The little 4' 10" Napoleon Asami/vocals has been the one member who has improved greatly especially LIVE since 2017. She is a stage commander, controlling the crowd, pacing the band and keeping the show rolling, while she thunders over the glorious music behind her. In short the perfect front person for this group. The rumors sadly are true Miho left on 8/17/2021 for personal reasons (searching for answers and some peace after the death of her father) the founder whose vision of what Metal can and should be (Lovebites) will always be the heart and soul of this band and her great accomplishment. Now if she can't return then a replacement needs to be found from the great talent pool in Japan. However, that talent has to learn quickly, blend and sync with this well oiled machine and be ready to anchor the band LIVE quickly so no easy task. The WOLF-PACK is hoping for Miho's return but if not then the group picks up and goes on, this band is just too great a gift to end up done in such a short time. The key is Haruna/drums who was brought back into music by Miho when she was forming this great group. If Haruna stays then we only need one new member to work into this machine, if she goes then we may very well have a serious issue confronting us. That said here no one plays Thrash better LIVE than Lovebites, no one!! Less than 50% capacity, assigned seats, no yelling or screaming and hand clapping only, but these insanely talented ladies still put on a show for the ages and the new LIVE album from this show will be epic once it is out the end of September.

We will miss Marko, but Floor will truly be the one who feels the loss the most.

Outside of how they sound and how good they really are together as well as seperatly, I very much enjoy the words. They write like I do, I only say that cause im older than them lol otherwise I'd say we are similar in this manner, which is another reason I love them

I have the same model ESP E-II Horizon Midori favors on stage. I named it after her as well (even though it has the "reindeer blue" finish and Midori means green). Even had a customized truss rod cover made with the name. Yes, unfortunately, it is true. In the past there have been situations where a member leaves a band and they wind up coming back. I'm really hoping for that. But if not, I hope Miho is happy in her future endeavors. Japan has a stable full of excellent female bassists, so I'm sure they'll regroup and carry on. But it just won't be the same, especially since Miho is the one responsible for putting the band together. This is her legacy. Anyway, enjoyed the reaction. Looking forward to the next one.

Update regarding lovebites future: Asami made a blog post on their fanbase page and said they did consider disbanding after miho left, but ultimately they decided to stick together and continue making music and told us to be patient and wait their return.
