My arcade cabs of choice were some vertical military shmup that I've never remembered the name of (wish I could find it again, I'd play it on Mame), which was in a laundromat. And a King of Fighters 94 at the entrance of a Diner I used to visit all the time. I burned through so many quarters on those two machines alone.

I mean, i'm with you, i've neither the room nor the money for any of these 1up cabinets (ive just got MAME on my PC), but i totally understand why people are buying them. It's comparable to buying vinyl (and an expensive turntable) vs just getting songs free via digital streaming...MUCH more expensive, but the experience is HUGELY enhanced.
@@HermannTheGreat These things seem pretty good, considering with the 'cocktail Pac-man' cab (with 8 Namco games, including Dig Dug and Galaga) and just one of the other cab you could have up to 11-12 games (like a mini arcade...but for only $900, which is a fraction of what only ONE authentic arcade cab costs). The quality (durability) won't be as high, but if you take care of it, you should get several years of enjoyment out of them.
@@RP_Williams Yeah, if I did get one or two it would be that 12 in 1 cabinet and TNMT, maybe a Simpsons in the far future if they release it. But either way, when the PS5/X5 will probably cost $500-600 new, just seems tough to put up $300-400 for one of these.

The jump is more tricky on thes one you have to hit the attack button at the right time to do the kick and most of the foot will be blocking there is more foot soldiers then the bigger cabinets so you have to have good timing
Nintendo is so behind on stuff TMNT fans really want. You'd think they'd release the 03 TMNT full series on DVD/bluray by now. But all they do is taunt us with 2 minute clips on facebook...

YES! It just baffles my mind how so many companies (no matter the product, from cars to food to video games) don't regard consumer feedback. Here's a shocker for you, customers will actually KEEP BUYING your product if you listen and give the quality they want! Arcade 1up has really got their sh%t together.
They still need to give people access to the dip switches/options on these games so we can adjust the difficulty, lives, etc. TMNT had several difficulty settings...if you had it on a higher difficulty, flaming debris would fall from the ceiling in the first level.
It should come with the removed Re-Shelled game from last gen that got pulled, along with Ubi's previous XB360 port of the 1st TMNT arcade game. It had some differences, even if they were crappy.
@@TexasHollowEarth the original arcade game port on xbox 360 was on point. There are even ports available on ps2, xbox and gamecube. They were unlockable features on turtles 2 and turtles 3, that were based on the remake cartoon from the early 2000s.

and this works in the Arcade1Up versions only. I tried doing this on MAME and it doesn't work at all this way for both games (TMNT's rom is based on the 4 player World rom while Turtles in Time is based on the 4 player US version which explains why it has the Winners Don't Use Drugs splash screen)
These are cool and all, but i don't recommend them for adults who want a long lasting cab. I was going to get the TMNT cab but it sold out and never came back in stock (luckily) look these are gorgeous to look at but NO WAY are you going to be putting any significant time into one without it falling apart. That and they're a little too small, the one i ordered is about 6" taller and wider and weighs about 40-50 lbs more so the cab doesn't feel flimsy at all. Yet i can still get it up/down a flight of stairs alone. I would look into recroommasters if you want a multicade that lasts for years with really solid controls and overall build quality. Unless you're one of those guys who can cut, sand, paint your own cab, that is...
You seriously didn't notice the altered theme song in the original Turtles arcade? For $400, that's quite a let down after the great track record of Arcade1UP.

This is a reference to the original TMNT cabinet where Konami of America used yellow for Michelangelo. in Turtles in Time though, his controls were orange as his ninja gear. And that's one thing i love about Arcade1up - they pay close attention to detail, including some of the original typos in the artwork (i.e. Balrog being named Barlog in Street Fighter II' Champion Edition's bezel and Haggar being named Hagger in the Final Fight bezel)
I've always thought that there was a TMNT 3: The Manhattan Project. There was definitely the version for the NES, but I thought that there was an arcade version of that game too. I think I vaguely remember seeing another TMNT game in the arcade besides the original TMNT and Turtles in Time. Maybe it was called by another name. Could somebody explain? Thanks!
I went to my ghost town post Rona virus Walmart today and they had this as a display model. It didn't work and most of the buttons were missing so I asked the store manager if I could buy it for $50 and the guy said............... no. Damn.

I really hope they put out a Simpson's 4 player cabinet as well as a Captain America and the Avengers one. Even more cool is if they could put out an X-men 6 player cabinet at some point.

There were like 5 or 6 of these available at my local Walmart the other day. I picked up the Mortal Kombat cabinet. It was the last one, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Everything about the machine is incredible. MK is the illest! ✨🔥🏆🤙🏼

I went to my ghost town post Rona virus Walmart today and they had this as a display model. It didn't work and most of the buttons were missing so I asked the store manager if I could buy it for $50 and the guy said............... no. Damn.

I really hope they put out a Simpson's 4 player cabinet as well as a Captain America and the Avengers one. Even more cool is if they could put out an X-men 6 player cabinet at some point.

I guess it just depends how much you played these games as a kid and your own personal taste but i own this cabinet and this was worth more than 350 dollars
I mean they all do... every youtuber i have seen review these things, gets them for free or is paid in some way. I think i saw one dude mention he bought it out of pocket and it was aight... good for kids, not adults.

don't blame the Phoenicians (yep, it's a cheap shot Spaceship Earth reference), i think the tweaking has to do with royalties since Chuck Lorre (years before he created Two and a Half Men) has the rights to the theme.

@@Pyangryong true, and the one thing people despise about Rise of the Ninja Turtles was the decision to replace Raphael's sai with Tonfas (which could've been a standards and practices decision), as well as the animation style
