Could have been. Put out lackluster effort at times and nearly got beaten by a much inferior Serbian team. These are the greatest athletes in the world, but NBA players only play defense when they want to. Too many wide-open shots and easy baskets. Having to come from 17 points behind to win against a team with far less talent is embarrassing. Yes, they won but they shouldn't be proud of what they accomplished. They were supposed to win.
nope this 2024 USA team has been very very disappointing Olympics to say the least...this will be the first time we don't win the most Gold medals...China does....overall we win more medals that is because we have more athletes. In basketball we are great but overall not as good as China
It wouldn’t have been the first time we don’t win the most golds. Google is your friend. It ended in a tie; giving us the overall lead. There was no disappointment. We regained dominance in track and got more Golds than last year. China just does well in Sports that nobody cares about in the US.
