Reason for piracy is the inadequate pricing like a person in US can easily spend $60 on a game but we can spend that money on a game if game developers keep regional pricing then everyone can play after buying like earlier we use to pirate music but when it became affordable people started buying subscriptions

Well the major disadvantages of pirate game is that you could not save your game file in cloud and you can't get achievements or trophies.
I don't want to pirate games but I have to do that to play games. See we Indian students can't buy games for our parents' old mentality and stuff. But when it comes to free games like those on epic games, they are mostly high end games. We don't have such a heavy pc to handle those. And to get light weight games like minecraft and geometry dash, they don't come free. That's the main problem I suppose.
XBOX Gamepass is the best option for people like me who want to play different games but dont want to spend thousands of rupees and complete it in a week.

I agree with this video. I have stopped playing pirated games & i always try to play genuine games. Epic games is more than enough tbh. Other than that i try to buy games from steam sales. Now i have decided not to buy games bcz i have many unfinished/untouched games which i have to complete 🥲. I respect devs and their work.

I don't face any kind of problem using pirated games.When I play games I turn off my internet.I also cover my laptop camera .There are no photos on my laptop.sometime the game crashes but that can be fixable.Its impossible for me to buy video games that cost around 10-100s.
We minors aka around 14 years of age, our parents disallow us to buy video games and would think its a waste of money. We cannot do anything about it and our craze towards the game call us to pirating them.

You haven't included one point that not only beneficial for pirates but also for developers.
If piracy did not exist, lot of the people didn't even know that such great games are exist. Piracy proves to be one of the best way to advertise games.
Think for a moment, people from the lower class who just pay 5rs to 10rs to play GTA games from those jail brocken Playstations or cracked PC versions of games, they don't even know that GTA games exist.
And I think, this is the beauty of piracy that almost anyone can enjoy games even the people who are not supposed to buy those games anyway, what could be the best way of advertising these games than piracy itself.
Then again games cost more in countrys like india and the wages are lower so it makes sense if no one can afford it people are just gonna pirate what they can.
I think majority people pirated games on PC because for Games are really expensive as well steam and Epic games don't have UPI and Google Pay option for Transaction

I totally agree and I always purchase games. There is no prob in purchasing games because of steam , epic etc sales. In steam so much games stay in sale daily with 50% 60% 70% discount and in sales like summer , winter , autumn the sales in games went crazy.

The thing is not that we dont want to support the developers. The real reason is that we cant because of many reason you already know. Pirating is the only way to enjoy games for many. Without pirating many people will be unable to play games rather than purchasing. Unlike physical objects which take their own space and have theit value, games in the digital world are just copies. Its less serious than stealing tbh. Pirating will never die

some might not know it but many cracked game sites give royalty to the developers cuz the developers can easily sue and shut them down like these sites are literally giving away the game, many sites have already been shut down only some genuine like RG Mechanics, FitGirl, CODEX... remain as they provide a large sum to the developers from the generated revenue
CODEX retired from pirates scene in February 2022 , they got shutdown because of many fake untrusted site and lack of visiting..

Apart of that if you pirate games you won't be getting those textures and details that you get in real optimized title, games that are on subscriptions or you bought are yours forever so in case of games that keep on getting free updates and patches till date such as fallout, nfs, forza, gta online, or free dlc for witcher 3 you won't get it so games that keep on evolving every 5-10 years gets better graphics, no bugs, no crashes you're basically downloading an unfinished dumbed down version for free. Its even better on us as consumer site, do you know Microsoft and sony is selling y'all a 70,000 rs console like xbox or playstation for only 44,000 at straight up loss why? So that people appreciate there titles and try to give an immersive experience the sounds, the textures. Look at hellblade 2 an xbox exclusive or deathstranding 2, RDR2 look at the production you are missing out on it if you buy a 1080p textureless free pirated games. Look at the smaller creatives who made a marvel of a game Plague Tale Requiem they are risking their lives. You are gonna make them bankrupt if you don't atleast buy a subscription. Apart of that as a gaming lover and actually following small nuances i love my console and pc i don't want games crashing, bugs, glitches, no dlc or malware. 🤷
