@@CaliMotoTV Yup I traded my 2017 Rocket 3 Roadster after I test road the R 3. I do miss my tank range but this bike is more powerful and more attractive!
OUTSTANDING.....I've been to a dealership to see the bike. Nobody could give me a proper demonstration on the instrument module. Thank you for doing such a great job.
Very informative video. Thanks. Since you road tested both, do the pegs meet the asphalt easily on the GT? Is it significantly more difficult to do so on the R? I would consider the best combination to be a GT with the R's peg position.
Seems like it's kind of complex. I'm not one to change settings and play with all of the display settings. I'm sure I'd take some time to learn it. I didn't see you playing with the bluetooth interface features. Do they only work with a bluetooth style helmet?
I like it but I'm not sure why they designed the cluster this way. As it's a TFT display why not a simple 7, 8, inch panel instead of the plastic circle thing splitting the display into sections. I'm not sure why. you could have all the same display without the plastic circle. Design choice sure but it must cost a lot more to make!
@@CaliMotoTV Yes, see page 58 of the owners manual. “To adjust the instrument panel: • Using the lever, move the instrument panel to allow an unobstructed view of the display screen. Note: Moderate force using the thumb and finger is required to adjust the position of the instrument panel.”
Great and informative video on cluster - but where is the Bluetooth option ? Allot of idiosyncrasies in the Bluetooth that would be very helpful to us Rocket 3 owners and save time on set up which is not intuitive [ e.g. if you have a Bluetooth enabled helmet you pair it with the Rocket 3 Bluetooth add-on module ( added at dealer for approx 250 ) - not with your smart phone ] - the Smart phone is paired directly with the Bluetooth when added to the cluster and there is a two-step pairing - fist for the phone and then for the navigation on the Triumph APP [ downloaded at App Store etc. )
Alot of it you simply don't need. But , more importantly, it's totally useless in the sun, you simply cannot see anything displayed, regardless of contrast setting, and, if the sun catches it directly, you're dazzled ☹️☹️☹️ The position adjustment is useless too, it's only a few mm.
Probably it's worth more each penny than a Harley Fat Boy.... This is my doubt...Rocket 3GT or the Fat Boy. Yeah I know it's so different bike, the question is which gives you more for the money you spend in such bike. If I had enough pennies I buy both that's so sure. I don't know. Probably I will test each . What's your opinion?
I actually have both. I prefer the 3GT over the Fat Boy ( obviously ). But I enjoy them both immensely. But I do like to ride the Fat Boy when I want to irritate my neighbors... especially when I leave for work at 5 in the morning.
A big thank you. One of the best useful video on the Rocket 3 so far.
An amazing bike. GT has come out well. All muscles.
Great video,
Where can i see the tire pressure?
Thank you
Thanks for this! I found it daunting and the manual is hard work. I have been waiting for this!
O.C. Very informative presentation!
Great bike.since the moment I ride it I felt in love

The website says it has turn by turn navigation, have you used and seen it?
Great tutorial...but can you tell me what the red flashing light is at the top of the panel...when the bike is off.?
Thanks
My guess is it’s a security indicator light like most cars have.

how do i get my odometer to display other than when shutting the bike off ?
Everything super cool, thank you,but you didn’t mention how to connect Bluetooth?

Is there a lever to rotate the entire display?
No

Cant swap 3gt cluster onto the 3r....they dont communicate.
Re-shoot the video, showing the hand manipulation required to navigate the display menu.

I have the same doubt. Harley fat Bob of rocket 3 gt
I traded my 2019 Fat Boy for a 2022 R3 GT 221. The Rocket has twice the HP and Torque. Too bad the Triumph dealer network is so thin. FJB
