Example 1: if it is compounded quarterly, are we not supposed to divide i by 4 and then multiply the number of years by 4?

Hello ma’am , for example 3 when you’re working out the -40000 when working out n for the second interest rate you said it’s 24 and that doesn’t make sense because it did not start at the beginning. It started after 1.5 years
