I used to surf with her brother Jimmy back in the 60's, the whole family lived just around the corner from my home, so I got the know her, and family well. Those were great days, in growing up in La Jolla, Ca.

When i was in my early 20's I drove limos to pay for school and she was one of my calls. In person I was stunned by her beauty and she was much younger than she is here. Super classy and very conversational. She jokingly reminded me to watch the road.

We flew down, and had no reservations for any of the shows. There were a few tickets for hers left. I asked my wife was it okay if we went to Raquel Welch's new show. Reluctantly the ladies agreed , figuring it would be another one of those types of shows. She puts on a Class Act performance. Afterwards my wife's only comment was, "my God she's better-looking in person and what a talented lady she can sing and dance with the best of them". From my wife that was one heck of a compliment.
Craig Ferguson is the very best talk show host since Johnny Carson & maybe not just Carson's equal but maybe even better than Carson. Craig makes all the present day's attempts at talk show host seem like idiots but especially the absolute worst of all time is Colbert. This guy should be taken off TV completely & send him & his no talent ass to gather crops on a farm somewhere out of the public eye.... he is horrible & simply not funny or intelligent enough to be paid as an entertainer or a political geru that he thinks he portrays. A good TV network would beg Craig Ferguson to comeback to host a talk show On a major network. After all is said & done.... HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! RMW

There was a lovely mutual respect here, like all the intelligent guests Craig met, whether being silly or profound.
