Please note the following..... 1. LD for the vertical rebar of the pedestal is to be 12 to 16 times the rebar Diameter erected over B2 2. Stirrups for the upper part of the pedestal shall be intensified. 3. The threaded part of the anchor bolts shall be protected with PVC caps or HD masking tape to avoid threading damage while concreting. 4. the anchors better end with L or U shape for the embedded part. 4. the spacing below the steel plate shall be the minimum to avoid a higher non-shrinkage mortar application volume and better to avoid it totally.
@ElonioHQCILEJET wf 300 means wide flange beam? Sorry no idea about such case. But I think for the stability of the steel column if u will fix it totally embedded in its footing without bolted plate to be the full depth of the footing. But for overturning to be studied
Thanks for sharing your comments mark, Depends on requirements, the anchor rods and bolts can be kept open or enclosed with concrete fillings. keep watching
What diameter & steel grade the anchor bolts? What psi strength the concrete? Was a slump test performed on the concrete? Do the rebar need welding to each other, or just tie wires? thx. OH, & what is min. concrete coverage from wood form to rebars? Seems like 2" comes to mind , ,
Thanks for your comments,Anchor Bolt diameter & grade, concrete grade are depends on design loads. where as rebar weld are not necessary and yes, slump test is advised before every concreting...
This Technical Notes offers basic information covering installation of anchor bolts fixing details on pedestal for structural applications. typical details of proper anchor bolt installation.
Very good animation, but I suggest the following improvements to the subject matter, specifically related to the anchor bolts. First, there should not just be a deeply embedded hex nut. It should be a hex nut / fender washer / hex nut sandwich. Second, above the embedded “sandwich” there should be a concrete-bond-breaking tube or tape to allow axial movement of the bolt w.r.t. the concrete.
Good work. Your videos and enlightening!!! Good stay material for beginners.

Please tell me more detail, minimum length for anchor if I use WF 300?

How do you avoid non shrinkage mortar? The pedestals would have to be perfectly aligned during the pouring
@@zepedaherbey adjustment by 2 nuts one above the plate and the other below it
Thanks biro ❤❤❤❤❤
Pedestal only has a single layer of rebar instead of 2 layers?
How can you pour concrete in the column from the top when the steel plate is covered???
Very good and informative animations. All of it. Keep up

Don't we need to join the boots to the reinforcement?? Please answer 🙏
yeah that's a pretty accurate depiction of how pedestals get built
Very Informative... Thank you...
welcome!
Nice. What software did you used for the animation?
Autodesk software
@@GreyspaceEngineeringServices Which Autodesk... is it Revit or Inventor... thank you
After attaching the steel column, Are the anchor bolt left expose all through out??
