Thank you for sharing this. Such beautiful cards. You explained it so clearly and well and didn’t take an hour to do it. 😊 thank you too for making the free printable for the directions. That’s what makes me come back to a channel. Thank you again for sharing your hard work.
Another UA-camr made this card and it caught my eye, but the deal breaker was you showing three more cards with the mere turning of the paper (and different scoring). If I have everything out for 1 card let me go big with 4! Thanks
You are so kind to make the video tutorial AND share a PDF for these cards. MANY thanks for sharing your impressive talents and creative ideas with your fans!
*OMGOSH..... I love all your cards!!! I'm here from Annie Creates giving your channel a shout out on her channel today. She made these cards that she was inspired by you to make. She shared your video link. I'm a big card fan, so I'm Very Happy to learn about your channel. I'm saving this to a Playlist. Total Awesomeness!!! Thank you!!! 😁😁😁* Sharon in SC
Blooming brilliant ❤❤. The designs of your cards are very special and the tutorial that's 2 years old is superb & easy to follow and understand. The tip about using the boarder die at the edge of a banner is simply FANTASTIC!! I would never of thought of doing this in a million years. To me that is the tip of the year. Thank you so much for sharing your tutorial ❤. X X
Fabulous card design. It seems whenever I see hinged cards like this, the crafter glues two separate pieces of cardstock (or more often, two envelopes) together. I love your method. Much cleaner, and without the fear of the hinged piece separating after a while. It’s also a nice way to use up some scraps. Thank you for sharing this! 🌸
LOVE this card design Lynn - especially using the Hand Penned Suite - soooooo pretty!!! Thank you for thinking outside the box and showing a variety of ways to create this fun fold design. I am especially fond of the right side open layout and the landscape bottom open - traditional, yet different. But, I will certainly be making all four of your beautiful designs. Thank you so much for sharing!!
Hello Lynn! Oh, my Stampin’ Friend, YOU are a “life saver”!!! I LOVE THE BOOK BINDING CARD DESIGN! And when I first saw it, I DID think of how it could be done in EITHER FASHION~~PORTRAIT or LANDSCAPE! However, measurements n’ me don’t ALWAYS coincide ~~(and I might be a bit lazy on that, too! haha!) So I WAS THRILLED when I saw your post today! “HOORAY” I shouted to myself~~Lynn has done the measuring for me! THANK YOU OODLES n’ OODLES! :-))))). I LOVE that the DSP gets showcased!! And it’s a PERFECT DESIGN for so many DSPs in my stash! GREAT WAY to use up that paper to create LOVELY CARDS! My Goal = Make Gift Sets w/a variety of greetings n’ DSP! YAY, Lynn! You’ve made my day! TFS n’ HAPPY CREATIN’ (and measuring for me, too!) Sending BIG SMILES from Madison, WI! :-)))))))))))
Haha! I am happy to help with the measurements :) I love to showcase a design in a variety of ways. Plus, these are such fun and simple cards to create so it was easy to come with a bunch of alternatives. Have fun showcasing your DSP! Enjoy your weekend!
Im so glad i subscribed to your channel. The book binding card is a great technique, i like the top flip that looks like a mini note pad, and the 4 ways, especially the larger card. I like your details and included a downloadable sheet to replicate your process, thank you so much for that. I looking forward to what other techniques you share.
Hi Lynn, I love the four book binding cards. What a fun way to use soooo many beautiful designer papers. I also like that your doing the insides of the cards. I have a hard time doing bows, do you have a suggestion for us? I like that your videos are short and to the point. God bless and keep up the great work.
Thanks so much Sue! The Hand Penned DSP is one of my favorites for sure. Bows can be a little tricky. I will have to put together a video on bow making. Thank you for the suggestion! God Bless
Hi Lynn, I am new to card making. I don't know what you mean by "After you stamp the large floral image, from the Hand Penned set, on a scrap piece of cardstock using Black Memento ink. Stamp the “color” into the image using the coordinating images from the set." Thanks!
Hi Barb, thank you for your question. The floral images are creating in two steps. First the outline of the image is stamped (using black ink). Then there are smaller stamp images that you can use to stamp the "color" inside each of the flowers. I hope that helps.
You just need to create the 5 x 7 inch card and then decide how wide you want the book binding section. These cards feature a 1-1/4 inch wide book binding section. You might want a slightly larger one (maybe 1-1/2 inch or so)
waw Absolutely Amazing 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
Thank you Manal

Hi Trish, it's a paper trimmer and scoring tool all in one! You can find it at lynndunn.stampin.net

How would I do this but with a 5x7 card?
You just need to create the 5 x 7 inch card and then decide how wide you want the book binding section. These cards feature a 1-1/4 inch wide book binding section. You might want a slightly larger one (maybe 1-1/2 inch or so)
I enjoy your videos so much. Easy to understand and recreate if I want too.
