I just got mine. I am impressed! Strong and versatile. The initial build was straightforward and intuitive. After that, it is a very fast setup, pretty much a pull right out of the bag and set it down. The tarp extensions are everything I'd hoped they'd be, tall enough to stand in. While trying it out, I had no concern about stability or weight bearing limit. Solid construction. Thank you! Keep your green caps!

Dutch, if the stabilizer poles at the Port/Starboard were to have a push button "length" adjustment, then this would be a perfect stand for kayak river tripping, as river banks and islands require a bit of finagling. My Amok would fit perfectly, and because of the 90-degree weight distribution characteristics, the suspended weight does not favor either of the support legs. So, an length adjustable stabilizer pole would really enhance overall stability or uneven terrain. Perhaps an adjustable Stabilizer pole length option for Amok users might be of use. Drilling holes in the stabilizer pole would certainly void the warranty.

Thanks for this unboxing video, Dutch. My Turtle-bug arrives tomorrow from some place in Lancaster, PA 😉

This should fit perfectly in my motorcycle pannier. Looking forward to using this all the time.

Thanks to you and your crew for helping ship those TBs. Great unboxing video. I agree with you about the telescoping/button legs. I'm 72, have slight arthritis in my hands so (even though I luv my Cricket Stand) it was a little hard for me to put it together. The TB practically puts itself together.

😂 Oh dutch. As someone who also hates unboxing videos (show me the product, not the swanky way it got shipped) I loved the opening to your video. This is a really cool product.

Wife got hers 2 days ago and slept in it last night. Only gripe are the pins that hold the tarp extension poles she can't get em in so I'll get 2 hitch pins but it's really cool.

The more I look at it, the more I miss the Tato stand.

My tato cracked one of the legs at the top. I still haven't found a stand I'm in love with but if this one does the job then it's doing more than my tato is anymore. Agreed though, I'd prefer my tato with thicker walled pipes

I don’t have a choice but to look for trees as I mostly backpack and bikepack.
This is great for car camping out in the desert.

Thanks for the video! I would have never known that my shipment was supposed to have the tarp pole pins. It came without them.
I mentioned this on kickstarter and hope that yobogear sees it and sends me the missing tarp pole pins.
The hammock was also a disappointment because I ordered it based on the pictures showing it being a solid green color. The hammock I received has orange on it. Do you know who manufactured the hammocks?

I’m sorry to hear about the missing pins and color difference. You'll have to reach out to YOBOgear directly.

@dutch3323 I have done that. They are sending me the pins. I also understood that nothing could be done about the hammock. I will most likely sell the hammock. I will be purchasing a Dutchware Chameleon sometime in the future though.
