@@dannydorko7075 Discovered the Roses '93, before i discovered Oasis with all The Beatles references. Stuff like Sally Cinnamon, Shoot You Down, Where Angels Play, Going Down reminiscent of Beatles' '62- '66, psychedelic stuff like Don't Stop, Simone etc like Tomorrow Never Knows. Mersey is like a sped up Here Comes The Sun : )
@MisterG I do and The Beatles are clearly the best band ever, nothing compares. However I will say this: the greatest album of songs ever made? Well, that accolade belongs to the Stone Roses. Their debut album is fucking perfect - untouchable.
I don't care about what they did after and I'm content - as are others - that they didn't give us much more of their music. They could have made a thousand albums and it still wouldn't have matched the first one.

@@matteoc3487 Not even close. Oasis came after The Stone Roses. By-the-way Liam and Noel both idolised the Roses. They would freely admit themselves that the Roses were better...far better. Not in the same league. As good as Oasis were in the early days, the Roses were one of a kind, original. Oasis were certainly not!

The lyrics for this song were originally written on my head , by frankis keeerburnburrum , a horse called angelo found them and returned them to there rightful owner , and now the song can be shared.

The 🍋 album is much better
No it’s not. I heard the Turns Into Stone compilation before the debut, and as far as feelings of pure, ecstatic joy go, it was just out of this world, this one of the best on it. When I heard the debut after, it never hit those same feelings on the whole. It’s different with individual songs...the ecstatic-ness is there, but there are also some lulls on the album that bring it down. But that’s just me personally. The songs on the debut are still awesome.
