I’m carboflex 125 user for a few years and last week I played with new dynergy 120 APX. It simply can’t compare with carboflex in control and feel but I noticed bigger sweetspot and maneuverability of APX 120. With carboflex I have better precision. Apx120 is maybe better when you’re in defense.
I remember that the previous dynergy racket was so bad that Miguel Rodriguez (whose signature racket it was) would even stop using it after a few tournaments, and then switched to the older carboflex model. I think they did the right thing by removing that prince style stringing pattern.
Great to see Tecnifibre rackets aimed at club level players - I know a few people who got the Carboflex 125 and really struggled to use it at first - you mentioned a few times that these rackets are a lot more forgiving than the Carboflex models and they're generally quite powerful too - in that case, what advantages do the Carboflex models hold over these? Would be interesting to weigh up the different rackets side by side as they're pretty similar price wise.
Just bought this from you, on the scales comes out at the same weight as carboflex 130 x speed at 152g. Total weight rather than unstrung weight would be useful. Ps I like the racket very much but interesting that 10g advertised weight difference does not result in an actual weight difference once strung
Hi Richard thanks for the feeback, i will do some weight comparisons when they are all on the scales. It's surprising as it felt lighter than the 130 carboflex models
Mine doesn’t so It would be interesting to see how much variation there is in weights within the same model. I have 305 1.1 string in the 130 x speed so that takes a bit of weight off but 10 g? I guess if the weight tollerance is +-5g and I have got +5g, and if the different string gauge makes 5g difference I could see how you get to the same weight. Maybe I should check on a different scale as well incase the tolerances are out on my kitchen scales.....
scott cross well, now prince don’t appear to be making rackets anymore there are lots more of these rackets appearing from other brands, like the new Karakal Core Pro, or the Unsquashable Syn-Tec Pro.
@@pdhsports can I ask you for opinions on the subject - Tecnifibre DYNERGY APX 130. Colleagues from a store in Poland say that the dynergy series is a total flap, a failed rocket series.
@@marekeski7271 our sales on the Dunergy APX do not reflect that opinion, the Dynergy has a strong following for players who like the Tecnifibre brand but prefer something different from the Carboflex of Suprem so they definitely have a place in the TF line up as a more forgiving option to play with.
Alex Robertson thanks, I’m aware of that, but he was asking for the total weight which was what I gave him. I think you misinterpreted my reply, there was no implication of a mismatch between model name and weight just a desire to tell him that the 120 model has a total weight of 152g

Reminds me of a prince design minus the ring which I assume is copyright?
