His size was such a talking point but he’s throwing great over the middle of the field and he’s taking some big hits and getting right back up. Love the guy. He's too little....doesn't have the arm talent nor athleticism to overcome it in the NFL. He played with above average to elite talent all around him. Playing against inferior teams making up the bulk of the schedule. When he faced legit defenses (Like LSU) he looked just like he does now. Forced to stay in the pocket. Can't see over the tackles. Anything over 10 yards outside the numbers....off target, under/over thrown....cause he's little.

So the sooner he understands what a qb passing window looks like the better feel he’ll have for getting open in those moments. Diggs does stuff like that all the time. Is his drop style common out of the Gun for shorter routes? Seems very old school keeping his shoulders almost squared up downfield. Even in the gun for quick throws he's not flipping the hips and getting it out but kind of casually back peddling 1 or 2 steps.
It looks like his drop isn't matching the routes for short passes and he gets it out rhythm or he ends up throwing off the back foot or off balance. Like the throw at 4:05 looks like he takes a one step drop and then has to wait for the route and ends up throwing off his back foot instead of a quick 2-3 step drop and getting it out with good timing. Deeper routes like the the play at 12:12, we dont see the same type of drop and instead see a more traditional drop and it results in a driving throw and good timing with the route.
Same with 9:09, seem like if he does a quick drop instead of his casual back peddle, he would be able to have better timing and not have to do the little hop throw. Great throw either way but I just think his footwork is very different than others ive seen you break down.
Love the videos keep up the good work drop that is timed well with the route and leads to a good

I saw all of Bryce Young’s home games and this kids talent is literally off the charts. He is a genius too btw. 4.0 GPA and possessed one of the fastest processing test over recorded by an NFL QB. DJ Chark is suppose to be the fastest guy on the team. He ran a 4.33 at the combine and showed a ton of speed with the lions. Either his ankle injury has slowed him down a lot, or there's more wrong with the scheming than we're admitting. I lean toward the latter because TMJ is also supposed to have 4.4 speed. Regardless I've seen QBs do a lot more with a lot less.

The Panthers already had Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold, plenty of talent at QB. So they let them both go and trade up for the #1 pick, undersized QB Bryce Young. Bryce may eventually be as good as Baker and Sam, but the problem with the Panthers wasn't at QB. Maybe they should have drafted or traded draft picks for top linemen so they could win the line of scrimmage.

Baker....nah! But Sam? Hell yeah! Going into the offseason, I just knew Sam, DJ and Foreman would still be here. I thought they'd take the capital from the Cmac trade and go get the best OL, WR and DB they could find in the draft. Last year's team was a 7 win team. Same team with necessary upgrades would be a 9 or 10 win team imo and taking the division at least. But nope....traded cmac, dj and valuable picks to get Bryce. Now going into the bye week...likely gonna have to borderline gut the defense to get even more capital to spend on Bryce. Probably gonna give up a receiver or TE who just wants their QB to not ignore them when they're more than 20 yards away.
