I think the reason he plays fast is because of the O-Line they constantly let him get pressured
Definitely. Almost every pass "Taking a shot," "Getting dumped to the ground." or he's got an unimpeded defender running at him. I don't blame him to have trust issues with this O-line.
That, and he's a stud. 😂😂😂🤷🏽♂️
Through 5 games, the Oline has been the biggest weakness
Facts. Some plays I’m sure Press says hey, one read and go. Don’t sit back there…and I have no problem with that considering how variable our oline is.
Every play, somebody getting beat. And that’s across the line, not just the interior.
The horrible play of the interior offensive line has definitely sped Trevor up this year.
So you could almost say that the poor o-line has been a valuable training aid for Lawrence, and that when he finally gets decent protection, he'll be even greater.
Trevor is DANGEROUS when he has time to throw the ball. Whoever we can get this line right , it’s gonna be nice

for damn sure man the center play especially has been egregious, dude is so weak and lacks any awareness, i just hope that he learns from it and doesnt get nervous and bail out once the line actually plays good

From watching the video all the negative plays Lawrence had was a direct result of porous offensive line play. From the LT whiffing, to the C not being able to snap the ball to Trevor getting pounded after throwing pass after pass which leads to him taking off instead of throwing.
Tlaw makes elite throws every week behind a bad OL while his WR's lead the league in drops. The offense is slowly coming to form though. I know the OL is playing bad but he can't fumble twice in the RZ.
There's no way the Jags WRs lead the league in drops after the Raven's last game. Their receivers must have all washed their hands in grease before that game.

I blame the second one on Trevor but that 1st one was just Cam Robinson being one of the worst clutch moment blockers in football, everytime we need a late half drive he sells a rep and gets Trevor absolutely smashed, like it was a one hitch throw and he couldnt even get it off, idk what you want from him there, the other one most def shoulda took the jerk route thats the second time in a 3/4th down with big implications Kirk gets wide open over the middle and he just misses the read
@@jundossantoswere actually tied with KC for league lead with 11 dropped passes. Baltimore is 6th with 8 drops. alot of our drops are in key moments, perfect throws being dropped especially like 3rd down and tds... Trevor's stats would be way different and we would be sustaining drives if we had more consistency catching. But they finally seem to be clicking more. Just need the Oline to just keep him clean and give him time and our boys to catch
On the TD pass, Fortner’s guy went right by him, resulting in the hit after the throw. Fortner hasn’t played well this year.
i think that may have been scherff, although it’s possible it may have been fortners responsibility on the help. but you may be right anyways, i haven’t rewatched it
It’s weird. He did extremely well last season and it was his rookie year. Luke has me scratching my head
@@Edward_Strong1982he was on the field, he still wasnt good as a blocker in any facet tho, its his anchor hes way too damn weak, he gets bullied by any guy he has to take on, and he doesnt make up for it with some great awareness or ability to climb up either, when we took him i thought it was a higher floor level play than Dylan Parham but i was severely wrong about that, albeit Parham has struggled just not nearly as much

Trevor is playing fast at times because the o-line has been getting him smashed this year. You should have added the 3rd down throw he made to Zay Jones on the sideline that was dropped. An absolute beautiful throw.
I remember watching this live, I actually heard JT's voice in my head "don't make a bad play a disaster"

T Law is a very good quarterback. The throw to Ridley late in the 4th quarter was nice.
Basically every sideline throw to Ridley was nice because he knew Ridley would go and grab that. Dude had 8 receptions this game and all were big.
That play was huge. If they don’t convert that and give the ball back to Josh Allen with that much time left? Bills win that game
The coaches asked him for this London trip to take the run if he sees it. They specifically say don’t wait, if you see a opportunity & lane, get the yardage. Dougie P. Specifically said this in the Atl/Jax postgame presser, when he was asked what he thought about Trevor utilizing his legs more in the game.
Even though my guy has the athleticism to do it, before this London trip, tlaw has been straight pocket passer since he got in the league., rarely threatens defenses w/ the aspect in his game.
This is just my opinion, I think they want Tlaw to play a lil more off platform mindset. It’s when he’s the most deadly.
But yea, look it up the atl/Jax Dougie p presser.
Tlaw’s game film consists of more than the two games you decide to breakdown, if he was Saturating game film of him bailing clean pockets, he’d be as bad as the rest of the QBs in his draft class.
These incidents of him playing quick & not staying patient, has been a recent occurrence. Due to both his internal clock being affected by the oline poor performance since game 1 of the season. And Doug’s request to Trevor to run at the available chance.
It really sucks about him running instead of throwing the ball but with the oline I can't blame him. If he cleans up some of the throws I've seen from him this year and the receivers clean up the dropped passes. The jags will be insanely good I think.

For the turn down @16:30, I think-even at 6’6”-he doesn’t see the open check down because of all the bodies in between them.
I think it would be really cool if JT could take the place of Gruden’s QB Camp. I would love for JT to be able to break down film with top prospects and have them analyze their mistakes or quiz them at a NFL IQ level. I think it would beneficial for both.

@@itr0863He maybe looking to go sign with a better offensive line team someday, and honestly he could make that team single-handedly much better with him becoming more vocal in telling the coach to go grab some of the players he really likes. I see he really already is beginning to like Calvin Ridley as his main target.
You would think Doug would do more about the OL than he has. Trevor needs help and will get hurt this season.

@@ErvinandMFantasyFootballNot really wrong. He has all the intangibles and has all the amazing throwing ability both in the pocket and outside on scrambles. I've seen him grow literally since High School and college and all the way to the pros. He has a great opportunity with these guys, or maybe another team later on, to do something amazing.

He’s playing too quickly because the offensive line has been garbage. He has no choice tbh. and even playing quick and breaking contain at times he’s still taking too many hits because they interior oline can stop a nose bleed right now. Thank God he’s a huge QB that pretty durable. He is also good avoid avoiding pressure. But this is what we have to deal with this season. The line has been injuries and banged up since the preseason. And the Cam suspension made things a lot worse
9:52 can Trevor throw that ball straight up the field more and lead his guy up more? I know it’s probably some madden ass thinking but genuinely wondering could a QB and receiver trust each other enough to do that

All of these throws would be interceptions in Madden 24.
man wth was #0 doing with those YAC attempts. multiple times he caught it and then lost a yard by running backwards instead of just falling forwards or running out of bounds. the wr coach better get on him for that so he doesn't do it when it really matters
