- People from LLTV got the opportunity to sit down with the most decorated Olympian of all time, Mr. Michael Phelps. Michael reflected on the last year which has seen him rise to legendary status. They also spoke about his retirement plans - he may have hung up his swimsuit, but he hasn't quite given up sport...yet.
He's so humble yet inspirational.

Are you daft? You don't become the best swimmer in the world if you're a "lazy bum".
Remember, he's been swimming at world-class level since 15 when he reached finals in the 200 fly in 2000. Imagine 12 years of intense training. I can honestly say I couldn't manage that. Not the sort of distances he managed per week.
And he isn't sick of swimming. He's truly passionate about it, just not interested in racing anymore. Who can blame him? He's done his job and he's happy with it.
He's achieved everything he can within the sport.

It's nothing to do with being lazy. He likes swimming, he's sick of it and has achieved everything possible. He's still teaching disadvantaged kids to swim. His passed age of physical peak, why continue to get worse

@UACatsMan - I just LOVE that idea! He's lazy? If we were ALL lazy like that, I think the world would be a better place. We'd just all do what we set out to do. That just doesn't happen without trying, without working for it, without effort. Unless, I suppose, what you set out to do is nothing. Redefining the possibilities within a sport? That is not a small thing to do. Anyone who believes otherwise is delusional.

Golf? Keep your itineraries to yourself and DON'T keep a pattern to your activities. I think that that's what happened to Tiger. Remember those guys (snipers) in the D.C. area? Well . . . the younger one said that they had cruised the Tucson area where Tiger had been known to visit. Later in time, he needed surgery on a knee (or something like that). There are electronic devices that rascals use/point at people that impact physiological conditions. I think that's what happened to him . . . besides his extra-curricular activities. Keep YOUR itineraries to yourself and DON'T keep a pattern of your activities.
