    I own this beauty for more than 2 years and almost every day i get compliments, weird looks (wtf is that), thumbs up etc while on the road or parking lots. The longest drive was 10 hours drive and i literally havent felt it at all. The car is so comfy that makes me feel sad and uncomfortable when i sit in someone else's car

      I been searching auto trader looking at these.
      Do these have fog lamps in the bumper???
      I like the look of the car BUT I’m not liking the front bumper! I prefer the Laguna hatch GT bumper but they have fog lamps so not sure how hard the swap would be

    I've had 2.0 150 bhp DCi Tom Tom model for 2.5 years. It's needed replacement brakes, tyre, battery, but it's been totally reliable and all the electrics work. There is a big if turbo-lag on setting off but overall it's a competent car and the boot area is impressive!

    I was lucky enough to pick up a 2011 2.0 DCi Tom Tom edition in silver a couple of months ago, from my local Renault dealer, with only 32k miles on the clock, for just over £5k. I'm very happy with it so far, although I can't work out how it's twice as much to insure than my previous car, which was an 08 2.2 petrol Alfa Romeo spider, which was worth twice as much as the Renault.

      Rear is amazing. Front is just normal as well as interior.

    What can you tell from my avatar? I bought my 2009 205GT brand new, now only 6 left in the UK, so ultra-rare! The only problems have been with tyre valves, so they're replaced every 5 years regardless. After the R11Turbo this is my favourite car of all my 50 years on the road. I have no plans to sell it any time soon!

      I have a 2012 205 GT, these petrol models are indeed very rare.

    Rear end is a 9/10, front is a 5/10, and the side profile is a 10/10 (imo)

    Biggest diapointment. Had a 09 plate in GT trim. AFter a couple of years the ECU died. Could not get it it fixed si had to be scrapped.

      oh damn that's too bad, i really really like this car it's actually very unique where i'm from and there's servicing available since it's a renault. i am very interested in buying it it suits everything i want but i am just so concerned about electronics, just like on your car. can you tell me your ownership experience beside the ECU?

      @@thebalkansnorlax5455 Hi, I loved my 2.0 180 BHP Laguna coupé GT. The economy was good, the power very good, interior ergonomics also good. There is a lot to like about this car. Even the 2.0 DCI was reliable. Plus is that it is chain driven so no need for a cambelt. swap. I'd love to own a Monaco GP.

    • @jonnyvt6602

      I had the 2010 Monaco GP, loved the car but the DCI engine was awful, slow, noisy and unreliable.

    Nice car, great for long transits, good perfs if needs be, good sound isolation. Great looks too, but after 160K km reliability starts to be an issue in many corners. 200k are pretty rare.

      Every car must be maintained at that millage. Breaks, shocks other stuf that wears out must be changed....turbo rebuilds, injectors checked ...it all depends how the car was servised. But those engines go to 350.000 km easy.

    • @davidbocquelet-dbodesign
      @davidbocquelet-dbodesign 4 місяці тому

      @@Archer28M The engine perhaps, but not electronics. This works for any model provided multiplexing was done right in the first place and forced obsolescence not pushed too hard. Mine had a fatal breakdown right after a technical control (a week later), antiblocking system down, 2000 euros to pay plus 2 months delays for parts... Already had many issues for the past two years. It spent a lot of time in repairs. I towed it to the scrapyard in the end. Now i run on mazda.
