🤣Depends. I once put some bubble gum scented oil drops in my toilet and boy, the smell was amazing!! I'd dare say delicious haha. But I get what you're saying. I never did it again, simply because i don't want to associate yummy food smells with anything that happens in the toilet.
I use those good smelling fabric softener balls as a air freshner around the house. Mix with hot water and spray away, on furniture, curtains...smells so so good😊
I've used them in the car as an awesome air freshener, I later discovered that I was getting HEADACHES from this. It's too strong for me, even though I loved the aroma; my brain did not. EDIT: Now I only use them as intended.
I now use vinegar as my fabric softener. In the dryer I use the wool dryer balls. The vinegar doesn’t leave a smell. To clean my toilet I prefer Pinesol. It’s got a fresh, clean scent.
Fabric softener usually works better and vinegar naturally doesnt do much in that area. Majority of the effect you get is probably from the wool balls.
The film from the downy is exactly why I quit using it in my high energy washer and also quit using the downy sheets in the dryer. It leaves a film in the drawer if the washing machine and clogged the drain holes to. It also made the dryer hose clog up. I wash the washing machine once a month and clean the dryer hose and vent once a week and it was a mess. Now that I don't use it my washer and dryer are not as messy. Glad you pointed that out. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day.
What if you some how put the scents beads in a nylon pouch and hang it in the toilet bowl not the tank (so it not sitting in water aka toilet tank) then when it flushes the water hits the scents beads and smells good with each flush and avoid the parts in the tank. Seems like that would be same as using them in the washer???
I would install a Water Softener System in the house to reduce the amount of minerals coming to your water lines and any other calcium deposits around tubs, sinks, shower heads, etc.
You are supposed to, but not that way. That does nothing to clean the toilet reservoir and can severely hurt your septic system. Never pour tons of detergent and cleaners down your drains. Your septic system has a natural eco system and too much harsh chemicals will throw that way out of whack and you get buildups and clogs, cause the septic bacteria that naturally cleans your septic gets destroyed.
ive never ever cleaned my tank and it looks really good. i wonder why yours looks like that, because i will freely admit your house is way cleaner than mine. there must be some logical reason.
Could be many reasons her toilet pipes could be old, maybe her toilet pipes aren't good quality so they're easily damaged or corrosive ( not sure if it's the right word). I think the bad quality pipes on toilets it's common nowadays sadly, but I think she could put some clorox toilet tank cleaner tablets & it'll help
Fabric Softener is soooooooo bad for the environment. Every time I see a commercial for it, or walk down that now perfumed laundry isle at the grocery store, I think of my drinking water, and how the local water companies have to try and remove those smelly products. Even if that water ends up being non-potable, the soil just cannot deal with cleaning that up. So yeah, fabric softener is the worst. Thank You for NOT recommending this practice.♡
Don't you use these products to do your laundry? What's the difference? I don't have a septic tank, I use city sewer, so do I have to worry about that?
How can I get my toilet cleaned under the tank without taking it off I've been looking more at my toilet the past few days since I found you and its nasty lol
I believe the clorox tank cleaner tablets can help you, I've never cleaned my neither I only use that & it's always looking clean but not sure if it depends on the water quality
Put Aluminum Foil in Your Washing Machine and Watch What Happens!! ✨ Here: ua-cam.com/video/mvwPFXmvBfA/v-deo.html
I’m not sure the word delicious goes with a toilet.
I agree. Fresh or clean would have been better words.
🤣🤣🤮🤣🤣🤣

Yes this does smell delicious
Yummy😂

I think its will work for a week, nice tip of the rinse/ fabulous
I put scent beads in my toilet tank but the smell only last two days or however many flushes it takes to drain the tank.
Andria has the Pumpkin colored nails going on for the holiday? Very cool. My ex girlfriend used to do that lol!!!
Thanks!
You're super informative. Think ill subscribe now. 😁
If it’s bad for the pipes it’s also bad to use in your washer???
I use off brand denture cleaner tablets in my toilet tank. I use 4 to 6 tablets. Let sit 20 minutes then flush.
Noone asked.
i’m going to try that
June bug thanks I’m try it
oh but it looked like it would clean it some too.i was wanting to try it.i liked those products that you drop in back of toilet.
Wonder if Castile soap would be harmful. Just a small piece on the tank?
I spray Lysol or air freshener in my toilet bowl
Thank you!!!! I love your videos!!! Keep going girl 💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you for the awesome tips
Good to know!!

She indicated that they have soft water so probably already done that.
I would only do this for holidays or events when I have guests.
Downy beads aren't fabric softener. They're scent boosters.
Thank you!
Hi Andrea. I just put a hotel soap in my toilet tank. Is it ok ?
No that's the worst thing you can put it in there other than gasoline.
Omg I had the same thoughts lol
Yes, please show the inside of the tank after the cleaning. I didn’t even know you were supposed to clean the inside of the tank.😱
It didn’t look any better lol 😋

Water quality. Where I live, the water is so hard it can hurt you. 😁
Hard water
She mentioned that she has soft water hmm 🤔
Probably poop a lot 💩

What if you have hard water?
Citric acid to clean the tank...
I've never cleaned a toilet tank, and never had a bad smell from the tank. Just doesn't float my boat. However, your tutorials are excellent.
That’s not a fabric softener though, it’s just scent beads. Can scent beads damage the toilet?
That was one of my questions. Lol
😱 Laundry detergent flushes wasted money down the drain.
Literally flushing money down the drain
Yep ✨
I mean I think it’s OK if the guest come over and you do this but if no one‘s over it’s kind of useless I guess
Vinegar works every time!!!! Just saying??
But what does that tank look like afterward???? You didn't show it. :-(
The same lol! Disgusting 😫
so what did the tank look like that’s what we were trying to clean correct what did it look like afterwards🤷🏻♀️

I use essential oils...poopouri.
Checkout counter : "so what do you do with all this detergent and softener?"
I literally flush it down the toilet
🤔
L😂L😂L😂L😂L😂L
What's the difference if it goes down the toilet and draining out your washer it still goes in your drain.........
can you put toilet bowl cleaner in the tank
Thank you. I couldn't see people really doing this?
It’s so weird!
Don't you use these products to do your laundry? What's the difference? I don't have a septic tank, I use city sewer, so do I have to worry about that?
So no alternative
I have a whole video on an alternative linked in the description 👍

@@dasuritorres7552 thank you I will try it
You lost me at, “yummy”. What a juvenile word.
