I Was There!
takes me back, saw them for the 1st time, by chance, at a tiny club in Ventura, CA. in early '94..
I was 5 when this happened. I discovered rancid 7 years after this at a cd tradepost
Menudo speed ke me llevan, muy buenos, ellos van bien finos.
6/9/1994 San Antonio Texas, US DMZ
Saw them at dmz. Small club. They did not seem happy when they pulled up in van. We couldn't believe they were at dmz! Bad ass liquor store next door sold 2 21 and up for us all the time. No drinking on inside. Many never went in just kept drinking. Went in and after a bit tims guitar string broke and my friend tried to loan him a guitar but they said no and left early. Violent was small club today I get it. Y'all should check out the gg show at DMZ to see what o mean. We almost flipped rancid van as they zipped out of there. Fuck6 yeah awesome night
GG @ DMZ 92 BADASS!!

I’m from San Antonio and that’s crazy to know!
Amazing how their stage presence has changed when looking at their live shows in the 2010s. I mean I know they're older now so can't move around as easily but it's just an interesting contrast to see
yeah but they suck si bad and their new albums are horrible btw they only have 3 good albums rancid go and out came the wolves then they just died out please tell me why
@@gambinonyc Music died and everyone stopped doing heroin.. Rancid, lets go, out come the wolves..i did enjoy life wont wait..their black album only had a few good songs...but i feel yur pain Brutha..

Playing roots radicals 2 years before and out come the wolves…and they didn’t change it one bit! Is the brad Logan pushing the guy off the stage?
going to see these guys in seattle real soon
My brother likes their song Radio introduce him to some punk such as The Exploited
This is just a punk rock show!
I need a fucking time machine......
Or you could go to a Rancid gig
hoboguru I've seen them....they were anazing. I'd just love to see them in the 90s
Do you Guys know bout that set list on that concert?
BLITZ!!
Tim's guitar isn't plugged in
It actually is plugged in. If you watch the first song, "Radio", you see Tim playing guitar during the clean parts (right before the final chorus).
I don't understand why Tim plays clean instead distorted
It gives a better texture to the guitar playing
Joe Strummer
Yeah, just a differnt dymanic
Before Tim decided to spraypaint his gretsch...
He didn’t get the Gretsch until 98-99.
Back when they both epiphone
@@anthonyrita4366 tim had a hagstrom no?
