    सकल दुख हरन सदानंद
    घट घट प्रकट जगत हो
सो अलख अमर अगम जल ।

    अगतन को गति देत
    सुखदायक चेतन अति प्रबल ॥

I find myself listening to this whenever I am lost or down in the dumps. Today is one such day. While there are tears in the eyes, Tai's soulful alaaps are comforting me, her rendition of 'Sakal Dukh Haran' is reassuring me. Tai really was the "empress of all melodies", a benediction for countless maladies...

May she rest in peace. Tilak Kamod, as a very novice listener of Indian Classical Music, is amongst my favorite raags and this rendition always transports me to some divine place. Her voice will live on forever even if she is no more. I am extremely saddened by her passing but this is amongst the many of her recordings that will keep her alive!

Tilak Kamod is not a morning raga. Listening to a raga at time different than it's stipulated time zone can create health problems as you mentioned.

I’m aware of that but I just stumbled upon the raaga and couldn’t really wait for nightfall, again you’re right a raaga should be heard at it’s proper time.

While going through this journey it was difficult to believe that it was not a dream.
How could a human voice could be so sweet and magical?
Thank you for sharing this gem.

This bandish was made immortal by Surashree Kesarbai Kerkar, as usual, with a tight, compact, glittering presentation. Kishoriji tries to match the raga to her voice in this presentation, more elaborating, softer, slower rendition. No comparison intended, only personal concept of the raagdari.

@@prakashparmar9896 This is a good recording in stereo sound. Tabla coming vividly from the left speaker. I can listen to the singer sitting in the middle of two taanpura tuned perfectly for Tilak Kamod, closer to right channel. No harmonium or violin or Sarangi accompaniment is heard. Sprinkles of swaramandal can be heard. Do not blame technology. In Audio Engineering, nothing much has happened, so far, in the field of technology.
