Rick Baker....the Michaelangelo, the Gianlorenzo Bernini of film effects! Thank you.
You are the best freaking special affects artist in the world and the only one to win a academy award in American werewolf in London my favorite movie of all time .. your awesome Rick!!
Loved the makeup in the Tim Burton Planet of the Apes, and that full scale Mighty Joe Young is amazing, apes, even pretend ones are fascinating!
Wow. I could watch this for days. Great. Thank you.
I wish I could stay in this place right now and maybe even chat with Rick Baker. I really loved the movie King Kong. I liked movies about monkeys. It is very interesting to see sculptures like monkeys here. And also to see the sculpture of the crazy professor.
Unbelievable!!! That is seriously a dream come true. Congrats on visiting the studio! Thanks for sharing. Incredible stuff.
Wow, how lucky were you? What an experience. Thanks for sharing.
The Dracula was so good it's like u wait for him to pull his cloak together any minute.. The detail in hands and face.. Incredible.
Oh yeah for sure. Rick transformed Martin Landeau into Bela Lugosi
Rick Baker, Stan Winston and Rob Bottin. Masters
J P Pierce as well
When Rob Bottin did the effects for The Thing he was only 22.
Rick Baker is the best makeup artist in all of cinema. He has done characters from aliens, apes, werewolves, nutty humans and does the most amazing work I have ever seen.
What a Great Tour! thanks for sharing that!!
WOW! This is truly amazing. You must feel so proud and privileged to have been there and also met the legend himself. I'd love to go there and do that. Rick is the real original master and icon of the industry. Fantastic stuff and thanks for sharing.
That was incredible mate they so look real and all I wanted to do is touch them ...Thanks for sharing my good man .Art is a incredible thing ,that I will never get enough of ...Got to love Rick hey!

Not enough words...!! AWIL will always be my top fave!)))
Thanks for sharing Rafa. Simply amazing.
Guys work is incredible.
Wow, he got some amazing stuff
That Grinch costume is iconic...as painful as it was for Jim Carrey to wear the costume and makeup, I love it.
his voice is so calm i could listen to him talk all day
Rick, THE Kong , the one of my youth.. thanx for this awesome video !
Thanks so much for this. Really. Thank you.
Wow, amazing! Thanks for sharing!
AWESOOOOOOOOOME !!!!!!!!!!!!
amazing realisim.. i've been working on realistic aliens for a script that goes to a lot of worlds. they are both less fantastic than, say, men in black. life tends to simplify. yet the bug man is abviously going to be prety alienating.. i think theres a whole unexplored wave out there.. maybe theyre real somewhere. the vitruvian form seems universal.. yet its fun to explore theoretical possibilities..with evolution and drift in mind.. maybe you can help me sell this concept.. wonderful tour. oh and fleshing out alien skuls..very interesting..
Rick Baker is Amazing
When you see this video you go I Remember that movie charter.
WOW ! Great, I am so jealous lol
Thanks for the video ;-)
Just too awesome!!!
+Rafael Robledo Jr How are you so lucky????....Dude, you must have great connection...A tour of Rick Baker Studio. = A tour of Willie Wonka Factory....
congratulations Rafa, saludos desde Mexico!!
Amazing!!
Was this the place on San Fernando and Alameda next to Togo’s and across from The Winchester Bar in Burbank/Glendale?
Truely a master!!!
Amazing so cool
I wonder how much of that is silicone and how is latex and if they do anything to preserve the latex
Yes it has to be sprayed yearly to stop it from cracking.
I’d give yeas off my life to work one day with Mr. Baker.
How did you get on a tour of his studio? That would a dream come true
I'm assuming it isn't open to the public?
Why didn't he show the were cat he did in mjs thriller video? But over all an amizing studio and tour
Is that Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi as Dracula?! Great
8:37 Goliath from the unproduced 1998 GARGOYLES movie!!!!
0:19 you're welcome batman fans
Where is the Octaman suit ?
you lucky man !!
Bigfoot and the Hendersons, as it was originally called, is an all time favourite, if Bigfoot exists, you could believe that that is how it looks! Harry, the Bigfoot, was played by the same very tall actor that played the Predator, which, in my opinion, is the greatest ever action film, the actor was Kevin Peter Hall, he was brilliant, sadly, he's no longer around
Fffaaaarr from it.
A lot of it in this video is restorated by Tom Spina
