Do you guys have a video on making the power adapter or the pin-out for the cluster for bench testing like this? was going to get some clusters on ebay to repair some things on mine but didnt want to have to disassemble/reassemble the car each time i wanted to test.

My cluster works great when it's cold, but as it warms up it starts to darken up from one side to the center of the screen. Is that the lcd screen going bad?

I think, that the type of the LCD on those is different. They changed it in 07 I guess.

We disassembled few of those back in a days - don’t recall anything particularly complicated with those. But it’s been few years back. Don’t recall the details.

Transformers on circuit board for the turbo models go out. Replace the transformers on turbo models not the display.

I can't buy the spare screen in my country but I have found a 955 GTS panel which looks exactly like mine. Before I purchase it, wanted to ask if you know that screen on 955 panel will fit my 957 panel? Please advise and thanks in advance

I never removed the needles in this cluster, so can’t help you with this question.
Thanks for the video. But I am still wondering why I can't find for Porsche cayenne turbo 2004 LCD repair kit. Is it available on the market?
For Turbo there are different problems with the cluster. Usually related to the high voltage transformers.

If that cluster goes out will the light of the gauges also go out and also my speed gauge isn't moving will that lcd screen have a part in all of that as well??
Spike Jones , no, your issue is not a part of the lcd screen problem. You have some other gremlins there.

I may be wrong, but the replacement of the whole cluster is not an easy plug-n-play. You will need to set up (program) anti-thief system on your replacement cluster, otherwise your car may not start at all.

Please see the description below the video. There is a link mentioned. Make sure you have monochrome display, and not full color LCD, otherwise our display won't fit.
Do you have cayenne turbo 955 lcd?
This isn't a "repair"; it is called a "replacement". You could also go that extra mile for your customer, and spend an extra 90-120 secs. cleaning the cluster's cover, and front and rear of the fascia (clear plexi) prior to reassembly. Fingerprint-free brand-new display now resides behind a filthy dash cluster lens.
As long as you watched the video and the commercials- that’s only thing that we are carry about :) Customers can clean their clusters themselves :)
