I just finished a 171 cc big bore kit...A 13. High life racing cam. Nibbi 24 mm slide valve Carb With a power valve. Orange ignition coil. Large dia. Pro - tuned racing .Pipe No muffler...this is in Northern California Stock gearing...58 mph
Bigger isn't always better. You increasing the volume but lowering the velocity of the air intake. Its a 50cc engine. The sucking and blowing need to match in proportion.
I have a 50cc stock heads and carb, pair delete, did the rollers where there rollers slide and dremel out for rollers to slide further out, took three rollers out, installed an 80cc bottom end, raised the needle with a small washer, removed my air box everything to the carb, dremel out intake and outake on the heads, not sure if I missed anything else but, I did get 44mph on my ped. That’s with the speedometer app on my phone, I never use the speedometer on the mopeds. Is there anything else anyone could help out on these completely free mods? Please no be same for leave a comment. Gladly appreciate it, Alohaz 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
I've seen a few of his vut never got supper in depth! I just got a 21mm pwk on my 100cc bbk gy650 tons of other mods too. I get great power but when I come to stops even when just tuning I die out and have trouble getting it started again (too much fuel I'm assuming ) I have a 100main 32 piolet (live in pa) never had many issues with cvk tuning on bbks but this one has me stumped to get it running right !
The reason why with your air fuel mixture is your primary jet is probably too big your main Jets probably too big and that carburetor is way too big for that size CC that's a 90cc now that carburetor is way too big
And why don't you get the a9 camshaft open up the valves a little bit more give it a little bit more performance especially using a bigger size carburetor then you got the best of all worlds
You need to put aftermarket 89 camshaft and cylinder head you got too much carburetor for a stock cylinder head it's not going to help you out that much at all
The outside diameter may be that big.. NO WAY a 50cc or even a 100cc is gonna run on a 34mm carb.. my 80cc barely runs on a 24mm.. stock is 18mm on intake side(inside diameter)
@@floridaavidiy4213 mine hit just over 50mph today on its 1st run of any distance to get top speed.. probably a little more in it, I gotta swap my contra spring for a weaker 1.. I've got the 2k red spring on it now.. 6g weights in a glixal variator
@@JoesRcAdventures yeah mine isn’t as pretty as your project but she takes me from point A to B i think I’m running 8 gram weights with stock but brand new CVT kit and with a big bore kit. So she’s not to upset for installing a 24 mm carb after trying the huge one
I got an old 50cc that has 42 mm on it it's fast to only thing is I'm not getting much mpg with the set up but I have all top end realistically I haven't hit my top end yet don't have a open run to hold open to get past 67 mph even though I can
You really need to start taking way better care and maintain your vehicles. That scooter is filthy dirty and I suspect you have never changed the oil. You will find that your vehicles, will run and perform way better, if you maintain them on a regular basis. And remember you have an economy vehicle that is not designed to run more then maybe 45 to 50 at best. you are not going to win any races with that thing.

Good point that is why I’m running a 52MM big bore kit and running the stock carburetor.

@JonahNAloha I get 50mm out of my 52mm build stock cam
The 21mm pwk put in a 35 air and a 95main may have to lift needle up one with a 50mm bore with sports exhaust kn air filter.
Where do you find pwk main jets smaller then 100??
@masonnuttall1869 rolling wrench check his channel about jets

Nice carburetor that's mikuni or nibi flatslide racing good carburetor with a flat slide
It's good that you know that and just bring it down to like a 24 mm carburetor is all you need
Will a open jet carburator work good on my tao tao pony
By open jet what do you mean?
A higher Quality one but works with stock setup of bike
That I couldn’t tell you brother. I would say try and find out, trial and error

But mine did run even did 50mph.
Yes you are correct it doesn’t not run happy or healthy like this but i was curious and I had it running very well doing 45mph consistently
