Brian D'Addario plays his forst solo show January 2018. Filmed by Kim Traynor
The song after the intro is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard.
I totally agree. To my knowledge it is called "Corner of My Eye" and will be on album 3. Really can't wait.
@@georgepilgrem that's what I was figuring. Go to school was the most hyped I've been for an album but after hearing this I beyond excited for the next
George Pilgrem is it on the new album?!
@@alexrobinson6810 unfortunately no. Still the new album have some gems
you probably dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me atm you can stream pretty much all the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother recently :)

Figured I'd come revisit this now that Corner of My Eye has been released.. absolutely beautiful song
Brian definitely has one of the greatest voices in modern rock and roll! He along with Michael will definitely be remembered as rock legends for many generations.
That unreleased song with an unknown title is one of the most mesmerizing songs I've ever heard. Brian can really write the loveliest tunes and his falsetto makes them eerily beautiful. Sad none of these songs will be found on the upcoming record. It's more of a rocker. I hope it'll all be released as soon as possible though.
that song "Spirit Without a Home" was written for his uncle, my brother, who was 54 years old and passed away i10/2017. He had Down syndrome and was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. He lived with us for 4 years after he got sick and was close to the boys all their lives, even though he lived in Ohio. He was a very special person and they were crazy about him and helped to care for him. Losing John was very hard on all of us.
@@susanhall2439 Thank you dearly for the explanation, Susan. Too bad it took me so long to see it. I had no idea about this, all my condolences. This makes the song even more of a tearjerker. My sister had Down’s syndrome and passed away during the pandemic, so I can relate to this on a rather deep level.
I’m so glad John got to spend his last years on Earth surrounded by such a loving family, and lots of beautiful music I can imagine. Grieving together also makes life somewhat easier to handle; having hands to hold throughout the heartbreak. Bless his soul, and may it be at complete peace.
@@Nerkin610 just reading this. I can't believe you also had a sibling with Down syndrome. So sorry for you and your family's loss. Thank you for sharing that.
This song is unbelievably beautiful, a real gem from the very very capable hands of Brian D’Addario.
my grandpa was born in 1901. when he was very old and I was very young, he used to get tipsy on the whisky and would often wind up singing songs to me with melodies and lyrics very similar to Brians. He is an old soul our B Twig 😎😎😎
years waiting for corner of my eye to be recorder lol i think next album is going to have it
With Covid, one night I was super anxious and Brian's music calmed me.
holy shit the 2nd track is so fucking beautiful. classic spanish guitar vibes.
Beautiful singing.
I can't believe just how talented Brian is.
Genius...
0:49 lyrics:
I’ve got a wonderful feeling that’s ripe for being wrong
Lately, the more it got me kneeling
Its been hard to get along
When I’ve got you in the corner of my eye
All my moments are the same when they are nigh
I saw you twice before
Now I really want to see you more
I’ve played the game of heartbreak
The emptiness remains
But how much loneliness can a man take?
Till he tries to take the rains
When I’ve got you in the corner of my eyes
All my moments are the same when they are nigh
I saw you twice before
Now I really want to see more
I know that I won’t forget you
May not be wise, I might regret you
When I’ve got you in the corner of my eye
All my moments are the same when they are nigh
I saw you twice before
Now I really want to see you more (x3)
(not sure if these are 100% accurate, but I thought other people would find this helpful)

@@kalopsia7115 We made it to 2020! And the album!
Very randy newman-sy... Obviously he's going through a big newman phase. He should rememberm however, a little newman goes a long way.
Randy Newman used to be brilliant. I saw him perform in 1972 and then again in about 1985.
