is destructible, so you can dig out your own caves. Those are nice things, but who knows if the actual gameplay loop functions. Be cautious!
I'd argue it's more like Factorio. Just because it's first person everyone assumes Satisfactory
Someone show this to Kibitz!
still prefer the 2 items on one belt that factorio have.
I tried the demo and was a bit underwhelmed. procedual land generating might sound nice, but in the end, everything will look the same and 1st person factory builders often lack the overview and scalability(Blueprints) which are a huge part of such factory builders. Factorio/DSP has easy scalability for huge factories, satisfactory has a hand build world inviting to explore. Foundry has terraforming, but I doubt it will be enough.
I will wait for the 1.0
In my opinion, automation games and factory building games don't fit well with a first-person perspective.
In this type of game, it is especially important to keep track of everything and have a good overview. This is much easier from a bird's eye view, as is the case in Factorio, for example. In the first-person perspective, on the other hand, I quickly lose track of things, which can be frustrating.
I also find that the controls in first-person perspective are often unintuitive and uncomfortable in these games. It is difficult to work precisely and keep track of everything at the same time.
how many more games do we need like this? paradox is falling off quickly
What about xbox
My association is... Factorio in WarCraft 3 optics? Which is not bad.
why are the graphics giving off PS1 Earthworm Jim 3D vibes?🤣🤣
Prepare for them to fragment the game into oblivion. Want to make a bridge? There is a overpriced DLC for that! I'm never buying another Paradox game again until they stop being leeches. They just care about their "stakeholders", not their most loyal fan base. Just ask any HOI IV player who has been a loyal player for years.
I think that the game mechanics are just awesome
I bet you can already get a reskin mod with this vibe for Satisfactory. 😂 Someone in a board meeting at Paradox made a "Bad ideas only" joke but then fell on the green-light button.
Does Satisfactory have terraforming?
looks like satisfactory, only worse
Well, Satisfactory 1.0 releases this year, so the competition is big.
Early access factory games don't grow on trees. Oh wait, they seem be doing just that.
WE GETTING AN OSHA AUDIT WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥
It’s a space engineer, but paradox’s version I assume… why not, can be good.
Oh… oh no… my free time…
Looks fun, but what does it bring compared to satisfactory?
Only major differences I see (without seeing how the gameplay loop works) is there seem to be fluids and malleable terrain. So far that's the only stuff I can grasp from the trailer.
No eu5 this is grose
No thanks. I'll stick with satisfactory. And something something about CS2.
At least this one is actually being released as "Early Access".
Perhaps Paradox has learnt a little something about releasing games now...
Also, something something Satisfactory Factorio dark side...
It's Satisfactory x Fortresscraft if you want to be the most apt. And it feels a lot better in multiplayer than either. Probably going to be a better game for co-operative play.
This trailer is beat for beat the Satisfactory trailer. The camera angles, music, how the music drops and then comes back, the fps shots literally doing the same things. Make a factory game, but give it its own identity and don’t straight try and copy/mimic another game trying to catch that success.
You guys will ruin this game with poor made, small content, and high price DLCs?
Go on, keep destroying your reputation.
I'm loving to watch this corporate suicide
I'm sorry but this just looks like Satisfactory but worse...
Wouldn't that be almost exactly the same as Satisfactory? Wouldn't that be plagiarism? Don't count on me to buy this game
So, it's a Satisfactory clone? Lame & unoriginal.
And factorio will remain the only game in the genre that doesn't struggle to run after midgame. Zzzz.
This is almost lawsuit levels of Satisfactory rip off. One thing to be inspired by them, another just to blatantly steal from them. Not seeing anything differentiating the game other than the voxel graphics.
Are you guys going to destroy this game too?
