Critic Review Summary- "Dustborn is a game with a lot going for it.. its strengths make it compelling. I came to care about Pax and her merry band the more I played, and that's reason enough to recommend it. It provides an enjoyable ride for those it resonates with."
That Japanese song that started playing with about 6 minutes left in the countdown... is that the same guy who sang Axel's theme "White Tiger" in the Disgaea games? It sure sounds like him.
That was "Hironobu Kageyama" he's performed a lot of DBZ songs, that one was the Budokai 2 opening "go for it". I'm not sure if he sang "white tiger" but I hope knowing his name can help answer your question.
@@ChitinChazz It's probably not him, after all. I couldn't find any connection with a quick search on UA-cam or Wikipedia. I wasn't familiar with Kageyama, but he appears to be a legend. There's likely a pretty big overlap between Disgaea fans and Kageyama fans, so it'd probably be common knowledge if he'd sung White Tiger. It'd be mentioned on his Wikipedia page, at least, I'm pretty sure. Thanks for the info, Chazz! I know you from Chronic's channel, but this Dustborn playthrough is what finally got me to check out your channel. I'm glad I did; this is a fun series to watch! I'm now subscribed.
I believe I've confirmed it wasn't Kageyama who sang White Tiger. It looks like it was Tenpei Sato, the main composer of all the music in Disgaea 2. Here's a link from that game that includes the credits; at 30:00 you can see that Sato performed the vocals for "The Dark Hero's Theme" (likely another title for White Tiger)... ua-cam.com/video/esfEjT0nq30/v-deo.html
