This is one of my favourite songs of Angelina. One of the reactors complained that it's to slow. That is the whole point that she missed. The slowness give the real feeling and understanding of the song and gives it that haunting feeling. It's a master piece.

Such simple piano notes and that voice, that's all she needs. 12 years old and mesmerizing. I read that after this she ran out to play on the swings with her sister. Just a kid. A beautiful, beautiful kid, that we give thanks for. She also plays piano on Hello, she was 9.
There is only one Angelina, my favorite singer, she is real, no games, just pure unadulterated music and her love of it. Her God given talent will be shared with the world just like she has wanted since stating it on NGT. Angelina has brought me back to music after being missing for years. Truly a voice for the ages. I've listened to this song many times, but I didn't really feel and understand it until I heard Angelina. The power she has! How can this be?

Great reaction. I have never heard anyone portray desperate obsession in a vocal better than this 12 year old. It is uncanny how she can do that. I heard someone that knows her say once that when she did this song, she just sat down and decided to play around with this song, and this was the result. Amazing young lady.
"Playing around" with a song can only produce this masterpiece when the creator possesses the arsenal of vocal abilities Angelina has developed and knows how to weave into such a piece.
The Musical Genius Angelina Jordan took a Poignant song and added the heavy Melancholy it needed , she doesn't cover songs she reveals them !!!
There isn’t anyone else that moves me like Angelina’s vocal artistry does and her piano playing is nothing short of haunting. Brilliant!!!

Outstanding reaction to a magical performance by our barefoot angel. I agree with you, and believe that she will successfully achieve the super stardom status that she alluded to at age 7, as she was preparing to enter the NGT stage, and blow the world away with her rendition of Gloomy Sunday. She is a once in a lifetime, God given talent, with the humility and humanity to impact the world with her music as few others ever have. I believe that she is on a journey with the inner sense and confidence to define and dictate the way her music will evolve and be shared with the world. Keep those reactions coming, you are a joy to watch and listen to.
She gives me a real dilemma with this one. When I close my eyes I am transported to a place somewhere beautiful and peaceful. But.......I love to watch her ply her trade and create her magic.
Someone mentioned that her Mom was crying backstage at her first NGT performance because it was at that moment she realized she had lost her daughter to the world. Don't have any idea if that holds any truth but for me, thank you Sarah and thank you to the entire Astar family. Your little girl is a wonderful gift. May God always guide and protect her and your whole family.

This performance was a masterwork by the most profoundly gifted young musician that I have ever encountered. When Angelina sings I always listen to the lyrics instead of just the melody. I feel her draw me in and caress my heart and soul unlike any other I have ever listened to. Listening to this angel sing is a spiritual experience.
Thank you for featuring this version of "Wicked Game". This is the best video I have seen where the graphics match the emotions of the song. Sune Amtoft who produced this video is a graphic artist and deserves the praise of us all. As Angelina's performance is a masterpiece, so is Sune's video.
Angelina's interpretation of this song of obsession leapt to the top of my favourites immediately I heard it and, so far, nothing has surpassed it, although several are battling for second place.
I have no idea how she does it, but her whole countenance is one of sadness, as her voice conveys a sense of utter desolation, of loss and abandonment, with no hope of reconciliation. That one so young should even know how to do this is very bewildering. Another outstanding feature of this performance is her deliberate introduction of what one Reactor calls "negative space". This leaves me aching to hear what comes next.
Although I have watched and listened to this video many, many times it wasn't until today that I realised the symbolism of the waves washing away the heart until at the very end it cannot be seen. As a heart is a symbol of love, so the deliberate destruction of one is the abandonment of the one loved.
Angelina is one of a kind 👍 We are so blessed to have her here with us in this generation ❤ And now that i have followed your journey, i want to say, I like your Angelina journey, and always look forward to a new video from you.

@@genevapriest6190, I think that is possible. Another singer in the Republic Records roster, Taylor Swift, has fought some battles for the more fair treatment of artists, and she has won. She is one tough woman. If she enlists Angelina they could shake the world. They would make a formidable team.

the other day, I was laughing out loud, when I made "acquainted" (as you said the first time) a friend of mine to Angelina Jordan. I started her with "Born to die", "Stay", "A million years ago", "Young and beautiful" and "I'm still holding out for you."
After that, her reaction was what made me laugh...She was simply pissed off
"How!" she told me "How is it possible…she’s only a child… How is she able to play with my soul like that?" then she shouts at me "She's 400 years old or what !?"
I was still laughing when I simply answered "Yep”.

Thank you. I'm so pleased that you are continuing on your Angelina journey. This is so beautiful. In my biased opinion, nobody can sing this song like Chris Isaak, but Angelina's interpretation still astonishes me, even after several times listening to it. I love it more every time I hear it. Her melancholy approach really does justice to the meaning of the original and enhances it. The depth of feeling she brings to everything she sings tells us a lot about her beautiful soul and touches our own.

Humans, in general, are not very good at achieving perfection..but here, Angelina comes pretty close.
Always good, Hap!! I think we will all be fine with Angelina's choices. We can always be worried about that which we don't like/want, but I never even consider it. All her choices have worked for me. I expect that to continue. This song is amazing in its expression of obsession. Love, pain, regret are open and direct. Also, thanks to the fan for this video. The one with pictures of young, cute, Angelina undermines the intensity of the emotions. I usually have closed my eyes. Wow! is right. Keep it up. Still loving this journey.
She sings song that are very difficult , and I can tell these would not be easy songs to sing, she always sings effortlessly
bravo, that was a really good speech man. I agree with everything you said. And I'm always moved when people from various countries get to truly acknowledge Angelina's talent. I hope so too that Angelina will be able to captivate more people with her upcoming album, which hopefully will be a product of her passion and her own style. I'm tired of autotune, electronic sounds and rap, therefore a fresh, new style would gladly be welcomed, and in my opinion AJ got the conditions to pull off something that's unique. Now, AJ aside, I gotta give credits to hap3speakz for the big effort of doing so many AJ reactions, this is probably the channel with the most AJ reactions on it, and by reaction I mean reaction AND discussion content. Some other youtubers just listen to a song and say "amazing", finished. But at least there's some interaction on hap3speakz' channel. I very much enjoy this content, and I also appreciate his approach to follow AJ's path from the start of her career to where she stands now, nice idea, nice playlist.

I know her age is impressive, but this song (and the others) would be remarkable for someone of any age. It's a painful song and as usual her voice captures all that pain. She's never afraid to go slow. To let us feel each moment. Good to be on this journey with you.

Amazing is her knowledge of vocal techniques, when to use them and their effects on her listeners.
The vocals in the original are incredible, and nobody can replicate them properly. But Angelina sings the song with the right tempo. A lot sadder than the original, matching the lyrics.
For me this is the divining version of this song now, beautiful haunting vocals 💯 brill reaction as always 💯👌👍

@@milenivanov5436 All of the music fans that are going "GA GA" over Daneliya, saying she is the greatest singer they have ever heard in their life must be the type of young kids that like Taylor Swift and lady GAGA type music. Yes she has a great voice, and has "stage presence", but she is just another pop star wanna be, whereas Angelina has a voice that once you hear it you are a hooked for life. Her voice does not need stage presence. She could sit on a stool and sing just like Andy Williams, or Perry Como, back in the 60's and 70's when they had their own tv show. She could bring back Jazz Her fan base has untold thousands of adults in their 30's clear up to the late 80's. Name me one other young singer age 12/14 that has that great a an base. She is destined for greatness. Her name will go down in music history archives as one off the all time great Jazz singers.
Her renditions of songs is incredible, far better than The original artists. Love her own songs she has recorded, she's special 💕
What a Stunningly Beautiful video by Sune Amtoft; his tribute to Angelina and this terrific song. I've heard this song covered many, many times since Chris Isaak wrote and released it in the 80's. For me, this is the best it has EVER been done. I interpret the song as someone fearing falling into unrequited love. Angelina's use of negative space enhances the obsessive nature of this out of control feeling. She knows how to slow it down and allow the feelings to pull you in. Her restraint is simply incredible. I don't know how a young girl can convey these very deep emotions like she does. Well, that's just one of the things that makes her so incredible; and so mystifying. As always, thanks Hap for all you have done for Angelina and her fans. 😊💕

Hi, I think you say it like it is , your reactions are honest especially with AJ you have done a marvelous job following her journey from 8yr old till now, I know a couple of people on y tube that said this song she sang was to slow it puts you to sleep, it's supposed to be a relaxing music she did a wonderful and soothing voice for us to listen when we want to wind down. Wicked Games is really surprising for a girl her age. It is so, real, painful....tragic...can’t think of the right words....but it is one of her top songs for me. It is also so hypnotic. You could play it, alone, in a dark room, drinking beer or wine and just spacing out to this song and unwind. It also would be a good song to unwind to and go to sleep to...if it doesn’t give you nightmares!
BTW...You without the mustache, looks so much younger and better looking. Your too good looking to cover your face with hair.

This will blow your socks off.....Yet another Angelina! Some have said that if this were to get released..published..she might even get an award for it. I think that she may have been 11 or 12.... The song was never released because it referenced suicide and Angelina’s family didn’t want to have her associated with a song with that in it being played with her singing it. (So many think that it would have bee a major hit). So if you please consider this song for one of your next if not the next one.
