This is a very interesting idea. Nice touch with the additional audio clips for Issac. However, you only use the plasma cutter and play on such a low difficulty which really down plays the necromorphs. I think you could do this better by trying to add hesitation to Issac's movement at key moments. Also, have him 'think' about weapons and use a variety of them. Wow. Just a few minutes in and hearing you using voice lines from DS2 and 3 is impressive. I was one of the people who played DS2 first so having Issac being silent when I played the first game it was a little disorienting when I saw him go through a story arc in the second game. So bravo on your part.
Just finished. Very nicely done. Though I'm a little disappointed that you had to cut out the encounter with the Unitologist to get a first encounter with the regenerator. Still very well done.
I'm watching this movie while downloading the Dead Space 3 Bundle because I don't have enough credits to buy Dead Space 1 & 2. This movie is helping me understand the core story and some survival tips. Thanks for the upload.
I think this is my 3rd time watching this series. I don't know why I love this so much. Just listened to one of the audiobooks. Such talent making videos man, shame you stopped. Much love though.
I'm really glad you like my Dead Space films as much as you do. Truly, it makes all the hours spent putting that series together truly meaningful. And actually I haven't stopped making content. Currently I'm simply working on a new project called Farm Fresh. It's a big departure, sure, but I think it has some real potential. ua-cam.com/video/or6MkNX1Gl8/v-deo.html Again, thanks for liking the 'Reel' movies!
It's not really a nitpick, it just sucks that you had to cut out the stuff with Dr. Mercer (thus quite a big of the regenerator stuff, or the bit where he stabs someone, etc.) but at the same time I get that you had to do that to keep it 2 hours. Great job on the editing.
Hey, thanks! A lot of people have asked about Mercer and him not being in the film. The reasons are just as you stated. I didn't want the film to be 3 or even 4 hours long and including his segments would have made that a huge problem concerning time. All in all, I don't think the core of the games story needed him in order to tell the important parts of Isaac's story. The dementia that we see Isaac go through I felt was enough to show the affect the Marker has on a person. Thanks again for the comment!
i'm pretty sure around 39 and a half minutes in is the room that was the demo for the game. i remember playing that a dozen or more times before the game came out on the market.
oh THATS how you're supposed to kill the wall cocoon thingies. damn, no wonder i was always out of ammo also, is there an all deaths compilation? isaac dying on a graviplate is classic.
i've seen some vids about the gameplay and i thought this one would be like them too! well i,ve watched it straight with no pauses and guess what? i've never once during the entire vid felt like it's a game!!!it feels ...like...i dunno know an independant horror sci-fi movie! good job!!!! you nailed it and i'm on my way to watch the other vids too!!!
Found your video because I'm doing kind of the same thing. Nice work. I'd watch the whole thing but I just finished editing mine. I like that you took some artistic license to tell the story as you see it, which is cool. I'm trying to make a moving encompassing the whole series. The Aegis VII incident in my movie is going to contain parts of Downfall, Extraction, the animated comics and the main game. For DS2 I'll use aftermath, Ignition, DS Mobile and the main game again. There is so much back story jam packed into this IP I fell in love with it right away. I just wish we could all still play "No Known Survivors," because that was atmospheric and really drove me to want to buy this game back in '08. So glad they didn't keep it as a PS3 exclusive. I really enjoyed playing it on PC with a triple-monitor 24:5 aspect ratio. Keep up the good work.
+VolitionsAdvocate I would love to see your film when its finished! Be sure to post a link here so that I can check it out when its done. And please watch the whole film. It could give you some ideas for your own project.
+HorizonX5 Will do. I'm almost finished adding in the extraction bits. I have one rule for myself, that is everything needs to be as chronological as possible, even if it ruins some of the reveals. Right now it clocks in at about 4 hours 32 minutes. I figure it will be just shy of 5 hrs when I'm done.
What kind of flag? Did it give you a reason? Music? Video clip? If I had to guess it would have to be because of the use of film clips from the animated series. Did you use any of them?
+HorizonX5 Video Manager says "blocked worldwide" and it has 6 individual claims against it. all saying "Audivisual content." Funny thing is 5 of the 6 are for clips from the animated comic.. which is freely downloadable by anybody, and has numerous postings on youtube. The final one was for a clip from the DVD movie, but that's all over you tube too, and I think this falls under fair use. I'm not making any money and I'm not showing the whole movie either. Anyway. I disputed the first claim at the top of the list.. Do I need to dispute all of them? They're all pointing at the same stuff mostly. I suppose I could have flipped the video to avoid the algorithms, but jeeze. This is obviously a "shotgun" approach where they ban first and ask questions later... maybe.. if they have time. So lame.
L.M.F.A.O. During the part where They are boarding the Ishimura, a bird outside went off JUST as the ship took damage and I thought it was an edited in alarm at first.
When Kendra betrayed you I was half excepting Isaac to say “GODDAMNIT I TRUSTED YOU.”
Yeah same

I would like to recommend that you literally *predicted* the Dead Space Remake Major Kudos for that!
I may be late on this but I couldn't help but laugh every time I heard his voice...at first I thought they were voice acting it but than I realize it was from the other 2 games...and it killed. I'm not use to hearing his voice on dead space ...it was funny but also well time and done...keep up the good work. I'm just started watching your videos but I know I will continue to watch more
Hey, thanks for the kind words! Glad you're liking the content!
@@x5CiNEMA dude...like is an understatement. I just watched five of your videos yesrterday...I didn't have no one to play videogames with so I binged watch your videos.
Honestly have to say the editing and overall gameplay of this is brilliantly done, sat down and watched this with popcorn and a drink as if i were in a cinema, well time for the sequel!
Awesome! That's how 'Reel' movies are meant to be watched! Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, how did I not know this was a thing!? Thank you kindly for all the work you put into this. This is fantastic. Off to the next one! :)
Thank you! The films were a lot of fun to put together...mostly.
One of the best game ever!
Love the Isaac voice line add-ins. Nice work.
"Make us whole." God, I fucking hate that line, both in this game and the next one.
Yeah, it was pretty overused
Fuck you and fuck you marker
Why?
HuragokSlayer
It feels narmy, and it's said way to many times.
I see
Always knew there was Dead space, watched the original two movies , never played the games but i like the story and i relly hoped there was something close to this on youtube. Thank you so much for going through all the work to bring us this awesome product ! Cheers
You are very welcome!
Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it!
Voice acting in this is already better than dead space remake.
after 6 years, i love how the voice acting of issac is from dead space 2 and 3.
write to Hollywood explaining to them that John Carpenter needs to direct a live action movie based on Dead Space!
I'm watching this movie while downloading the Dead Space 3 Bundle because I don't have enough credits to buy Dead Space 1 & 2. This movie is helping me understand the core story and some survival tips. Thanks for the upload.
I'm glad I could help. Enjoy Dead Space 3! It's a a lot of fun.
It's a big departure, sure, but I think it has some real potential. ua-cam.com/video/or6MkNX1Gl8/v-deo.html
Again, thanks for liking the 'Reel' movies!
Awesome reel ! Thanks for giving Isaac his voice back in Dead Space 1 :D :D :D.
Holy smokes you added more character into him!!!
Wow!!! Great job on making this i love these games (maybe not the 3rd one so much lol) Cant wait to see what you have next.
Better than most horror movies these days!!!! 🤘🏽well done bro!
I can't remember seeing anything this exciting, EVER! Thanx so much; brilliant job. Have to watch 2+3, now. Got to go, bye!
WHOA! You went and added in clips of his voice?!
You did a good job especially adding Issac's voice in the movie :3
Thank you!
Wow it was smart of you adding the voice of Isaac from the other games
Thank you! I felt it made for a better viewing experience.
Isaac's dubbing was masterful! Damn good work mate.
Very kind of you to say! Thanks!
Officially ahead of its time, now that Isaac talks in the remake.
This was vary well made good job
i'm pretty sure around 39 and a half minutes in is the room that was the demo for the game. i remember playing that a dozen or more times before the game came out on the market.
Happy to see it's back :D Happy 4th of July :D
Dead space was one of the hardest games I've ever played. I loved it!
I still can't believe the guy who played Hammond was the same one who got killed by the lasers in Resident Evil.
oh THATS how you're supposed to kill the wall cocoon thingies. damn, no wonder i was always out of ammo
also, is there an all deaths compilation? isaac dying on a graviplate is classic.
i've seen some vids about the gameplay and i thought this one would be like them too! well i,ve watched it straight with no pauses and guess what? i've never once during the entire vid felt like it's a game!!!it feels ...like...i dunno know an independant horror sci-fi movie! good job!!!! you nailed it and i'm on my way to watch the other vids too!!!
+thedarklady kurai Thank you so much, Dark! I'm really glad you are enjoying the movies. They were a ton of fun to put together.
Best classic intro ever
Came back to this after finding out that there's a remake on the way.
Think we'll be seeing a remake of this once it releases?
+HorizonX5 it's uploaded but youtube flagged it and says It can't be played. I filed a dispute and we'll see. What BS.
This is outstanding work, well done!
Good job making the video, dude! That was very well done.
Thank you!
+x5 CiNEMA yeah this video is reely good see what I did there ok ok I'll stop but seriously though this is worth subscribing for.
Relate Mate Thank you! And I get the pun! ;) Its a pun of a pun!
