Wow. So many awesome techniques for quality and time saving! I am a beginning wood worker with an interest in electric guitar/bass making and this is so helpful. Its also cool to see that, in total, there are only a few essential tools that I am fortunate enough to be able to eventually save up for some.
I agree, you definitely don't need every tool under the sun to make a guitar! Good luck on your guitar making journey, I'd be interested to see what you come up with!

Newbie novice question but what’s the purpose of bookending the body with two pieces instead of just using a single piece?

I like to use screws in the pickup and neck pocket areas to align AND clamp. Works a treat.
