I think there’s zero chance ferals go for LotP this phase. Loosing out on Furor is a MASSIVE hit to our dps and I highly doubt 3% crit to party members even comes close especially when it’s RNG based. Not powershifting means losing out on sooo many globals where you’d have to just wait on energy. We are much more likely going 0/26/5 for phase 2.
We have mana to shape like 5 times total though? 5, maybe 6 power shifts vs 20% strength to urself, and 3% crit to you and your party which is 15% crit in one talent.
@@zurphdog2255 mana pots are a thing and are badically a requirement for feral dps. Mp5 food buff, wisdom, pally giving mana from their runes, tigers fury energy giving you a chance to return some all help with the mana. Not to mention we aren’t shifting as often as before due to using shred. You also probably won’t have as many melee in gnomer as you did in bfd since melee is super nerfed in there. In my group it was just me a ret and the tanks, one of which was a warlock. All other dps were casters and a hunter for aspect of the lion. Lotp is only melee crit so it doesn’t help as much as you’d think with it being RNG, bosses dying in a min-1.5min (except the last boss) and the bosses taking like 40% less physical damage.

Good video man. But as a lifetime feral. You have to run furor and power shift. It's not even close.
You will be running 5 in furor all else in feral, no leader of thr pack
I don't know about going deep feral. Omen might give you the ability to bite more often. And the highest rank bite you can get is lvl 40. might be the way imo

I play boomkin atm and I really like it, rotation is also fun even at level 25, that means at 60 its going to be even better. But I also want to try feral and resto as they look very fun as well.
Really wish we had a dual spec option to easy swap between specs.

I just finished leveling my druid and did a single bfd (have 3 other chars with pretty much full bis). And druid is SOO fun I don't want to play any of the 3 geared chars... 😂 Would play resto/balance I suppose.
My main is enha tank shaman atm with my main alt as hybrid priest. I vote for either next 😅

For nourish: usually the rune mana cost is relatively low.
For Eclipse 2 more days and we find out :D
@@Frostadamus hello there I appreciate the fast reply. Nourish wise I might miss read the tooltip it was 39% of base mana and I was wtf is way to much. Now eclipse I main do PvP 24/7 only doing dragon punching for the gear with pugs and if starsurge didn't trigger eclipse they need to rename to dogclypse 😂

We don't know the mana cost yet. And most likely a big part of the runes will get modified until release.
This is last week info and no PTR was done for phase 2.
It was the same before the release of sod. Lots of stuff got changed.

They modified the Eclipse rune so Wrath reduces the cooldown on Starfire by 1 sec, stacks 4 times. OMG.

So I’m pretty sure I’m going Hunter as an alt but in torn on feral or 2 hand shaman as a main which do you think will be better?
For PVE DPS maybe feral.
For PVP FUN maybe 2h Shaman.
Mangle and Lacerate are on the same rune slot, you would need to replace Lacerate with Mangle to make use of Berserk.
Think my Tank and Feral spec mixed up and the runes changed.
There should be a message on the screen.
Also check the armory for more info.
Weird thing about the balance spec, it is actually better to get 5/5 Imrpoved Starfire instead of Nature's Grace in PvE, because weirdly enough NG does not actually improve our damage at all. It does nothing for Wrath, because we are still bound by the GCD. But because we have to keep up DoT's and make sure to hit Starsurge on CD, getting a slightly faster Starfire will actually not allow us to cast any additional spells, because it would delay Starsurge and DoT's by 0.9 second. So NG would just cause us to sit not casting for 0.4 seconds. On the other hand, by not having 5/5 Imrpoved Starfire you end up delaying Starsurge by 0.1 second for every 12 second. Not a lot, but it's a DPS loss nonetheless. The rotation will look like this:
Starsurge > Moonfire > Sunfire > Wrath > Starsurge > Starfire > Wrath > repeat
(the numbers 0.4 and 0.9 seconds comes from the fact that in a NG spec, you have 3.1 Starfire casting time from only 4/5 Improved Starfire).
On my mage I spam frostbolt.

My guild needs a resto druid for the raid so i will spec into it at 40 prob for the first week or 2, until i can judge if i can just be boomkin spec running healing runes or not... 😅
First 2 resets it might be wise to be resto. You never know how hard the bosses hit.
And it's always a bit of struggle until everyone learns the fights.

Even if I have way better feral gear? Like all bfd slots. I do have like 7 blue items for caster too but not as much. Thoughts? I intend to just grind mobs instead of questing cuz I feel like imma get pwnd all the time in pvp (pvp server) and quests are competed for, maybe grinding mobs somewhere alone (good for gold too) is nice for me. Can't dungeon grind cuz I got work and familly so can only do one or two dungeons a day. I really wonder what u think of this idea.

iv been playing feral for years and id say feral is way more consistant when solo lvling, however with starsurge and good gear it might be good to play balance@@Jorrywoodmen
Yo frost. I know you don't main a druid. But just a slight error. You took berserk rune for bear, but then you also took lacerate. So berserk would have no benefit unless you also took the mangle rune.
yea my feral & tank runes swapped and ended having mangle on feral and lacerate on tank. There should be a message on the screen when they appear.
@13:20 Feral Tanks can't use Mangle and Lacerate at the same time. It's on the same rune slot.
The specs messed up when I was swapping between them.
What about hybrid resto/balance build?

This is what I need to know. I will heal as resto in the raid and then balance for PVP. I wish they would just add dual spec.
Cool how the set pieces had increased arcane and nature damage FLAT, not "up to", meaning full gain for all related spells.

Mine is level 18 or so. Need to speed up the leveling process.
And dreamstate would be good if it added arcane buff also but with just nature damage it doesn't benefit starfire or moonfire and I believe starsurge. So possible wasted buff if on that patt of rotation

@@maddeken yeah balance druid is just so underwelming compared to other specs and classes which is why they don't even talk about it much in tier list for phase 2. Don't even give it a seperate spec just tie in druid as a whole
@@danielpalmer7297 From a PVE perspective. PVP balance druids have done well.
I'm sorry frosty but this guide is a bit misleading, we will still take furor as feral 100%, and 20% mangle damage is probably still bigger than ooc + 10% physical.

Ok let's talk about how can be better. How about a cooldown buff rune incarnation gift of elune I believe is the name. How about 3% crit and 3 % spell hit, or 5,5 like in wrath,.

Why would anyone use Savage fury talent as a Cat? It buffs CLAW which you will never use and RAKE which is inferior to Mangle in DPS and damage per energy.
Eclipse is not a good buff in sod. There is no spell hast to make starfire faster casts to tie in with that 6 second cooldown of starsurge wich is a spell you will want to cast on cooldown
We are mostly classic players on this channel. We used to play a scuffed druid that was able to do nothing.
When we see eclipse, we clap.
Our expectation are so low that we have a smile for anything we get =)
@Frostadamus yeah but don't say something that is interesting true. Eclipse is ok in wrath but in wrath there isn't starsurge or sunfire that complicates the rotation. And there is glyph that extend moonfire duration meaning less time stopping the rotation to really moonfire. With global cooldown casting starsurge every 4.5 seconds because the instance spells will be a 1m5 second global cooldown. So starsurge,gc, sunfire dc, moonfire,gc starsurfe gc, wrath wrath, starsurge. Etc
@@Frostadamus and starfire a 3 second cast means 1 satarfire wait 1 second cast starsurfe
Casting Wrath will provide the +Crit% to Starsurge with Eclipse rune.
@@zacharyshort384 yes I understand. The problem is starsure will be your most important spell to cast on cooldown. Understanding global cooldown there is a 1.5 second gcd. Meaning starsurge ,1.5gcd. Meaning yoy have 4.5 ish seconds for starsurge to be ready again. Given starfire is a 3 second cast with talents and 2.5 second cast if other talent procs you still will only get 1 starfire inbetween starsurge casts or you cast it 2 times then starfire waiting starsurge cast. Meaning instead of casting let's say 20 starsurges in a fight you cast 14.

You had it right on the original video. Mangle is for cat and lacerate is for bear/tank. Not sure why you “fixed” it by breaking it.

@@Frostadamus Most likely 11/16/5. Shred wil be insane next phase with feral talents for reduced energy cost & furor, plus clear cast procs & flat 10% damage increase. If you can succesfully spam shed that is.

Erm... Feral talent options that you linked are a bit questionable.
-The first option will prob be bis later on with a lot of gear and a pumper grp. So by the time TF - Zerk - TF runs out the boss is dead.
-The second option is probably gonna be more standard and probably close to option one in reality. Omen still results in a small dps gain, bosses die waaay too fast so going for it ? Meh.
-And the most likely "selfish" options parsing Ferals will go for is gonna be 110% into Furor, then omen, and the rest into Feral, and go on a full powershift mangle spam, same as now.

Think it's safe to say that people will get 31 points in feral.
No one running furor is going to be picking up omen, you’re going to be putting 0/26/5. This video is actually the first time I’ve even seen an omen of clarity build speculated for p2.
@@JT-mt6ku What are you talking about? Cat Druids are running Omen and Furor together right now. The greedy spec in Phase 2 will be 11/15/5. The one that you will have to go to get into raid is 0/31/0, unless you have a Bear Tank.
@PJ-mt6ku as a lifetime feral this is it. Cat druids no leader, eunbing furor. Power shifting eve without wolfshead helm is absolutely berserk level of dmg.
3% crit isn't enough for a group.
Feral tanks will have leader of the pack.
As far as lop being prerequisit for feral, lol. You will take wild strikes and you will be happy with it.
@@JT-mt6ku Its not optimal. One one side HoTW does not give a big bonus yet due to low lvl and stats. But losing Savage Fury and not being able to keep FF up as cat, is probably not very good.

y i like frost videos but he got feral totaly wrong, you won't be using LW epic helm, rather go wolfshead, that helm was BIS in TBC no lvl 40 helm match it even close, also furor is mandatory for feral you can't play without it, clearcasting is OK but you get so much more from feral tree like 20% flat mangle dmg from savage fury so go to spec be like 0-26-5 but not totaly sure about that yet.

I will be here , but I just don't understand why you are intentionally putting out misinfromation at this point , its one thing to create a bad to average guide, another thing to not have ever played the class before or have read the abilities that are in the game since phase 1 start , ''Kind of the Jungle '' as Bear tank rune ? you do realize you are unable to use a cat ability as a bear ? It's cat ability only which makes sense since it addtionally says it restores 60 energy and nowhere to be found ''it restores x amount of rage'' ? You would expect atleast that someone has read the abilties beforehand before puttin out this suggetions afterall you have been talking on this topic in your video not just briefly but in particular highlighted in 13:25 notice how you have cutted the video very so obviously to avoid critism ? You literally name every rune and you can even still see in the video that you have put King of the Jungle as boots slot bear tank rune , very disapointed to witness this and a very low blow towards your community to not even clarify it down the comments @@Frostadamus
@@XxLyrokxX98 to be fair, when everyone has gear, no one is dying and its all about dealing as much damage as possible. I think tanks will only need "survival instincts" until everyone gets enough gear to clear. sorta like feral tanks using wild strikes instead of survival of the fittest.

@@XxLyrokxX98 yeah, didnt know it was reuploaded, just watched it. also I swear when I check the new version of King, it didn't say "requires cat form" - my only point was that damage is king and survivability can be disregarded when everyone has gear. of course all of this relies on the King of the Jungle version being usable in bear, even if only for the dmg increase and not the energy (which cant be used)
Please call it healing, its not the same as spell power. When I here spell power I think its good for balance, but its not and I am will be getting gear mixed up in my head.
In classic there used to be a big difference between healing and damage and healing gear, almost double. For some reason healing gear is not that powerful anymore.
Maybe blizzard should have made only spellpower gear :D

Was looking into the hunter. Seems like a lot has changed. Found like 3 viable specs. One is full melee. LOL.
@@Frostadamus Yeah, interested to see what you've found. I think melee, weave, turret will all be pretty viable. I haven't crunched any numbers but not sure if full melee actually wants to go survival talents (since they wont really use trap rune) if you can get more dps from BM talents. I wanna see more people talk about it to compare what I've found but no one else is degen cope theory crafting about it yet.
I'm wondering how raptor strike will work with the dual wield rune but without the melee specialist rune. Will a "next melee" ability that conjoins your weapons give you a free off hand hit? Raptor strike also seems to be changed to not have a cooldown by default which means you could spam it and never miss or have glancing blows.
@@ForbiddenFollyFollower yeah, im not sure about the raptor strike changes under "class tuning" because the melee spec rune says "reduces raptor strike to 3 seconds" which is more than instant..
I'm trying to think of a situation where you would use dual wield rune without melee spec? I think even melee weave would still get more dps from 2h Flanking strike + trap launcher

Mark my words, NO feral druid DPS will ever go down to the leader of the pack talent. Only tank ferals will do that.
The only viable way to go this early into the seasons is 5 points in furor. Everybody will choose furor over omen, and EVERYBODY will choose furor over leader of the pack, its simply not worth it to go that deep in phase two
You never know man. Blizzard is making a lot of changes. Here is what we got so far from druid.
-Shred buffed from 225% damage to 300%
-Enrage gives 20 rage instantly and 10 over time (instead of just 20 over time)
-Omen of Clarity now lasts 30 minutes
-Rake base damage AND dot damage both increased by 50%
-Feline Swiftness now works indoors
@@Frostadamus where did u read all these changes? Haven’t seen that, I noticed that feline swift only works indoor if you put one point in it for 15% speed, if you put 2 points for 30% it’s only for the outdoors
