- My Host took me to the Largest Market in Nouakchott Mauritania which turned out to be very Dangerous located in the Slum in the centre of modern Capital. Then we went to the Insane Nouakchott Fish Market and people threatened us to leave as soon as possible..

Your Mauritania travel series are the best in my opinion. Host Abad looks educated,smart and seems a really nice person like most people of Mauritania. What does he do? I think most travellers like you should take along a friend or family member atleast for the dangerous journeys. The fishing scene is the same in India with songs etc.

Very nice tour of the capital city. By roaming about in the local market and the goods commodities available for buy and sell all were seen. Visit to the Atlantic coastal area and fish market was nice. Some section of the local people everywhere always maintain distance with foreigners- thats common.
