Another fact that many people don't know, they are originally a cappella groups. Dance position and English rap members are all good at singing.
More reaction on TVXQ as 5 please. Them as 5 was the best thing that ever happened in Kpop history. I think they are just TOO GOOD to be true that's why the universe did not allow it to last :( TVXQ will remain for me as the only group with no vocal and visual hole!

FINALLLLLY! Someone succeeded in recommending this song to him. I think I have requested this to Aaron years ago, now it finally comes true.
The newer kpop stans just do not understand what a powerhouse TVXQ were. They were the BIGGEST kpop group between 2004-2010 and this song is a great example as to why. TVXQ were (still are too) some of the best vocalists to ever grace kpop. I cannot imagine any group in the current kpop sphere who could realistically take on the vocal heavy songs TVXQ have put out, both as five and as a duo.
Line distribution actually means nothing to TVXQ!, because they sing consistently through out the song. Every single members hold an irreplaceable position in the team, when one sings others will do background harmony or adlibs, vocal layering, etc. That is why the combination of 5 of them is the most perfect unit you can find in Kpop.
Please look for tvxq's (tohoshinki) japanese ballads, their vocals are just great in those

TVXQ sing the best in live stage.
FINALLY THE VOCAL GODS OF KPOP! Jaejoong is my absolute favorite singer in the world. Please check out more of their stuff as 5. The vocals are always killer. They do have some Acapella stuff that is beautiful. JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu) have a song called In Heaven that is insane to hear live.
Once Jaejoong went solo he went more of a rock route. I recommend checking out his songs One Kiss, Mine, Run Away, Just Another Girl. And you should definitely check out more of Junsu.
Those are their stage names:
Shim Changmin = Max (Choikang in korean, this name is from Lee Sooman)
Jung Yunho = Uknow (this name is from Yunho game's account name)
Kim Jaejoong = Hero (Youngwong in Korean, this name is from Lee Sooman)
Kim Junsu = Xiah, now he still use Xia (it's from himself, means he want tobe famous in Asia)
Park Yoochun = Mickey (idk, I think it's his child name when he was in Virgina USA). CMIIW

I don't know if it's because of TVXQ's 20th anniversary but there have been a couple of YT reactors reacting to OT5 stuff and I'm so happy about it.
You gotta watch their lives if you want to really appreciate their vocals. Music videos do not do it justice at all. Love in the ice (Tokyo dome) is one their iconic songs. Honestly, so many of their ballads are amazing. You can also probably just watch their acapella compilations

They are called by their names
hero jaejoong is called young jaejoong, Xiah junsu is called xiah junsu, Mickey yuuchun is called Mickey yuuchun, max changmin is called choikang changmin and u-know yunho is called u-know yunho. But young Jaejoong is now just called Jaejoong because he has separated from TVXQ and xiah junsu now is called xia junsu.
Oh, Hero Jaejoong is called Youngwoong Jaejoong in Korea. Cuz youngwoong in Korea means hero. Believe me, I'm Cassiopeia, their fan for 15 years

5 member tvxq is peak ;; they've done quite a bit of acapella too. if you're interested in more power vocal ballads their song Love in the Ice is a fan favorite. there's no MV for it but the live performance is all you need to see! (there's korean and japanese versions). and their japanese song Why Did I Fall In Love With You is soooo good as well
you should react to their live performance for this song, that performance is still giving me goosebump even today

its more common to call them by their korean name (jaejoong, yunho, yoochun, junsu, changmin) and yes i recommend you to check ot5 discography especially their ballads since you seem interested bcs of their vocals. i also recommend you to check their funny moments or variety shows bcs 5 of them are very interesting people especially jaejoong, he is the weirdo in the group but i will say its probably hard to find their ot5 videos bcs its very old 😂😂

If you're interested in more OT5 ballad songs, I recommend checking out Love in the Ice (either Korean or Japanese version but it has to be live version!) since it's also a ballad that includes harmonies similar to this one. And their Japanese songs before 2010 (when there were still 5 of them) are so good especially the live version! I hope you'll find their ballads to your liking!
thank you for your reaction. they actually debuted as an acapella group. you should check out "whatever they say" acapella version, my little princess acapella ver., always there, hug acapella version, thanks to, tvxq acapella compilation (where they harmonize right on the spot), and also their live performance of "love in the ice" if you want more vocal focused and acapella focused songs from them

Thank you for your reaction. To me, the 5 people of TVXQ are a legend because not only are their looks excellent but their skills are also top-notch. Watch and react to their live performances. It's so much better. I recommend some songs like Love in Ice, Don't Say Goodbye, In Heaven (JYJ), Catch me (TVXQ!) or some of their Japanese songs Bolero (live Tokyo Dome), Wasurenaide, Doushite, Forever love, Heart, Mind And soul

well for fans or them who's into kpop since long ago, it's more common to call them by their korean names but their rookie era they called each other with their stage & western name. im sooo glad you're finally intrigued to check them out more, i've been following you since flower reaction (well not in this account lol this is new) so i suggest you to check some jaejoong discographies as well (after the pre-split tvxq) like MINE, BUTTERFLY, ROTTEN LOVE, JUST ANOTHER GIRL, TENDER LOVE, IMPOSSIBLE, DEFIANCE, BREAKING DAWN etc i actually have lots of recommendations but let's just come with those. he's more into rock and ballad, not really a type of idol who likes dance nor making dance song (he has but not many).

If you like Tonight, you should give One, I Believe, and Love in the Ice a try
they are all main vocalists. but hero jaejoong was the heart and soul of tvxq 5 members song (he always stand in the middle of the formation as well). Junsu is like the engine, micky is the secrete weapon, changmin is a force, and yunho is a leader. But jaejoong is the guy connects everyone.

I started my true kpop journey being a Cassiopeia (DBSK stan) back in 2007 and I have NO regrets. I haven't still found a Kpop group that can match their stage presence and amazing talent. I'm glad you got to listen to this masterpiece and I absolutely recommend you to deep dive. They were monsters back in the days and all of the kpop bands nowadays are heavily influenced by them. The fact that they were created because Lee Sooman wanted to form a Boyz 2 Men korean group so he found 5 amazing vocalists and made them do acapella music together (you should watch their acapella compilations) is so... impressive. They were impressive as five (their voices matched SO good) and they still are as two, but I think they shined brighter when they were all together. I wish they could do a come back as five someday, but I know it's not likely to happen :( so all I can do is remininsce

Hero Jaejoong, i think it's more familiar to call him jaejoong. He comes later in the song, i think because during this comeback, he had an injury or broken leg or something (i already forgot dang it's 2005) so i think even for the title track (rising sun) he got replaced during the whole stage and only sing while sitting down sooo....his participation during this comeback is not as much as other members (even though he is the main vocal back then)
You can call them
HERO as in hero in eng.
Hero = Young woong in korean so Youngwoong Jaejoong is more common.

However now they quit so now we call them Jaejoong, Joonsoo, Yoocheon.

Max is actually like the max in "maximum," so you can pronounce it like you would in English. And hero also the English hero. You can pronounce Micky like you would Mickey Mouse.
But most people use their given names, so changmin, junsu, yoochun, yunho, jaejoong. (Yoochun is long u, short u*)
*short u is just an English equivalent
