Hi! My soldering tweezers are this type (www.amazon.com/Stainless-Straight-Utility-Jewelry-Tweezers/dp/B00IT5FYUO). They are 8-inch pointed tweezers. I’ve tried many kinds of soldering tweezers before-some thicker ones are less prone to deformation but can make your hands feel sore after long use. On the other hand, shorter tweezers are great for precise work, but they heat up too quickly. The ones I use most often now are these 8-inch pointed tweezers. However, they do wear out over time, so I recommend not spending too much on them. I hope this helps!
@ I’ve been using a soldering pick for many, many years. I tried a set of tweezers a while back but they were too short and (like you may have guessed!) got too hot and deformed quickly. Thanks so much for the link. I’ll have to give them a try 🙂🙏
