I bought the controller the day it came out and so far I love It, but I think the grips are over hyped but they work. Super human hearing mode does work and it's not a marketing gimmick. I play mainly warzone and I love it. Best budget controller.
I got one, in less than a week the controller would stop working periodically I checked the cable nothing was wrong, I would have to unplug and plug it back in. Took back got replacement. Glad I got extended warranty, I have a feeling there may be more issues.
Migrate with this controller is the setting your special buttons in the back I feel like it's too complicated and I just realized you can't do it when it's plugged into your PC and doesn't allow you to set your buttons so you can't do it in real time like while you're playing a game. Well I guees sort of you have to unplug. I wish this feature was simple to use lock powerAs.
In my option this controller was waste of money. I cannot use any headset because I cannot download firmware from xbox store to configure the controller.
Id buy at best buy if you want the features despite the stick drift issues. Cause this thing WILL break, its not built well. Then keep returning them for new ones over and over. Sounds terrible, but hey, their quality should be up to par.
Hard to justify a buy for $200 controller with no haptic feedback. I own both Series X / PS5. Sony controller size and shape isn't as good as Xbox, but their price for what your getting . Shouldn't have to wait for new xbox to get a better , better yet more innovative controller.
This Controller isn't $200 unless your talking about the new one coming out. The stealth which I will be reviewing I agree $200 is a lot for a Controller. But we will see if this new one is worth it.
I loved the Recon Controller but.. after a week later I received some stick drift already on the left stick. Everything else is awesome I wish the sticks were better quality.
Controller get stick drift this is just part of it there are so many factors that go into it as well how was it treated so forth if you have a issue use the warranty that's what it is there for.
I play Fortnight I love pro Aim ADS slow down button I use it for all guns, it's INSANE when U get used to it. Cheers tho I didn't understand so much about the sound settings etc Great controler buty extensions don't fit on my analogue thumb sticks aye
So if I remember correctly, it has motors in the palms and under the triggers, which I wah a normal xbox controller has, so I would think it is close to that. But I gave the controller away a long time ago, so I'm not certain now.
I bought this for 40 somethings dollars on amazon and got it the following day. Its crazy how cheap and fast you can get it. Unlike before I spend like 200 dollars on scuf controller and have to wait 2 weeks or longer. I like this better than my scufs. I probably gone through 3 o 4 scuf controller since the original black ops 2 but this cheap turtle beach feels much better.
All good we I am always open to discuss this and appreciate the honesty like about the vibrations I didn't really think of it. The thumb stick tension is noticeably stiffer on this controller compared to a standard Xbox controller or a few others I’ve tried. Not necessarily a good or bad thing, just something to note if you’re looking at buying it. Took me a bit to get used to
I need a controller with same stick tension as the standard xbox controller but with the buttons on the back. Tight sticks hinder my recoil control badly

Extremely disappointed. Not even 2 weeks I've had mine and it already has a stick malfunction, yep you read that right, malfunction. My right stick will just go straight to the right constantly, even with me looking in other directions. I clearly got unlucky, but just beware. Other than it feeling cheap, I loved the controller. Really good. But needs to be built better. Id recommend powera. Cheaper and more paddles. Edit I forgot. My headphones plug is also messed up, my friends say my mic randomly buzzes pretty loud for about 10 seconds. Id just stay away from this controller, risk ain't worth the money. The sound mode isn't even that good, the paddles are annoying to set up, and there's only 2. Really ranting now but just really upset I wasted $50
Yea seemes like you got unlucky. That happens from time to time. I can show you lots of people that love thins controller. But each there own hopefully you took advantage of the warranty

I am replacing a pdp controller, hence why I've just got the recon, PDP is worth it they don't feel cheap or flimsy amd last quite a while. Mine still works fine but my kids messed up the power port 😔
yea man these are sold in mass quantity so it's only normal for some to come out of the box with stick drift. but they have warranty so just send that thing back if it does and force them to give you one that is worthy of your money. pdp is a good controller I am actually working on a compassion video with the pdp afterglow and the powera spectra infinity controller now.
I’ve had my power a fusion pro v1 for close to a year. Decided to try recon controller out. Started to have issues pretty sooner after. Loved the feel and the paddles a lot. Stick drift started to occur on the left stick and pressing the left and right triggers don’t always press on fast paced games like cod and fort. I thought maybe I wasn’t fully releasing the the triggers all the way but I was right unfortunately. I’m sending back tomorrow. Maybe once they make more versions with more trial and error they can compete with the fusion pro v1. For now I will stick with it. One year and I have no stick drift. Hope everybody else has a better experience.
Thanks for the feedback back always good to hear the good and bad. My friend uses it a lot and has no issues. Hopefully it doesn't become a problem for him now that I've said that. Lol
Never tried the powera pro but every single other controller of theirs I have bought is god awful, either the triggers don't work, analogs sticks don't work or you can't hear any audio when plugged in
I hear you the paddles on the fusion pro went bad back in Jun. I did a warranty claim and am still waiting lol. The Infinity I use seem to be half way decent for the price I like razer I've used 2 now the TE and the new chroma 2 and I love it they cost more but I am cool with it if I get quality from it.

Hello sir, and thank you for the review! I just ordered one today. I've ordered it over the wolverine v2 chroma in order to also afford a headset with it. I assume you own both of these controllers. Please tell me, in your opinion, have I made a wrong choice? I'm mostly interested in reliability. I'm very careful with my gear, but I will use it on PC, including fighting games. So I wonder, how long will these products last? I expect at least two years. What do you think?
From what I can tell from online reviews they last about a six months to a year or so before any issues start showing, but I think you could run two years on it if you can map your deadzones well, I also hear that the cord it comes with is kinda sucky, but you can use your own so that's not really an issue

Great review I’m probably grabbing this soon as I see one. Oh and I have a powerA controller with a share button that works on my Xbox One X. So maybe this controllers share button will work with older Xbox’s as well not just the X/S
I’ve had mine for about a month. There are some issues with it, but not big enough of an issue for me to shell out money for a new one. Stick drift is real, and it happened about 2 weeks after I got it. Some times, my left stick will keep me moving forward after I let go of it, and the right stick will just ghost by itself. Not a big issue, since it’s not hard to correct it. Wish it did last longer before I got the ol drift tho

Well depends do you have a wired headset if so turtle Beach probably but if you have wireless headset fusion pro all the way. But also remember the Recon has 2 extra buttons where the fusion has 4 paddles so that plays a role as well. But they are both good controller's.

Lol when I first seen this I was like what I don't sound nervous. But when I went back and listened I can see where that could been thought my editing style is different know so it should sound better. Also I think I recorded that like 3 times since I had audio issues and was probably trying to speed threw it. Great at 1st with loads of features but after only 1 month I have a wobbly left stick that's drifts everywhere...it seems turtle beach just use cheap crap plastic parts inside their controllers as it happens so much on their new controllers. I used to love this turtle beach controller but not anymore 😡
Use that warranty make them send another on and everytime after that. I didn't experience that but didn't play with it that long either. My bud 4 year old plays with it everyday and he swears by it.
I would say a mixed of comments some say its good other say bad. I am the guy who like to watch the movie for my self to see if it's bad or not lol. But if you run wireless headset check out the powera Spectra Controller I did. Better price and dose more if you run wireless headset.
Does this controller or the Fusion allow you to turn off button inputs for the standard buttons like the Elite? Mainly want to turn off the thumbsticks presses.
Are the triggers as responsive as the series x controller where you barely have to press them or do you have to push them down further to shoot more like the ps4 controller?
So wired headset's with wire headset's can cause issues sometimes see if he has another headset and try it any headset with a cable will work just to test. Process of Elimination.
Got my hands on one of these controllers a week or so after release and its super compy nice size good buttons and grips, however im dealing with some major stick drift with the left stick downwards which has got me a little baffled as i keep it clean and flat to avoid any kind of wear on it heck i even dissassmbled it to give it a clean and still the issue. Maybe i just got a bad controller of the batch

Damn man reading the comments it looks like every controller has stick drift after a month! Just gonna hook up my ps4 controller with a brook wingman usb coz I'm not gonna pay £130 for a razor or elite and it still sucks! Sorry but xbox controllers are nothing compared to playstation
it started acting up after 2 weeks of use. Weirdly, i believe it happened when i started using it on Xbox one x. Initially it worked perfectly fine on pc. As soon as i connected if to xbox it worked well for 5 minutes then it weirdly disconnected in the middle of an online session, my character kept repeating buttons i never pressed and i lost control, i switched to the other usb port, nothing changed. Anyway, i went back to using it on pc everything was normal for a few minutes, but again, it disconnected and started acting up, i updated the driver for it using the app, it still kept acting up after minutes of working completely fine, so i disabled it and enabled it, same issue happened, i uninstalled it through the device manager and reset it to factory settings using the guide on their website and it worked for -again- a few minutes. The point is that it will work perfectly fine until it doesn't. Keep in mind i only had it working perfectly for 2 weeks , after that it will just ruin itself. I personally believe it's programmed to fail, just like my older Razer controller, as well as the nacon controller which seem to fail after weeks or months of usage. I have tried every possible fix even used different usb ports on my pc , it does not matter, it doesn't work with xbox or pc. It's a mess inside, don't buy it! I know some of you will offer silly fixes that i already tried, there's nothing that can fix this controller it's simply pure garbage inside, Maybe it's just my unit, but this happened to me with every branded controller i used, i truly believe they're programmed to fail, there's no way i had bad luck with 3 of them in a row on pc ps4 and xbox. It's just ridiculous.
How often do you use it and does it still work? Can you still use the volume control on the console? I am interested in getting this controller but I wish to know more about it. I had gotten the PDP controller and i can't use my mic at all, it turned everything grey so can't even touch it.
Are we not going to talk about the fact the trigger vibration is horrible and seriously noisy. plus the fact if you have a turtle beach headset such as the stealth 600 gen 2 its not going to work with the controller which is very sad
So for vibrations I can't speak to this since I turn vibrations of. I don't like it. Noisy dosent bother me since I wear the stealth 600 as well and can't hear them while I am playing I do mentioned wireless headset's doesn't work with this controller in the video. Which I agree was a bummer. I tell people if you run wireless I would look else where. But this is turtle Beach first controller ever so I give them room to grow but I fill they did a great job but there is always room to grow. I appreciate the comment hope you stick around 🙂
Quick question if you own this controller... With every wired controller Ive come across the people in my party can hear a buzzing noise coming from my mic because I've got a wired headset and the wired controller picks up some static from the power cable. Does this controller have that same buzzing noise for the people in your party?
@@jannieduiwel3130 I'm unsure bud haven't tested it with a wired headset the controller feel and vibration alone was enough to make me put it down and never grace it with my touch again 🤣
So if you are in the mode set the sensitivity with the 4 dots like with everything else and all you have to do is hold it down wile ADS. Note that if you remap the buttons you can't have it set up with another button and pro aim at the same time. So make sure you set the controller to default for profiles. Under mapping mode

Got mine out the box stick drift on both sticks broken audio input and one of the back buttons was basically broken off, brand new from Amazon

Has anyone figured out why sometimes the mic doesn't work? Press a bunch of buttons and it works again. Not sure what I'm pressing to make it work tho

Do you recommend the powera fusion pro or this controller? I'm only interested in playing with two levers but I don't know which levers are better
Well depends do you have a wired headset if so turtle Beach probably but if you have wireless headset fusion pro all the way. But also remember the Recon has 2 extra buttons where the fusion has 4 paddles so that plays a role as well. But they are both good controller's.
If you only want 2 buttons then go with the recon

Better the fusion pro are metal on plastic so they will eventually ware out mine did. The buttons should last longer I think.

Lol when I first seen this I was like what I don't sound nervous. But when I went back and listened I can see where that could been thought my editing style is different know so it should sound better. Also I think I recorded that like 3 times since I had audio issues and was probably trying to speed threw it. Thanks tho I cam always learn and always get better hang around let me know how i do in the future.

I fell like the were pretty easy to use and felt good personally.
Some people complain about the loudness of the buttons but I wear a headset and don't hear them so that didn't bother me at all

Great at 1st with loads of features but after only 1 month I have a wobbly left stick that's drifts everywhere...it seems turtle beach just use cheap crap plastic parts inside their controllers as it happens so much on their new controllers. I used to love this turtle beach controller but not anymore 😡
Use that warranty make them send another on and everytime after that. I didn't experience that but didn't play with it that long either. My bud 4 year old plays with it everyday and he swears by it.

I would say a mixed of comments some say its good other say bad. I am the guy who like to watch the movie for my self to see if it's bad or not lol. But if you run wireless headset check out the powera Spectra Controller I did. Better price and dose more if you run wireless headset.

Does this controller or the Fusion allow you to turn off button inputs for the standard buttons like the Elite? Mainly want to turn off the thumbsticks presses.

Since it just came out I wouldn't know I just got it when it cam out. But if I had to guess honestly yes like you said ever other controller lol.

If they do start to get drift and you play games like fortnite, you can just increase the dead zone and you will be fine

Are the triggers as responsive as the series x controller where you barely have to press them or do you have to push them down further to shoot more like the ps4 controller?
Good question they seemed ok but I use the razer TE Controller with trigger locks so everything will seem worse but I didn't have a issue with them.

So wired headset's with wire headset's can cause issues sometimes see if he has another headset and try it any headset with a cable will work just to test. Process of Elimination.

Got my hands on one of these controllers a week or so after release and its super compy nice size good buttons and grips, however im dealing with some major stick drift with the left stick downwards which has got me a little baffled as i keep it clean and flat to avoid any kind of wear on it heck i even dissassmbled it to give it a clean and still the issue. Maybe i just got a bad controller of the batch
I would send it back lol no way if it's already doing it use that warranty. We pay to much for these things. Lol

If it hasn't been over 30 days take it back to the store you bought it from and just exchange it.
@@PughsReview ill give them ago and see what they say the reason i dissasembled it in the first place was one of the pads came off inside the controller so ive had not alot of luck with it

Damn man reading the comments it looks like every controller has stick drift after a month! Just gonna hook up my ps4 controller with a brook wingman usb coz I'm not gonna pay £130 for a razor or elite and it still sucks! Sorry but xbox controllers are nothing compared to playstation
Yep every controller does eventually get stick drift but like I always say warranty that thing out and keep getting new controllers
it started acting up after 2 weeks of use. Weirdly, i believe it happened when i started using it on Xbox one x. Initially it worked perfectly fine on pc. As soon as i connected if to xbox it worked well for 5 minutes then it weirdly disconnected in the middle of an online session, my character kept repeating buttons i never pressed and i lost control, i switched to the other usb port, nothing changed. Anyway, i went back to using it on pc everything was normal for a few minutes, but again, it disconnected and started acting up, i updated the driver for it using the app, it still kept acting up after minutes of working completely fine, so i disabled it and enabled it, same issue happened, i uninstalled it through the device manager and reset it to factory settings using the guide on their website and it worked for -again- a few minutes. The point is that it will work perfectly fine until it doesn't. Keep in mind i only had it working perfectly for 2 weeks , after that it will just ruin itself. I personally believe it's programmed to fail, just like my older Razer controller, as well as the nacon controller which seem to fail after weeks or months of usage. I have tried every possible fix even used different usb ports on my pc , it does not matter, it doesn't work with xbox or pc. It's a mess inside, don't buy it!
I know some of you will offer silly fixes that i already tried, there's nothing that can fix this controller it's simply pure garbage inside, Maybe it's just my unit, but this happened to me with every branded controller i used, i truly believe they're programmed to fail, there's no way i had bad luck with 3 of them in a row on pc ps4 and xbox. It's just ridiculous.

How often do you use it and does it still work? Can you still use the volume control on the console? I am interested in getting this controller but I wish to know more about it. I had gotten the PDP controller and i can't use my mic at all, it turned everything grey so can't even touch it.
I don't personally still use it but my friend says it still good.
Are we not going to talk about the fact the trigger vibration is horrible and seriously noisy. plus the fact if you have a turtle beach headset such as the stealth 600 gen 2 its not going to work with the controller which is very sad
So for vibrations I can't speak to this since I turn vibrations of. I don't like it. Noisy dosent bother me since I wear the stealth 600 as well and can't hear them while I am playing I do mentioned wireless headset's doesn't work with this controller in the video. Which I agree was a bummer. I tell people if you run wireless I would look else where. But this is turtle Beach first controller ever so I give them room to grow but I fill they did a great job but there is always room to grow. I appreciate the comment hope you stick around 🙂
Quick question if you own this controller... With every wired controller Ive come across the people in my party can hear a buzzing noise coming from my mic because I've got a wired headset and the wired controller picks up some static from the power cable. Does this controller have that same buzzing noise for the people in your party?
@@jannieduiwel3130 I'm unsure bud haven't tested it with a wired headset the controller feel and vibration alone was enough to make me put it down and never grace it with my touch again 🤣

I can't seem to get the pro aim to work at all, does it have a weird setup process like the button mapping?
So if you are in the mode set the sensitivity with the 4 dots like with everything else and all you have to do is hold it down wile ADS. Note that if you remap the buttons you can't have it set up with another button and pro aim at the same time. So make sure you set the controller to default for profiles. Under mapping mode
