1:22 says the alien who steals from and terrorizes the family and community. Total hypocrite, and lets not forget how you got jeff abducted by aliens. I understand klaus being a hypocrite because he's a fish what can he do?
Ya know, they COULD just tell Jeff to get a job. It’s that simple. He actually tries to be responsible when people want him to and does a good job when it happens.
That's where I'm surprised Stan didn't try to capitalize on that...Well, ASIDE from their failed Coffee stand business. (Edit): I JUST now remembered the episode where he got Jeff to "Flip-a-House"
I STILL prefer “nutrigrain bar and a Mountain Dew” 😂😂….steve: sorry everyone hated your song they took the door off its frame it’s half way into the parking lot 😂💀⚰️
Klaus has had a few jobs throughout the series despite having the body of a fish. He has been a tax accountant, a lunch lady, and a lineman for the county
The C.I.A kidnapped Klaus and swapped his mind with a goldfish and left his body to drown just because they didn't want Germany to win a ski game. And Stan keeps him around just to belittle and bullies him for being a fish. Roger mooch because Francine allows him to because she naively pity him
I like Stan and Francine being angry over Jeff's antics and flaming up as a result, and I like how they went with the 1930's and 1940's style for that song it did capture those times. And it does appear that Francine does agree with Stan and does get as frustrated with Jeff as he does, I could tell.
To all that call out Roger’s hypocrisy; you are in the right. Although, the difference is that Jeff is upbeat and friendly and most of all a pushover, so there’s no real drawback from pushing him around and possibly driving him away other than Hayley leaving(I say that cuz if she does anything that jeopardizes the family and the attic Roger will step in), Roger however is a psychopath with two big drawbacks to expressing their distaste in his mooching. One, it’s literally part of his physical anatomy to be a giant douche and let it out or he’ll die, and two, risking driving Roger away means he could have his cover blown and they’ll punish the family for treason if he’s traced back to them. More or less Jeff is singled out cuz he’s got no other reason to be a mooch unlike the alien they have to put up with even though both are “family”.
You know at the rate we're going future generations won't understand why it's a problem that Haley and Jeff live at home. As it stands because of a crazy ass housing prices and rent and low pay I think a little over a half of Gen z can't afford their own places
Remember: Klaus’ VA shares the same voice actor of Captain Rex, Carnage, Numbuh 4, Perry The Platypus, Ra’s Al Ghul, Squiliam Fancyson, and General Raam.
I guess everyone forgot how Roger is his own boss so pays himself with what the Smiths give him, and Klaus can get a job but won't. I wonder if I'm allowed to say that since the AD Superfan gets annoyed when people point out that stuff. 😂
Last I remember, Jeff works a minimum wage fast food job -- in fact, Haley works one of those jobs too, right? If they're both working and bringing in money, why haven't they found a separate place to live by now? If you ask me, I think _both_ of them are moochers...
Jeff IS a mooch LMAO Stan, Roger and Haley all have jobs and thus provide income. Steve is a child and Klaus is a pet, they’re not expected to contribute anything. Francine is the homemaker, she keeps everyone else locked down. What exactly is Jeff providing?
Let’s not forget Jeff took every single drop of syrup when Stan asked for the syrup bottle.
Yup. Never gonna live that down Jeffy boy
I was about to mention that.
The funny part is Jeff actually had a job back then.
I think about this way more than I should. He literally took EVERY DROP BEFORE GIVING IT TO HIM
“HE TOOK ALL THE SYRUP. I ASKED FOR IT AND HE TOOK ALL OF IT. I WORK HARD, WHY DO I HAVE TO SHARE WITH THESE FUCKERS?”
A spot-on parody of Betty Boop's "Minnie the Moocher" cartoon is just what I needed today.
Cab Calloway sang it on Betty boop waaaay back in the 30s

Knowing Roger, they've probably had this planned and coached Klaus extensively.
the use of Rubberhose animation style in the song was neat

Lmao yes! He did Jeff dirty that time. Honestly Haley has every right to hate Roger 😅
He can make people suffer. Like making Steve and Roger wait on hold to return a product they bought with someone else's credit card
Roger at least pats for his own stuff I guess.
Ya know, they COULD just tell Jeff to get a job. It’s that simple. He actually tries to be responsible when people want him to and does a good job when it happens.
That's because Jeff is the family's new whipping boy. They will find any excuse to torment him.
He's actually had a couple jobs here and there, so yeah, he could if they wanted him to.
Nah, Hayley always likes to defend him and ends up being a doormat.
@@sammyboy658 he’ll still use up all the syrup when you ask for some though.

there are still new episodes of this show?
@@JadeiteMcSwagYes, on TBS.
While Roger’s other personas/disguises are more/less capable of getting money, he still isn’t one to talk on Jeff being a mooch.
Roger does keep the Smiths' life interesting.
Well, yeah. But in Roger's defense: he's an alien, could you really blame him?
Klaus performance was incredible.
They went all out in this rubber hose tribute!
Jeff lets the family use his van all the time he’s taken multiple jobs saved Stan from getting killed by Santa or the Willy wonka parody
In real life there’s no way Stan would have let Jeff and Hayley live in his house without paying rent.
Literally everyone in this family has their own problems lol it just depends on the episode whether or not they care
A Minnie the moocher parody wasn’t on my American Dad bingo card this year, but here we are.
Ever since King Dice came along with Cuphead, more and more people are recognizing Cab Calloway again. 🙂
Everyone here sayin Minnie-The-Moocher, I'm sayin The Cuphead Show
Which definitely took inspiration from Minnie-The-Moocher

1.5x is the best
This song is a banger! The sea bunny goes wild!
Modern family guy can't afford fluid animation, but American dad can
Family Guy is unfixable. The characters are horrible.
Jeff used to have a job…
Working in a chicken fast food restaurant, oh, right, he got fired when he was in space, so now he’s a stay at home husband
Yes, but he earned the minimum wage and did not contribute anything to the house because hayley and him were saving for moving out
They weren't planning to move out
Yeah, they were clearly just using whatever they were making on gas for his van and drugs
After what Jeff's been through they owe him
Have to admit this is fantastically superbly well done
The Blues Brothers, Minnie the Moocher.

I read the description about Klaus’ feelings towards Jeff
And I agree with Klaus
A separate note I like Stan and Francine’s relationship they’re an actual believable couple unlike most other adult animated families

Klaus is kind of killing it here
Dee must have had everyone laughing and dancing while he sang this...he made Cab very proud.

Jeff and the others had to be struggling not to laugh especially when Dee as Klaus started doing Cab's scat singing.
