Absolutely. We've seen a ton of home bakers run a business just on an Eddie and social media marketing. Heck - you don't even have to BAKE cookies now - you can order them from other bakers who supply Eddie blanks (circular shaped cookies with white RI frosting). All you really have to know is how to press the print button, then marketing. Do note - you'd still fall under Cottage Food Laws which are differing from state to state. If you join the Sugar Cookie Marketing Group on Facebook, you can find a list of local state-specific Cottage Food Groups or check the Forrager website.
Not anymore! Eddie recently released a wifi adapter. It doesn't come with the standard order but it's a nifty add on! Without it, yes, you'll need to stay connected.
Great question! The ink is actually the only FDA (federal food and drug administration in the United States) approved ink for consumption! So yes - it's safe for humans. The ink is not yet approved for animal consumption - aka no dog treats with Eddie.
You gals are adorable! Great video, however, I wish I could have seen the cookie up close! Thanks for the video and being amazing in your sugar cookie marketing group! You're always making me laugh! I am just a hobbyist cookie decorator, I started last fall only to make for friends, family, and donate to local charities. Therefore I will never be able to financially swing an Eddie but that doesn't mean I can't sit at my computer and drool over Eddie and all he can do! I wish I had him in my life! Yeah we totally missed the mark on the up close shot! We did hold it up but when I reviewed the footage it was SO blurry 😑 but join the Eddie Facebook group! TONS of photos there! Thanks for watching and blessings to you too! ❤

I know a lot of people wanna drop their price per dz when it comes to Eddie prints; however, even though *less time* was spent on Eddie cookies, you have the *cost* of Eddie you need to factor into these cookies. And he's not cheap! So - for that reason, unless it was a large bulk order, we'd probably suggest either staying the course or only the slightest discount - but nothing major. If it were me, and the client asked for Eddie printed cookies, I wouldn't drop the price. I'd just see it as an alternative decorating style - same as an airbrush. Hope that helps!
