Le Tarot Arthurien is one of the few decks I brought with me when I came back home to Hawaii. It is an incredible deck. The more I read, the more I love it. The deck is so good at evoking emotions in me. What a gift.

It does have a small guidebook with it, but it isn't detailed. I do think you could get the deck, use the guidebook and read with the Dinosaures de Marseille deck, and totally get used to it and have a fun time with it. If you want to go deeper and learn more about reading Marseille decks in general, I would recommend a more in depth book. I would reccommend one of three books, The Marseille Tarot Revealed by Yoav Ben-Dov, Untold Tarot by Caitlin Matthews, or Reading and Understanding the Marseille Tarot by Anna Maria Morsucci and Antonella Aloi. I think the last two of the three are easier to start with if you have never read Marseille, but if you really wanted to dive in you could start with the Yoav Ben-Dov book. The Les Dinosaurs does change the suits so wands are fossils, cups are crinoids, swords are ferns and discs are ammonites. It is not the easiest Marseille to start with but if you like dinosaurs and think it is cute, willing to read the guidebook until you know the deck then you could totally do it. At some point, once you are comfortable with the deck, I would add in one of the three books above.
OMG I love that dinosaur deck!!! I also love dinosaurs and even have a small triceratops tattoo (my friend and I got matching ones). However, almost $30 just for shipping? 😬 Sadly, I'm going to have to pass on that one.
@@tarottarantulas Hi there, I know, totally agree. I think shipping prices to the US have really gone up. I am not sure if this is an Etsy thing or if they are just crazy in general. I just tried to ship a deck to Canada and my cost was $25. I couldn't quite believe it. When I ordered the Dinosaures de Marseille, I ordered a batch because I had several friends who wanted the deck. The shipping was much less per deck. If you don't know people who want the same deck, this doesn't work. Maybe a US shop will pick it up. If I had a shop, I would carry it. 😬
@tarotgeek8494 I agree. Shipping to the US has probably quadrupled in price the last year or so. It sounds like Canada has gotten ridiculous, too. Which is too bad, makes getting overseas decks hardly worth it when shipping price almost matches the deck. I really hope a US shop picks it up. None of my friends are into tarot, so splitting cost isn't an option, unfortunately. I do wonder about some sellers' shipping costs, though. Sometimes, there is a drastic difference (especially on Etsy) between deck shipping costs coming from the same country 🤷♀️

Le Tarot Arthurien is just simply incredible. I have it with me in Hawaii and am using it almost every day. I just keep loving it more and more. I love the Arthurien legends and they work so well with the tarot.
I only have a few decks but I could do it. I am in Hawaii for January and February (home visiting family). I should be back 2nd week of March. I didn't bring her decks with me, but could do it when I get back.
