YOU DID IT!!! Thank you so much! It’s finally snapping into place, after months of trying to suss everything out via reading a plethora of books! So simply explained in one video, I can’t believe you are the first person who has just broken this down. Thank you again, we can finally start playing!
Still learning here. I read that B/X rolls under the ability for success. Reversing the target number works for roll over and keeps the process similar. I reinterpreted the word "level" on the ability test chart on page #189 as "ability score" and it seems to fit the B/X theme.
I think someone said a saving throw is something the DM tells you to roll. Because something is happening to you. Anything else that isn't covered ny other rules would be a DC check.
Im new to BFRPG and found wierd not having skill checks 😅 My solution is blend it with Scarlet Heroes that uses 2d8+stat+lvl vs difficult number. Or i can use Worlds without numbers that uses 2d6 instead. Any recomendation for generating dungeons Layouts? Maybe i pick 4 against darkness for that 😅. Yup all this is for playing solo in mind

My pleasure friend! I hope I can put out more old school roleplaying content in the future.
I'm new and this has helped me. Thank you for sharing this!

Nice! Nothing like colourful examples to help people to remember when and how to apply rules.
Very easy to understand! Thank you!
"Aaron flies down the stairs and cracks his skull open" had me dying laughing. Ya done messed up A A Ron!
Haha glad you found it humorous :)
