My dad's family were all from the Chicago area... Love the family and a few places in the outskirts of the city bring back lots of nostalgic feelings. I am heading to Mexico this week for a month and a half... looking forward to the weather, food, people, music and Art! So much to SEE!!!! I love that you haven't abandoned your travel videos... Traveling with kids is SO VERY IMPORTANT!!! When I was growing up my Dad made sure to save for family vacations and we did road trips to Illinois for family gatherings every other year! So from Oregon to Illinois and everything in-between! When Kids travel as kids they will not be "afraid" of going outside their "comfort zone" so much because they are used to it!! I think you are terrific parents and I do hope you continue to speak Spanish with the kids so they maintain language skills! Best Wishes!!!
We believe the same. The more you travel with kids the more open minded they become. It's been amazing to see how much they've changed over the years. Now they want to travel all the time :)
I’d still appreciated that series of “Moving to Mexico” over the past year and enjoyed your introduction of Puerto Vallarta life there, although you didn’t talk about reasons why leaving Mexico, but many are curious and guess some reasons might include: 1) pressure of back to office? fully remote business no longer works after the pandemic, more and more workplaces are calling hybrid nowadays, 2) some cost of living problems? as Puerto Vallarta inflation is higher than the US, especially real estate is growing crazy there, and Pesos getting strong in this year, have to pay more dollars than past years, Mexico is no longer a cheap place, the Puerto Vallarta life is becoming more expensive than Chicago and many USA cities? 3) quality education might be another big one? for young kids still need education in the US?
