    Legend has it that BHD took the KOM riding that river crossing but no data is available due to water damaging his Wahoo.

    Finishing just six minutes behind that machine of a man that completed fifteen Grand Tour races is something you should be very happy with, and a great learning experience as well. Your only real flaw was not having the balls to ride across that little stream. Cheers!

      As an extra my feet wouldn't have suffered from dehydration for the rest of the race.

    Hey Dylan! I decided to take on my first ever ultra-endurance gravel race last week. I haven't raced in the past 10 years and haven't ever done anything even close to this. Your content helped me a TON! I came out 8th at the end and had tons of fun during the 350kms. Thanks again, keep up doing the good work!

    You are a rockstar Dylan. Congrats..... Love these videos and backwards hat, Dylan always makes me laugh out loud. By the way. You were the maker of the first training plan I ever followed. (Trainingpeaks) I'm getting stronger and faster but when I hear your wattage numbers I think I would be better off playing darts or competitive scrabble

    Please consider covering your recovery methods this season considering your increased level of output. 🙌🏼 (also I love the free format Fabio put in place. ‘Bout time for some major fundraising from cycling community to local communities)

      The downside is the fundraising is nowhere near where they need to be to purchase the command vehicle.

      @@rpdole there is grant funding available for emergency vehicles. Often public services grants are based on matching funds. I plan to research the total take from GL donations.
      It’s a good model IMHO.

    Great video. Entertaining, informative, exciting first-person report - this is better stuff than the ascetic GdI road race reports. It's great how you relate your perceived exertion to the power numbers (which are off the chart for an old feller like myself, but add lots of context). Keep up the great content!

    Definitely a well written and produced video and race report. Easily held my interest. Even the stats; my eyes usually glaze over when I start hearing numbers, but the were presented in just the right amount to add context to the race. Nice job.

    i could hardly believe the water crossing. omg on wet feet for the next umpteen hours. great video. i raced road in the 70s, mainly time trials. a couple of "cyclo crosses" short on normal road bikes of the era. absolutely nothing like these world class challenging events. amazing. love your technical stuff too.

      I went vegan in 2018 after having health issues from being hit by a car and on antibiotics for 4 months. Went down the rabbit hole of research into the healthiest diet, and it is plant based. It has been amazing for my riding. I no longer have the chest pressure I had before when I would push it hard on the bike.
