Troy, great interview. As a life time resident of Castlemaine, Brett has always been a local icon to many young musicians (and the standard run of the mill kid, especially with his Rambo look back in the day :) Really glad to see that he hasn't forgotten his roots with his mention of many people, especially (in my opinion) Glenn Quill, the most humble and talented musician that myself and family have the privilege to learn from and have a beer with. I hope our up and coming musicians take the time to listen and learn from our Australian legends!!
You probably dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my brother lately :)
Great stuff Troy...Brett seems like a really cool guy, thank you for this..younger Aussie guitar players will enjoy this and Stuart Fraser interview...keep em coming. cheers
No worries Troy, BG is a monster player, for me id be happy to play like Stu Fraser...still trying to copy his Reach out (Touch) solo..any chance you could share some of the effects he used when he played that to you? cheers
Hey mate , I can't remember specifically which pedal he hit for that. We did go through his setup toward the end of the vid which goes through his pedals. He said he used one main dist/drive pedal for the noiseworks stuff, so it is one of the pedals on his board there...
Yes EH small muff..yeah i saw his wah's and Roland space pedal...no worries Troy, thanks for your time...any chance of doing Jim Mogine or Ian Moss...keep up the great work mate!
How many times does the interviewer need to say "right' or "okay"? Apparently far too many times... right... okay... right, drive me crazzzzzzy... okay!

Hey Troy, any relation to Stuart Male luthier and guitar god from Lillydale?
No mate I'm not, but I have been asked alot
They'd be a lot of old guys like me who swore by him.. and ask u that! 😜
Yeah I heard that about him
Hi Troy, just wondering, is that thing you jammed on for the last 10 sec
of this interview an official Bret's tune? If so, what is it called?
HI Finn, no that is the iconic guitar solo from 'Two Strong Hearts', the John Farnham song that Brett played on!
Thanx a lot! You should have made a whole song based on that short section alone, anyways, sounds great.
forest gun?
Yeah, right, ok.
Grant Harris 😆🤘
Brett Garsed is the Ayatollah of Rock`n Rolla !
