I was listening to one of your podcast where you talked about three things you will always continue in your life and one of them was taking therapy, I am going through a breakup and stuck in between career choices, I started taking therapy and its amazing. The best answer that really changed the way I see certain things and has affected me in a positive manner was(i think ep 3 or 4) When you said that being good in talking to people is a skill that we can learn like learning a guitar or an instrument. I being an introvert myself really faced this problem almost daily but now when i remember what you said, I realise that I can also be pretty good at making a conversation when the situation requires, and I don't have to constraint myself. and you even gave example pf some study on comedians and how they can perform really well on stage and be totally different off stage. And you replied that , this people get alot of attention, so they get to pinpoint the most silly thing and felt annoyed by it. That's really helped me to understand most men and women around me. 3- The one question about men and women studying in seprate schools with no co education. And how they struggle to make a conversation with someone they meet. As we don't have any past life experiences in making such conversation. This helped to understand myself and realise that it's okay, if I don't make a charming or so cool conversation. 4- The way you talked about sitcom Seinfeld and how it made you feel. I tried Seinfeld and laughed my guts out... It's such great entertaining show... And I can see most of the other sitcoms comes from the inspiration of Seinfeld.. Thank you so much for recommending it man.... The best sitcom I watched in this lockdown. And importantly man... I feel peace when hearing your voice... There’s one thing that’s always bothered me so I’m hoping you pick this question for your next “podcast”. I have a desire to do something good in the world, whether it’s donating to existing causes, adopting a child, spreading awareness, etc. But every time I think about wanting to start something, I get overwhelmed by the amount of s**t that needs fixing in this world, and then inevitably do nothing. I know the first step is to just start, but how do you manage to not get depressed by the trajectory of self-destruction this world is on? Keep going.🐥 Regarding that homework you gave,here I am writing that one question and the answer which really made me realize one major thing in life. Obviously I don't remember what it was exactl but here, it was something like : Someone asked that their partner doesn't help them cope up with anxiety or something like that. And that one line from your answer is stuck in my head which was, "Your partner isn't your therapist." Most of the times we expect so much from our friends, family or partners to understand our mental well being and we forget that they may have their issues too.. or how they may not be having the nourishing space. Where ever I start getting that vibe of "view of halfway down" episode of BH .. and I start expecting someone to help me overcome the anxious thoughts, now I start to think in the direction of being kind to them and try hard to think of all the good memories and little acts of love they have shared to me. 7.31 : The episode where you said ppl don't usually need advice they just want to express what they are going through. I took that advice tooo seriously earlier when anyone use to talk about their feelings I always tried to relate even if i couldn't but after that episode I am trying to be a good listener but now the problem is there are weird awkward pauses because they expect something from my side, also when I am just listening I sometimes zoneout.
I watch this, 10% for entertainment, and the rest 95% for learning how to do a podcast from the man who conquers the viewers minds right from the thumbnail onwards... 😅😃

I have a desire to do something good in the world, whether it’s donating to existing causes, adopting a child, spreading awareness, etc. But every time I think about wanting to start something, I get overwhelmed by the amount of s**t that needs fixing in this world, and then inevitably do nothing. I know the first step is to just start, but how do you manage to not get depressed by the trajectory of self-destruction this world is on? Regarding that homework you gave,here I am writing that one question and the answer which really made me realize one major thing in life. Obviously I don't remember what it was exactl but here, it was something like :
Someone asked that their partner doesn't help them cope up with anxiety or something like that. And that one line from your answer is stuck in my head which was,
"Your partner isn't your therapist."
Most of the times we expect so much from our friends, family or partners to understand our mental well being and we forget that they may have their issues too.. or how they may not be having the nourishing space.
Where ever I start getting that vibe of "view of halfway down" episode of BH .. and I start expecting someone to help me overcome the anxious thoughts, now I start to think in the direction of being kind to them and try hard to think of all the good memories and little acts of love they have shared to me.

I took that advice tooo seriously earlier when anyone use to talk about their feelings I always tried to relate even if i couldn't but after that episode I am trying to be a good listener but now the problem is there are weird awkward pauses because they expect something from my side, also when I am just listening I sometimes zoneout.
