I am a heavy metal geezer, but this is incredible I first heard Gun on XFM brilliant, brilliant keyboard programming ala Depeche Mode

same pretty much just metal post hardcore and punk for me but her voice is so beautiful and they are an electropop band that actually CAN perform live i love them

Really underrated where I live as well, I got instantly hooked to them the first time I heard The Mother We Share over two years ago, and it's still one of my favorite songs. I haven't met anybody that knows chvrches here, let's pray that their work from the mocking jay will put them on the map.

The Drive soundtrack was perfect though. College is on it!!!!!!!!!!!!! However this song is incredible, and probably the happiest song ever written. Now I'm off to play Real Hero on repeat.
It may sound happy, like a lot of chvrches' songs, but it's certainly not. A lot of melancholy vibe, Drive-like sadness and loneliness aftertaste.

Yeah, you never get to know where the guy came from and where he went to. He was def a loner, brutal when he had to be but with a soft centre for the right person. An enigma but you do kinda feel the sadness and loneliness of his existence.....

The first time I heard them in Warsaw, 25 July 2013. They supported Depeche mode, and most importantly they made a huge impression on me. It's 8th of April 2023 and this song was on the radio the other day. Wow! I hadn't heard it before but I love it and it proves again that if I haven't heard it before it's new to me.
Between this song and Dead Air from the Mockingjay soundtrack I am greatly anticipating their 2nd LP. I really like how they are using the dynamic of Lauren and Martin's voices.
Bought their latest album a few days ago and knew I'd heard this song somewhere before! Was looking on the original Drive soundtrack for it, completely forgot I'd watched the rescored version too.
I really hope these guys stay right where they are.... This is extremely selfish of me but I don't want them to get too big. I love them so much and I don't want the demand of a bigger fanbase to ruin their sound. Might just be me though....
