It’s the northernmost point of continental South America and a huge desert area known for its indigenous people. Thank you! We were considering going with a tour but in the end chose against it. It is a teachable experience doing trips like these yourself without a guide because you learn how to deal with certain situations. But…we are glad it’s over :)
@@AlexandraAllover I think you made the right decision leaving the beach after the encounter with those guys. I also think you made the right decision to travel by yourself without a tour, despite what happened. Much more interesting to try yourself

Wow, impresionante todo lo que han tenido que atravesar para llegar hasta ahí!!! También estoy muy impresionado con el rendimiento de la Toyota prado, se ve que lo han cuidado muy bien aún después de cruzar esos tramos difíciles. Realmente fueron muy afortunados al haberlo comprado. Por cierto, muy curioso lo del pago de "peajes" con snacks. En Paraguay tuvieron situaciones así? En fin, me alegra ver que están muy bien, disfrutando de sitios tan remotos y exóticos donde muy pocos llegan. Abrazos para ambos, desde Paraguay!!!
¡Martín feliz de saber de ti! Nuestro Toyota Prado fue la mejor compra que hicimos! Y sí, estos peajes indígenas pueden ser bastante complicados. Hubo momentos en que solo querían aceptar dinero. y las cuerdas a veces estaban hechas de cadena de motocicleta, por lo que ni siquiera puede conducir si se siente amenazado. siempre mantuvimos la calma y, a veces, teníamos que esperar unos 10 minutos hasta llegar a un acuerdo (generalmente 2 paquetes de chips más una botella de agua). Sin embargo, me sentí mal, porque al ver cómo arrojan su basura a la naturaleza después de comérsela, creo que donarles comida no es bueno para el medio ambiente. No, nunca tuvimos situaciones como estas en Paraguay.

After that Video, why would you go to Punta Gallinas? El paisaje aburrido, la gente? No hay mucha gente en ESTA region porque no hay nada alla😂. Ni mucha vegetacion. Es cuando eliges tus destinos por factores como "Punto geografico".
