Embarassing for Jagex, indeed. I know many people that have been wrongfully banned for a variety of reasons (acc services, macroing/botting). Jagex needs to lay off the bans, stop the mods from continuously going on a power trip, and just let people play the game. Just monitor the high gold farm spots for bots... that's all that Jagex needs to do.

"Routine Checks" means the account should have been checked well into the past already. It's not a coincidence that 1 week after Oda alerted "Mod" Trident of his intentions to start his own legitimate DM CC (specifically noting Stella does this same thing). "Mod" Trident is likely considering Oda as a large competition to his woman and either he or she both wanted him gone.

I feel for you Oda. It's not even just these types of situations they're making like this. I've played OSRS since day ONE of classic. I had about 3 different accounts I had since classic that were just personal but sought after names. I don't find it to be a coincidence that until OSRS that I get a forced name change by Jagex for being reported for an offensive and inappropriate name - Keep in mind these are three very short names, one of them literally just being my REAL middle name, and the changes coming shortly after being offered to buy my name. You even have more impactful issues that effect the game that everyone on the leaderboard abused to get ahead or train accounts. AFK guthans training, used and abused to hell since Desert Treasure was released. Splashing being removed. These are things that saved hundreds and maybe thousands of hours in training, which in return is why people are even purchasing these services. Again, I've played since day one of CLASSIC Runescape. The most absurdly tedious and unfavorable time to level up, and still until recently Jagex has never nerfed and removed methods that players actively use to try and gain leverage to make the grind somewhat bearable. The game is dead to me. For the first time in over TWENTY years I've cancelled all of my long standing memberships. All of these accounts had grandfathered $5 memberships that I've had since sending Jagex literal envelopes of quarters I would scavenge or beg for as a kid - to getting my first bank account to mail in checks - and getting my first debit card to pay my memberships automatically. The entire premise of old school runescape was to bring back the time where players felt happiest about the game. For the first few years that's exactly what we got. Everything we loved, with the idea of that we would eventually get the newer content as well but making sure it stayed true to the roots of pre-evolution. Now a handful of players seem to get special treatment, decide the flow of the game, get to decide when methods they abused should now be removed to make it more difficult for players to compete with them, and a handful of players getting to live like a some weird pixel-bob king with jagex mods serving as their own personal simp gimps. ODA if you weren't so popular, I'd even suggest you do like defil3d did back in the day and make your own private server(Which just by the way, Jagex is willing to take profit sharing from but REFUSES to implement their own servers that have this kind of playstyle) and make a killing with a version of the game people would enjoy. Instead it's probably for the best you take your massive marketability to another game. I'm sure you'd be successful wherever you go.

Subscribed to Odablock. I used to be a hater but now I'm converted to a fan, because of how OSRS Reddit and Discord vehemently tried to block all and any mentions of Mod Trident or Odablock. They are seriously woke and fuck and becoming the CCP of China with the censorship. So I'm now a fan of Oda.
I feel the corruption is way deeper than that. I'm sure Jagex has a monopoly on the rwt blackmarket and uses mod trident to ban competitors/sellers only to turn around and sell it themselves. Think about it, they rarely ban people who buy gold and they shut down every other cc/discord that has the potential to build their own economy. By Oda saying that he was going to start his own cc, they took it as a threat which is why other mods got involved. Giving the heads up that he was going to have a influx of gp they saw a potential to kill two birds with one stone. They got rid of the threat to their monopoly and are getting a big payday from the backers rwting their money back. I like to think it goes deeper than the cringe that exists between stella and trident. Maybe it does some good like giving the developers that are trying to keep the game alive a bigger paycheck.
There's no other explanation for why bots can log 10000 kills of Vorkath or CG without getting banned. Jagex probably just sells gold from their own bots for extra income.

Wouldn't be hard to generate or even sell off such amounts since they have access to all the relevant metrics. Bots wouldn't be out of the question though either.
Jagex has had a corruption issue for a long time... When Mod Jed was working for Jagex a bunch of LiT members accounts were getting wrongly banned on 07 and DMM, as well as people getting DQed and DDOSed randomly during DMM, myself included. Hang in there Big O

If you really want to be disgusted look into ark survival evolved it was made by wildcard which got brought by snail games who's owner plays and leaked emails have come out about getting whole groups banned who have put in thousands of hours and are just better at the game then his group even when they cheats they also have the biggest Real World Money Trading store in the game through multiple discords i gave up on the game and came back to OSRS looking for that pure non cheating game sure their is some but no where near or atleast i thought anyway

You are right though, basic account sharing hasn't ever been a bannable offence and has been a pretty widespread thing over the years where the owner takes the risk of being hacked etc. The precedent is there for this to be investigated further based on J Mod corruption in the past. Most of the Jagex mods are just like corrupt police officers... constantly on a power trip, wrongfully banning people left and right for a variety of reasons (rwt, macroing/botting, services). The only thing they need to do is monitor the high gold farm spots for bots, and that's it.

A while back, I was a global mod/ staff member on a few RSPS's. We had a few cases of similar corruption... the mods who offended were investigated and BANNED IMMEDIATELY. If Jagex fails to act on this, that would tell me that their company is ran WORSE than a Runescape private server being run by unpaid and unskilled 14-year-old high school students. Even we knew back at that young age, these aren't things you want to brush under the rug. When someone in a position of trust damages the fabric of your community, you want to hang them up for all to see and show your valued community members that you stand with them.
I haven't watched a lot of your content, only the occasional clip here and there, so I can't speak as one of your community members. But I can speak as a fellow gamer and content creator who's sick of corruption and underhanded moves like this. For what it's worth, I hope you get everything resolved and justice is served. The Stella and Trident situation is just fucking insane. Realistically, Stella should be banned from Twitch and Trident should be removed from his position as well. One thing, though (I started playing OSRS like 1 month ago, so I might just not know how things go in OSRS), I find it weird that you can admit to doing something bannable and expect for your other accounts not to be banned. Like, in most games, it's not just your acc getting banned, it's you getting banned, basically. Which also makes sense. But then again, I feel like that's not really the case in OSRS, I suppose.

I am outside of the Oda community, I don't watch him, I've always found him kind of obnoxious, HOWEVER, I respect him, and I believe in justice. This- is not justice. This is absolute corruption, and it merits being brought to the attention of, and addressed by- the rest of the Jagex team. I think it's important to stress that a corrupt JMod does not equate to "Jagex are corrupt head to toe". There IS a discussion to be had around some of Jagex's practices (their approach, or lack thereof, towards banning gold farming RWTers and bots for example...), but let's not conflate the actions of ONE JMod with the beliefs and morals of the rest of the JMod team. You could argue that Jagex on the whole should be held responsible for any one of their individual JMod's actions, but that's as far as you can go I think, and I believe it's really important to acknowledge that in a scenario like this. This to me seems like one bad egg, Mod Jed style. Jagex need to launch an investigation and take appropriate action, I think in this case, beyond any shadow of a doubt, they need to give Trident the sack immediately because the evidence and favouritism is absolutely unequivocally obvious. So, even as an outsider to Oda's community, and even as someone who personally actually doesn't really like his content, I fking respect you man, and I stand with you in this shit. #iStandWithOda

They still chose to promote him.....I think this shows as a whole that Jagex itself isn't in good hands. The higher ups knew what was going on with Trident and still promoted him. Oda was extremely good at pking in a time where it was very interesting to pull off. Not many people are as good at pking in all styles like he is. Not only that but he’s incredibly consistent in his top tier pking skills, he has a huge community; which he engages with in a way no one else does/can pull off in such a way. Sure he can be toxic but that’s just part of it.. people love negative comedic situations an odablock stream can produce. It’s comparable to watching a car wreck on a video. Yes no one really likes necessarily what occurs in said wreck but we’re all drawn to the negative connotations associated with the entertainment value of a terrible situation. Same can be said with say fighting videos. It’s a little different but you get the point. Odas not always a screaming dickhead like you guys perceive.. you just haven’t even watched enough of his content to come to a complete, informed conclusion. This is just a video game streamer so it’s not ultra deep or anything but I will say.. I myself just really like high tier pking.. so any content creator that can pull off some of the stuff oda can.. they’ll easily gain my attention personally. People like Dino, Rhys, amenity, etc.. some people aren’t into that. That’s fine. But I think it’s that fact (some people don’t give a fuck about pking) and his toxicity that repel most. Though when you get through the layers he’s a pretty genuine person, most of you guys don’t even really know what you’re talking about.. just going off 3 minutes worth of clips. I’ve probably seen every single video he’s ever posted since he’s started but like I said I just like high tier pking.

Gave away like 200m appealed the ban and told him i was looking to help newer players only for trident to decline to investigate anything. Jagex needs to lay off the bans, stop the mods from continuously going on a power trip, and just let people play the game. "Routine Checks" means the account should have been checked well into the past already. It's not a coincidence that 1 week after Oda alerted "Mod" Trident of his intentions to start his own legitimate DM CC (specifically noting Stella does this same thing). "Mod" Trident is likely considering Oda as a large competition to his woman and either he or she both wanted him gone.
He broke the rules and they have proof. Targeted possibly, but it doesn't change TOS.

I feel for you Oda. It's not even just these types of situations they're making like this. I've played OSRS since day ONE of classic. I had about 3 different accounts I had since classic that were just personal but sought after names. I don't find it to be a coincidence that until OSRS that I get a forced name change by Jagex for being reported for an offensive and inappropriate name - Keep in mind these are three very short names, one of them literally just being my REAL middle name, and the changes coming shortly after being offered to buy my name.
You even have more impactful issues that effect the game that everyone on the leaderboard abused to get ahead or train accounts. AFK guthans training, used and abused to hell since Desert Treasure was released. Splashing being removed. These are things that saved hundreds and maybe thousands of hours in training, which in return is why people are even purchasing these services.
Again, I've played since day one of CLASSIC Runescape. The most absurdly tedious and unfavorable time to level up, and still until recently Jagex has never nerfed and removed methods that players actively use to try and gain leverage to make the grind somewhat bearable.
The game is dead to me. For the first time in over TWENTY years I've cancelled all of my long standing memberships. All of these accounts had grandfathered $5 memberships that I've had since sending Jagex literal envelopes of quarters I would scavenge or beg for as a kid - to getting my first bank account to mail in checks - and getting my first debit card to pay my memberships automatically.
The entire premise of old school runescape was to bring back the time where players felt happiest about the game. For the first few years that's exactly what we got. Everything we loved, with the idea of that we would eventually get the newer content as well but making sure it stayed true to the roots of pre-evolution. Now a handful of players seem to get special treatment, decide the flow of the game, get to decide when methods they abused should now be removed to make it more difficult for players to compete with them, and a handful of players getting to live like a some weird pixel-bob king with jagex mods serving as their own personal simp gimps.
ODA if you weren't so popular, I'd even suggest you do like defil3d did back in the day and make your own private server(Which just by the way, Jagex is willing to take profit sharing from but REFUSES to implement their own servers that have this kind of playstyle) and make a killing with a version of the game people would enjoy. Instead it's probably for the best you take your massive marketability to another game. I'm sure you'd be successful wherever you go.

I feel the corruption is way deeper than that. I'm sure Jagex has a monopoly on the rwt blackmarket and uses mod trident to ban competitors/sellers only to turn around and sell it themselves. Think about it, they rarely ban people who buy gold and they shut down every other cc/discord that has the potential to build their own economy. By Oda saying that he was going to start his own cc, they took it as a threat which is why other mods got involved. Giving the heads up that he was going to have a influx of gp they saw a potential to kill two birds with one stone. They got rid of the threat to their monopoly and are getting a big payday from the backers rwting their money back. I like to think it goes deeper than the cringe that exists between stella and trident. Maybe it does some good like giving the developers that are trying to keep the game alive a bigger paycheck.
There's no other explanation for why bots can log 10000 kills of Vorkath or CG without getting banned. Jagex probably just sells gold from their own bots for extra income.

If you really want to be disgusted look into ark survival evolved it was made by wildcard which got brought by snail games who's owner plays and leaked emails have come out about getting whole groups banned who have put in thousands of hours and are just better at the game then his group even when they cheats they also have the biggest Real World Money Trading store in the game through multiple discords i gave up on the game and came back to OSRS looking for that pure non cheating game sure their is some but no where near or atleast i thought anyway

You are right though, basic account sharing hasn't ever been a bannable offence and has been a pretty widespread thing over the years where the owner takes the risk of being hacked etc.
The precedent is there for this to be investigated further based on J Mod corruption in the past. It's crazy how many instances there are throughout the years of J mods doing downright stupid things. This incident just adds to the list.

Most of the Jagex mods are just like corrupt police officers... constantly on a power trip, wrongfully banning people left and right for a variety of reasons (rwt, macroing/botting, services). The only thing they need to do is monitor the high gold farm spots for bots, and that's it.
Streamers should be standing up with you. It will be despicable if the influencers in the community don’t come together for you. What’s to stop Jagex abusing their power and eventually coming after them.
A while back, I was a global mod/ staff member on a few RSPS's. We had a few cases of similar corruption... the mods who offended were investigated and BANNED IMMEDIATELY. If Jagex fails to act on this, that would tell me that their company is ran WORSE than a Runescape private server being run by unpaid and unskilled 14-year-old high school students.
Even we knew back at that young age, these aren't things you want to brush under the rug. When someone in a position of trust damages the fabric of your community, you want to hang them up for all to see and show your valued community members that you stand with them.
I haven't watched a lot of your content, only the occasional clip here and there, so I can't speak as one of your community members. But I can speak as a fellow gamer and content creator who's sick of corruption and underhanded moves like this. For what it's worth, I hope you get everything resolved and justice is served. The best I can do for you is leave this comment and Like your video so the algorithm Gods can take over. Best of luck man, I truly hope it all works out.

The Stella and Trident situation is just fucking insane. Realistically, Stella should be banned from Twitch and Trident should be removed from his position as well.
One thing, though (I started playing OSRS like 1 month ago, so I might just not know how things go in OSRS), I find it weird that you can admit to doing something bannable and expect for your other accounts not to be banned. Like, in most games, it's not just your acc getting banned, it's you getting banned, basically. Which also makes sense. But then again, I feel like that's not really the case in OSRS, I suppose.
If they IP banned him, they would lose his free advertisment as he would not continue to make OSRS videos

I am outside of the Oda community, I don't watch him, I've always found him kind of obnoxious, HOWEVER, I respect him, and I believe in justice. This- is not justice. This is absolute corruption, and it merits being brought to the attention of, and addressed by- the rest of the Jagex team. I think it's important to stress that a corrupt JMod does not equate to "Jagex are corrupt head to toe". There IS a discussion to be had around some of Jagex's practices (their approach, or lack thereof, towards banning gold farming RWTers and bots for example...), but let's not conflate the actions of ONE JMod with the beliefs and morals of the rest of the JMod team. You could argue that Jagex on the whole should be held responsible for any one of their individual JMod's actions, but that's as far as you can go I think, and I believe it's really important to acknowledge that in a scenario like this.
This to me seems like one bad egg, Mod Jed style. Jagex need to launch an investigation and take appropriate action, I think in this case, beyond any shadow of a doubt, they need to give Trident the sack immediately because the evidence and favouritism is absolutely unequivocally obvious.
So, even as an outsider to Oda's community, and even as someone who personally actually doesn't really like his content, I fking respect you man, and I stand with you in this shit. #iStandWithOda

Oda was extremely good at pking in a time where it was very interesting to pull off. Not many people are as good at pking in all styles like he is. Not only that but he’s incredibly consistent in his top tier pking skills, he has a huge community; which he engages with in a way no one else does/can pull off in such a way. Sure he can be toxic but that’s just part of it.. people love negative comedic situations an odablock stream can produce. It’s comparable to watching a car wreck on a video. Yes no one really likes necessarily what occurs in said wreck but we’re all drawn to the negative connotations associated with the entertainment value of a terrible situation. Same can be said with say fighting videos. It’s a little different but you get the point. Odas not always a screaming dickhead like you guys perceive.. you just haven’t even watched enough of his content to come to a complete, informed conclusion. This is just a video game streamer so it’s not ultra deep or anything but I will say.. I myself just really like high tier pking.. so any content creator that can pull off some of the stuff oda can.. they’ll easily gain my attention personally. People like Dino, Rhys, amenity, etc.. some people aren’t into that. That’s fine. But I think it’s that fact (some people don’t give a fuck about pking) and his toxicity that repel most. Trident banned and removed my wealth couple months ago for going into f2p and giving out free shit. Gave away like 200m appealed the ban and told him i was looking to help newer players only for trident to decline to investigate anything. I’ve lost my cash stack and haven’t played since fuck mod trident
