  • The Pan-Slavic ideal enabled Chopin’s music to be disseminated quickly in Russia. Alexander Scriabin’s juvenile works are marked by this influence, which is still present in his Fantasia Op. 28, from 1900. Structured in a sole, sonata-form movement, it boasts very virtuosic writing that synthesises the legacy of Chopin and of Liszt.

Really great playing, but the piano is outstandingly dreadful. And why is the recording monaural? Dear presenter, please invest into hiring a good piano technician for this piano.
