The fact that Jason and Julia (both voted for Michele) have said they would've voted for Aubry if they knew how much she controlled the votes confirms Aubry should've won
Survivor Kaoh Rong is an incredible season! It has many great players including the most underrated winner in Survivor history! Michele played an amazing social game, won some challenges and played her advantages correctly and wisely like the vote off a jury member. She also never told herself who she would or would not work with and she is very smart. The season also made history with the most medical evacuations ever. Finally it also has many players that I would love to see play again like Anna, Liz, Jason, Scott, Neal, Nick, Cydney and maybe Peter. Great secret video man!
@@justinrittenhouse3496 Since her time on Survivor she’s said and done a bunch of really questionable things, which I think is putting it charitably. Her Twitter is a mess of harmful antivaxx sentiment, bigotry, and conspiratorial nonsense. Relatively recently it’s been reported she was attempting to honey trap some FBI agents, and she’s been linked to other weird spying bullshit. Aside from appearing to be a terrible person, she also doesn’t seem to be the most stable woman cutting about. Some former survivor contestants have spoken about Anna’s bizarre antics, and there are certainly things you could find if you were interested (although maybe not her worst tweets, which do get deleted). Just finished this season the other day and loved it. I definitely felt a tad sad Aubry lost, but Rob’s post game interview with Michele that is featured in the video really showed to me just how brilliant Michele was and why everything ended how it did. It really should be required viewing. The edit really doesn’t do a good job of showing the bonds she made and why people gave her the win.
i havent watched a season in full, ever! i just love watching the videos on youtube. just through watching about all the survivor content on youtube, i pretty know the boot order of every season! (except fiji, nobody really covers that, but hey, maybe there could be a secrets video on that too?) sadly, i don't live in the u.s so there's no way for me to (legally) watch seasons, and if i try to find somewhere where i can, i usually get flooded with virus ads and stuff :(
Both of you need to watch to at least one season. I really like genx vs mill and survivor Tocantins is amazing. All of the seasons are on paramount plus for under $6 a month with ads.
That clip where Michele says she would’ve voted for Aubry is when she was asked who she would vote between Aubry and Tai. Cydney wasn’t included in the question.
I remember an interview before KR aired where Jeff spoiled the winner, he said the last season we shooted, we had this woman who won and was very similar to Parvati lol, not sure if its the same interview you showed, I remember it like a stage with audience kind of interview with a panel
I am honestly surprised that Survivor hasn't taken the leap sooner with teenagers especially with the somewhat success of Endurance (which was basically survivor for teens that aired in the early 2000s). I know laws have changed, but it seems totally plausible to do a teen Survivor since it already has been done. Fun Fact Jonna from The Challenge was on and won the first season of Endurance.
i really hope that alecia holden returns soon! especially since they used the hero music for her when she got eliminated, i hope that productions has the same idea as me. i think she couldve returned for game changers easily instead of caleb or someone else, but they might keep her for a second chance 2.
i feel like the asking 16 year olds thing was about not knowing when survivor would come back on the air at the time, there could've definitely been (though rare) an 18 year old next season that applied at 16
I'm assuming they bumped the season back and did Cambodia first bc they did the cast reveal at the season 30 reunion so like it makes sense to air that season next 🤷
There was a survivor with kids. It was called “Endurance” and it aired on discovery kids. I used to be OBSESSED with it. Premise was that a group on teens and pre-teens were taken to wild/nature places like Survivor, but they were provided with sort of cabins/bunks instead of having to build shelter and they were provided food. Instead of tribes, teams were broken in groups of two with a color to refer to their teams- one boy and one girl. They would participate in similar physical challenges like survivor. There were challenges to win “pyramid pieces”, which contributed to team’s chance of getting to win the game overall in the final mission, and “temple missions”, where the winning team would decide which two teams would go to the “temple of fate” and essentially play fancy and much more dramatic Rock Paper Scissors, losers getting sent home. I was seriously obsessed with this show as a kid but I don’t know of anyone else who watched it lol.
This was my FAVORITE show as a kid. I had never seen survivor at that point but I was absolutely convinced I’d be on it one day. I was devastated that they stopped making it.
@@Paige-hf9tb yknow funnily enough, they kind of did bring it back in 2020 as a show called "karma", it was even produced by jd roth, the host of endurance. it was on HBO max but for some reason they completely took it off the service.

Jeff raises a great point, imagine how damaging getting voted off the island of your favorite show would be to a child that's yet to really develop the social skills to understand it's just a game and not a reflection of who they are as a person, a teenage version could definitely elicit similar feelings, but the island already is a high school simulator in a lot of ways so at least they'd be more appropriate to consider if they did endeavor down the path of a younger cast
@@rickandteribedell4350 There's a difference between a social game and playing such a light game that nobody has been affected by you and got a grudge. I just remembered why the abuse of living animals isn't generally accepted on TV or movies after watching this season. His love of animals/nature is the only reason to admire Tai, AFAIC.
The only reason? He's a Vietnam war refugee who made himself a life in a country he didn't speak the language of, overcame his culture's perspective of homosexuality, took the fact that he was put in the Beauty tribe (most likely a jab at his homosexuality) with good humour and was an excellent idol finder.
Just finished the season after it released on Netflix 2 days ago. Great season until end. Wanted Scot to win but was fine with Tai winning. Aubrey I thought should've won over Michelle. The whole vote was based on the fact that the jury was bitter. That's part of the game but still she wasn't very impressive and was just there for most of the time, Tai was arguably the most powerful with crossing Scot, the two idols and the extra voting power. Aubrey was smart too. Terrible ending IMO
That's right, Michelle didn't do anything. She just made friends, not like Aubrey, she was absolutely the best player on this game, she made all of the important decisions: she kept Julia instead of Peter, she blindsided Nick, Debbie, convinced tai to not give the idol to Scot, and so much more. SHE SHOULD HAVE WON THIS SEASON, NOT FUCKING MICHELLE
Same, I adore Ty and I find it ridiculous that some people voted against him because he refused to hand the other half of the Super Idol to that one dude, I think his name was Jason but I don't care enough to check. As far as how the Super Idol works, I was certain if he had done so he would have gone as he had the next most votes. Why they think it was more honourable to give the half is beyond me, everyone should understand betrayal for the sake of your own skin. Not to mention I especially dislike the theoretical Jason for suddenly trying to catch sympathy points by talking about his boy being autistic. As an autistic person myself I didn't like someone like me being used as a tool to get sympathy money. He didn't wven say how severe the boy's autism was, or if he even had custody over him. From his stint in 'psychological warfare' I could totally see him trying to 'cure' his son who lives with the mom and he has no knowledge of how it actually affects him.
The editing did Michelle dirty but time has shown she is the better player. Aubry made terrible decisions where she burned alliance members left and right (Debbie vote as an example). Meanwhile Michelle kicked ass on the all winners season. Also don't forget Aubry would've been voted out of Neal hadnt been med evacd. Her entire game was on borrowed time 🤷
