I always TRY to keep in mind these pickups are just a starting point. I always have to remind myself that your hands and fingers and of course stings and picks are huge factors in the tone also.
I was building my last Telecaster beginning about 2 years ago and Montys DP51 was perfect neck pickup I had been searching for to match my Duncan Broadcaster, Mahogany Body with arm relief, tummy cut and neck relief, a Locke Custom Guitars 78 Birdseye Neck with Ebony Fretboard with Wolfgang profile, 6150 SS frets,, Babicz Bridge, Fender LSR Roller Nut, Schaller DaVinci Tuners, it Snarls, It Growls and Even Bites if you get too close. Thanks for helping create a Monster, painted in pearl white with alligator skin pickguard
I need a telecaster ... When I first started playing seriously and was buying my first real guitar I wanted this tele but the clerk was like oh those are only for country players you at country uh... So I got an American standard strat instead but I still wish I would of gotten my first choice lol
Pete, read this. Bensonite makes a screw kit for the 3 saddle bridge that replaced the slotted set screws with shorter hex ones, Philips head shorter intonation screws, flat top Phillips to attach to the body. The results are no sharp screws sticking out of saddles, no intonation screws sticking above the strings and no screws sticking up where the bridge attached to the body so the saddles can be moved back farther. It a game changer for palm muting and the look of the bridge is still good. God bless you and I hope you know Jesus as your Savior

I used to think like that if my house burnt down id save this or that until my house did burn down when I was a teenager because my brother was all high and fell asleep with a cigarette. I woke up with my ceiling fan melting over me like a flower pedal and all I cared about saving was anything living. I got my mom out , I saved our two dogs and I got the cat out which almost killed me doing and the cat was completely burnt and ended up dying. I ran across the street in my underwear in the snow to call the fire department because my mom and brother was completely froze and in shock. So yeah I didn't care about anything like that...
WOW! As you wrote, human beings and animals are more important than a guitar. But isn't more a phrase to stat how important and special this particular guitar is for Pete. Thanks for your comment and for watching. Get more great stuff on www.soundmade.com //Paw Soundmade.
