The walk across Richmond Park was lovely!!❤️ I've never been to Richmond Park, but my Mum and Dad used to go there a lot around the time they got married in 1960 and still lived in London. I have black and white pictures of them with their picnics near the shade of the trees on hot days and deer in the background. Even one brave baby deer came up close and they got a picture of it looking at them as if they were trespassing!😅 It doesn't look like anything has changed since that time... so peaceful too. I had no idea the Royal Ballet School was on the edge of Richmond Park... looks very grand! Thanks for another great walk... educational too!👏

I had a weird feeling watching your video. You see, I grew up in Richmond, never knowing that it was such a special place. My father owned a model steam engine shop in Sheen Road (Called Cherry's) and I went to school at the Vineyard Junior school (which you went close to). Then you went up the hill to Onslow Road, where my brother lived, up Queens Road, where I used to go scrumping (illegal nicking fruit from people's trees) in the gardens of a big house, with another brother when I was a small boy. In your video, I also saw the church at the top of King's Road (which still has King's House school further down, another school that I attended.) It was nice to see the back streets of Richmond instead of the flashier parts. Strange to think I last saw these places around 50 years ago and they are still quite the same, aside from the odd Tesla parked in the street!

Hello WW. Apologies I missed this premiere. Mum and I were actually at the National Flower Show at Hyland House near Chelmsford (first time) when I saw the notification for this come in. I then tried to post a comment right away to let you know I was out and about but my connection was quite sporadic. We were up this morning at 5am, left the house at 7am and were at the venue just south of Chelmsford at 830am ready for 9am opening. Anyhow, really sorry I missed this premiere and engaging in the live chat. Tomorrow Sunday I am home and will go on the stationary bike for about 70 mins, so I will be sure to catch up on your latest video then. Hope all is well with you. Btw you know that there is a suburb of Greater Vancouver also called Richmond. Sometimes referred to as Ditchmond as it's very flat, virtually at sea level and they say it would be the first piece of land to fall into the sea if a big earthquake were ever to hit Vancouver (and yes, it lies on an earth fault). Another interesting fact is that many folks like to live in Richmond as it sounds like Rich Man. Another interesting fact: Vancouver International Airport (or YVR as it's known by locals due to it's code) is also in Richmond, specifically, an area of Richmond called Sea Island. If you ever watch a tv program called Border Security Canada, Richmond and YVR airport feature heavily. You can search past episodes right here on YT.

Bdw can you do airport walks as well? Maybe Walking through the departure airport, then a bt of going in the plane, through the arrival airport? For some of us, normal things like that are like magic you know :)
Thanks Umanga, yes that constant plane noise might get annoying after a while! Airports are quite strict on filming, especially if I was trying to do a proper video and not just a quick video on my phone. All the best 😀
I live in Richmond and the planes are no problem. They take different approaches so not constantly flying over Richmond also Heathrow doesn’t allow 24 hr flights and to be honest when they do I hardly notice them Wouldn’t live anywhere else as this London borough has everything going for a great lifestyle.
